IT'S another busy day of sport and Milesey's not feeling well. How else would you explain him backing Scotland to beat Ireland in the rugby.
He also fancies Swansea to beat Bradford at Wembley – so go for the Scots/Welsh double.
And of course he's got plenty to say on the day's racing. Here are his Sunday best:
NAAS 3.35
Defy Logic is from the family of top-class chaser Strong Promise and looks a bright talent, as he showed when sauntering clear on hurdles bow at Fairyhouse recently. Plenty more to come and the one to beat now.
Don Cossack created a big impression when flooring rivals on hurdles debut at Navan (2m) in November. Not quite met expectations in two runs since but dangerous to dismiss at this level of competition.
Moscow Mannon was a smart bumper performer who ended last term with a good fourth in Champion Bumper at Cheltenham and had no trouble beating The Paparrazi Kid on hurdles debut at Navan. Sure to improve.
Art of Logistics won latter start in bumpers and looked promising when scoring over hurdles at Down Royal in November. Just a respectable third of six to Un Atout over C&D last time however.
The Tullow Tank was runner-up in sole start in points last spring and made a promising debut over timber behind Urano at Leopardstown last month. Will do better but looks to face a stiff task in this company.
Annie Power is unbeaten in five starts, leaving Jim Bolger prior to completing the hat-trick in match at Listowel in September. Never off the bridle in two hurdle victories and one to take seriously again.
Diplomat was useful on Flat, winning twice in 2012. Ran well despite not settling fully in a 17-runner juvenile at Leopardstown in December and will improve if learning to conserve his energy better.
Verdict: Defy Logic looked out of the top drawer when winning at Fairyhouse on his debut over hurdles and is preferred to Annie Power and Don Cossack in a cracking race of its type.
FONTWELL 3.45
Brampour struck up a fine partnership with this rider last term, the highlight being awin in Greatwood Hurdle. Got bogged down on heavy last twice and contender while ground dries out. Should stay this far.
Bergo has a prolific strike rate over jumps and was fourth in Aintree Grade 1 chase when last seen in that sphere. Campaigned in good staying Flat races in 2011. More needed back hurdling after long absence.
Dark Lover is a smart performer who has won four of his first six starts over hurdles, including a pair of big-field Cheltenham handicaps. Fine effort in the Betfair Hurdle latest and strong contender up in trip.
Meister Eckhart landed two bumpers for Charlie Swan and a heavy-ground novice hurdle (2½m) in 2011. Improved efforts in 3m graded races after and interesting back from absence for new yard.
Prospect Wells has translated smart Flat form to hurdles, better than ever when neck second to Zarkandar on return at Wincanton. Failed to stay 25f last time and this interim trip more suitable.
Valmari is pretty useful when jumping holds up over fences, winning twice this season. Well below form at Ludlow last time, though, and set to fall short back over hurdles.
VERDICT: Bergo and especially Meister Eckhart are interesting classy jumpers returning from absences but Paul Nicholls holds the aces and Dark Lover can give the Betfair Hurdle form an early boost with victory up in trip. Stablemate Brampour should also come to the fore back on a sounder surface.
FONTWELL 2.40
I'm on Poungach who dropped in grade for this race, after finishing a distant fifth last time out. Producing the form which saw him win a novices Group 2 last year would be good enough to win this race.
NAAS 2.00
Upsie makes her hurdling debut for trainer Wllie Mullins, champion jockey AP McCoy on board, as this winner of two French bumpers looks to get off to a good start for the Mullins yard.
NAAS 2.30
Mikael D'Hauuenet, with Ruby Walsh and Willie Mullins, is a match made in Irish heaven. When it comes to Irish racing this double act is deadly. Even before you get to talk about the horse who is very classy and should have little difficulty in this field.
NAAS 4.10
Walsh and Mullins again. Call The Police horse has some high class form, should be fine with the drop back to 2m. There is a good field in this race though so going to be tough.

Milesey
Milesey, I’m off too. Check in later.
