THERE was little sweat with the Super Single as both to score came up inside 50 minutes at Levante.
All the stats pointed to goals at both ends and it was good to see Las Palmas maintaining their run of conceding in every away game this season.
The Top Treble was on until Tondela conceded a late goal to 10-man Boavista. Earlier Burnley draw no bet and Rangers to score 2+ had come up.
On the forum my Bet of the Day won thanks to three teams to score and the Betting Club day one bet was also a winner.
Tonight's main game is the Capital One Cup semi-final second leg between Liverpool and Stoke with the Anfield men leading 1-0. I'll post a separate preview on the game.
There are two Scottish Cup ties with Dundee facing Falkirk and Forfar at home to junior side Linlithgow.
Dundee are 20-23 favourites at McBookie but we all know the Bairns' love for an upset. I'd rather back over 2.5 goals at 17-20 with bet365 than pick a winner.
It was 3-3 first time out between Forfar and Linlithgow Rose and again I'm on goals with both to score paying a best evens at Betway. I know there's not much between these two sides but team news favour Forfar with the junior outfit without banned trio Gary Thom, Chris Gray and Ruari MacLennan while Roddy MacLennan is injured and a couple of others doubtful due to work commitments.
Elsewhere we have Brentford v Leeds and Nottingham Forest v QPR in the Championship as well as nine lower-league matches.
One stat that amazes me is Forest have never lost a competitive game at home to QPR – that's 19 wins and 12 draws. Dougie Freedman's side come into this on the back of a superb win at Middlesbrough.
Rangers, who could give a start to £2.5million new boy Conor Washington, have netted in all of their away matches so a Forest win (6-5, bet365) and Forest and both to score (21-5, Coral) are worth a look.
Brentford ended a run of four defeats with victory at Preston and have a decent record at home to Leeds (three defeats in 14) but I'm confident enough to pick them.
There aren't too many teams I'd put on a treble today but I can't past see AC Milan against fourth-tier Alessandria in Coppa Italia on neutral ground. Alesssandria have knocked out Genoa and Palermo but with a final place at stake and the game moved to Turin I'm on the big guns at around 1-2.
Add Ajax to score 2+ at home to Heracles and take Forest not to lose. Ajax have netted 22 in their last six at home to Heracles – all wins – and netted at least two in all of them as well as winning 2-0 at Heracles earlier in the season.
For the Super Single I looked at the likes of Barnsley, Morecambe, Bordeaux, Forest Green and Woking.
Barnsley have won their last four in League One, scoring 15 goals, and head to a Bradford side with one win in six and not too many goals. The Tykes hammered Rochdale 6-1 at the weekend and get the nod.
Having checked stats with the help of an RFO I've picked out a both to score treble. Other games I liked included the ones at Liverpool, Nottm Forest and Forfar.
On the forum I was asked for along shot so here goes – Forest, Barnsley, Shrewsbury, Morecambe, Walsall and Bordeaux. That's a serious long shot so if you think it has any chance do fivefolds and the accumulator for pennies.
Note Walsall game is now off so it's four from five and six bets at 0.15pts. Off to work – good luck everyone.

My early thoughts on Melbourne City a week ago paid off with them winning 3-1 this morning and tomorrow I’ll be heading to the exact same stadium. Not for City, but their rivals who they share stadiums with when the Victory host Sydney FC in the game dubbed ‘Big Blue’. Pundits were writing the Victory off not so long ago after a run of four losses in a row, but they are now unbeaten in their last four and pumped then league leaders Brisbane Roar 4-0 in their last outing. If h2h is anything to go by then this one should not be short of goals. The last three regular season meetings have produced no less than 18 goals with the Victory looking to make history in winning three consecutive Big Blues. The Albanian hitman Besart Berisha has 11 goals in 14 appearances this season and has scored 3 goals in his last two games against Sydney. Sydney have conceded the least amount of goals this season but haven’t kept a clean sheet on the road in their last four, and there’s just something about the history of this one that screams goals. I expect a decent game in what is Australia Day (26th) with hopefully the home side prevailing.

Crewe are pretty shocking at present and mentioned we should have marked a turning point with a brave late comeback against Walsall, holding a good Bradford side 0-0 with 10 men for 55 minutes to win on pens and then beating Oldham on Saturday.
IMO there’s no coincidence that Andrew Tutte’s return has tied in with our early resurgance. His injury in Autumn was the defining point of our downturn in form.
Crewe have fresh injury woes though with Billy Bingham and Jones out along with Wintle. Our playmakers Major, Tutte et al should be able to exploit the gaps in midfield.
I have a slight concern that Crewe managed a 1-1 draw with a Wigan side I rate and there’s not many games they don’t manage at least 1 goal.

Stefclonic12,only reason I can see is that Oxford are unbeaten away in their league since November and have scored 10 & conceded only 4.Although Cheltenham are also on top form so I’m guessing bookies are stating the odds to entice punters to go for the home team,and HOPING for an upset of an away win.Only my opinion though,and I’m no expert lol.
Cheltenham only played their last game on Sunday and will rest first team players for this FA Trophy replay, the game is more important to the lower ranked away side who don’t have the squad to rest players and have had an extra day off since easy win in their last match. Oxford not had an away game since 5th Dec though and Cheltenham’s home form is very good, also won at home in last round to Chelmsford from same level as Oxford. Could be value in home win at 2/1 but may wait for inplay.

I told them I tried to cover my stake at half time but the in plays were still showing matches that had finished and that I heard customers were getting recompense because of the problem.

Agreed Mr F on his write ups, but he wasn’t very transparent with his bets. Would always have a winner he didn’t tip and always had an excuse for a losing bet, where as many others know its a game of luck. Was quick to back stab too as I’m sure you were aware.

I agree, his write ups were pretty good, i felt sorry for people having a go at him for the length of them – after all there is no harm just scrolling past them.