Paul go doon reds an tell ma auntie Marie ye no Danny ull be left in harmony to do yer hing possibly free pool and a jar or 2
Danny, you can understand why I’ve deleted some of the stuff that’s appeared tonight. Next time I’m in Reds I’ll name drop you. Used to go in after most Bankies home games but now I head home and do my match report for the junior site then have a look at what’s happening here.
Anyone want to buy a share in a horse that i have 10% in shares in, shares are still available to buy and the horse is coming out for it’s first run in March on the all weather at Kempton.
It is rare for a small share syndicate to offer a horse such as Street Power. This seven-year-old has already won NINE times to date, and is currently rated 82 – good enough to run in the Ayr Silver Cup last season! In the last twelve months he has won twice, at Kempton and Ascot and is a wonderfully consistent and robust gelding. He is rarely beaten very far and racing in Class 4 and 3 races, he contested races valued from £3k up to 20k last season, winning over £10,000 in prizemoney.
Trained in Wiltshire by Jeremy Gask in superb surroundings, he will be racing both on the All-Weather and the turf and would be an excellent choice for any Southern based shareholder. We are delighted to be offering shares for the 2013 season in this imposing and talented racehorse. Street Power’s share will run through the All-Weather flat and summer turf seasons – from January to November 2013. Only 1 share is required to qualify for prizemoney.
Street Power, a winner at Kempton and Ascot last season is all set to return to the scene of his win, as he starts his 2013 flat campaign at Kempton on March 4th…
He’s been dodging the snow, ice and floods for the last two months, but steadily getting ready for his 2013 flat campaign – but now trainer Jeremy Gask has announced a target race for Street Power – our 82 rated sprint handicapper.
Milesey
Milesey, u racing it or cooking it?
It’s coming out again on the 4th March, and there are shares still available for anyone who wants to purchase them, around £200 will get you 0.25%.
Milesey
Milesey, as you know I don’t have time to get involved with the horses but could be an opportunity for anyone with a interest.
Street Power is a high-grade handicapper who found his feet in his four-year-old season, winning five times. Since then he has always run at least five times each year, and has won multiple races in the last two season, as well as being regularly placed.
He is an enigmatic and on his day, an impressive individual who runs his races using ‘hold-up’ tactics. Virtually all of his wins have come when being allowed to gallop out the back of the field, and then come with a powerful run in the closing stages to steal races from tiring opponents.
He is currently seven, but will race in 2013 as an eight-year-old. Whilst no spring chicken, Street Power still has plenty of winning days ahead of him, as these sort of hardened handicappers thrive on their racing and because he was given plenty of time to mature as a younger horse, it means that he still has plenty of petrol left in the tank. For evidence of this, see his performance at Ascot in July last season, where he won a £7,000 added Class 3 race by coming from last position to lead in the last few strides.
Jeremy Gask is looking forward to another full year of racing from the gelding through 2013, which could start on the All-Weather surface during the winter and then transfer to the grass once the turf season gets going.
Street Power will race in the South, but may also go up to tracks such as Wolverhampton or even Ayr if the right opportunities accur for him. However, shareholders should expect to see him race at Kempton and Ascot, all being well.
This is a very likeable gelding who should provide his shareholders with plenty of fun right from the start of 2013. His share period will start on January 1st and run right through to the start of November 2013.
It is easy to predict where Street Power will do all his racing in 2013. He is a proven winner at both Kempton and Ascot, and so it is those two tracks which will form the heart of his campaign.
However, as we saw last season, there is a good chance that the gelding could also go further afield. Last year he went to Lingfield and also made the trip up to Ayr for the Silver Cup. Jeremy hasn’t ruled out a similar attempt at that race again in 2013 – which would be a great ‘target’ race to win, being worth over £20,000 to the winner. Last year he was drawn on the wrong side of the racecourse, and suffered from a poor kick from the stalls, something Jeremy would be keen to put right if he goes there again.
A look at his racing from last season will show that he is a very competitive racehorse, rarely being beaten too far. His last couple of runs from last season can be ignored, as he was showing the signs of a long campaign, however this gelding has the knack of re-handicapping himself before scoring once again. Perhaps the most important factor for him is the pace of a race – he needs to be able to run off a good gallop, coming through horses in the last eighth of the race. Don’t expect to see him early in his races, he will be buried out the back, biding his time!
This horse also goes extremely well for the stable jockey Raul De Silva, so we expect to see him being ridden by the diminutive Brazilian. However, when Raul is not available, Street Power has been partnered by Jim Crowley, George Baker, Steve Drowne and Dale Swift. For shareholders it means you could well meet a varied group of jockeys at the racecourse!
Jeremy will be seeking out the opportunities which will suit this enigmatic, but decent class performer. We are really looking forward to his eight-year-old season, as he is a great horse to have available to our shareholders, and will be a popular horse to follow, hopefully racing as many times as he did in 2012, when he ran a total of thirteen times.
Milesey, I imagine the questiuon on everyone’s lips will be: How much?
£200 gets you 0.25% share, so doing your maths you need to spend £800 for a 1% share. This is the only one i have shares in that are available for this year, the other 2 i have shares in are full, till someone decides to sell their shares, what isn’t going to happen anytime soon for both been winning quite abit of prize money ;)
Milesey
Already bought a share in a horse a while back, havent had a return yet on my £1.59 investment but shes a mare called Birds Eye.
childish comments, but whatever, it’s a serious investment for someone and it’s a class horse, not like some you see people getting shares in and getting completely done on ones that have 10 runs a year and get prize money of 900 pounds ;)
Milesey
Milesey, I’m sure it’s sound. Right off to bed, up in the morning with a clear and a good look at Sunday’s card.
JASON DAY into the semi final tomorrow !

WGC Accenture Match Play
Back Jason Day @ 61.0
After a hugely exciting 2011 which included second placed finishes at the Masters and US Open, last year was a write-off for an injury-hit Jason Day. Thankfully, this young Aussie looks to be fit and back in form with two top-10s in three tournaments this year. A big hitter and fantastic putter, Day looks to have the goods for a strong run at Dove Mountain and at 60-1 we’re getting a nice price for a major talent.
lol Paul a just woke up a dont remember hof my night so the chances are some of them probably merit a ban woke up wae sum heed on me aye dreedin that theatre the nyt will be slidin aff ma seat thats it dont hinks it that expensive either 2quid for a botto

HORSE RACING TIPS
KEMPTON 3.20
CLIMAXFORTACKLE 3.2 betfair
She’s only 2lb higher for this run today, Jim Crowley on board should give another solid run.
KEMPTON 4.20
GUEST OF HONOUR 2.5 betfair
Top weight for this race, which may put quite a few people off, for giving quite abit to the other runners in this race. The weight rise just may not be enough though to stop this horse winning today, Kirby on board for MARCO BOTTI.
KEMPTON 4.50
POET’S PROSPECT 1.94 betfair
This Marco Botti filly was very impressive in opening her account over C&D, Kirby on board.
PLUMPTON 2.40
VIOLIN DAVIS 1.43 betfair
Sticks out in this race as the class horse, the form horse, and has taken to fences very well after being a decent horse over hurdles. Giving away alot of weight to all other runners, but should be just too good in this Novices chase.
PLUMPTON 3.40
JUPITER REX ? 2.38 betfair ( Question mark, could be a non runner )
( PLUMPTON 2.10: LEVIATHAN 2.54 into lucky 15 if JUPITER REX is a non runner)
Jupiter rex is the horse in form, the horse on the up, the horse that just has so much more scope then any of these others today.
WOLVERHAMPTON 2.30
CARDINAL 7.6 betfair
I am siding with this one in this very competative field, so many are in receipt of weight for their recent wins. Hayley Turner on board cardinal will give it a good run that i can be sure off.
