TUESDAY was a tough day but Wednesday was much better with myself, Greg and Jordan all posting winners.
My Daily Double won thanks to Sevilla and Juventus draw no bet but Jamie Vardy's consolation beat the Sevilla -1 Super Single in a game the Spanish side should have won more convincingly.
They missed a penalty – as did Hearts – and well done to those backing this market.
Greg's overs bet on the youths won and Jordan's goals tips on Gamba Osaka and Leicester both landed.
My goals treble was a Bristol City strike short but I advised cover for no loss.
Thursday's all about the Europa League and while there's no problem with it being a no-bet day I'm risking one point on a treble.
Spurs fielded a strong side in Gent last week but played poorly as they lost 1-0. They'll be keen to overturn it but remember the game's at Wembley and they'll have to be really up for it.
The likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli are expected to start and with a Champions League spot on offer for the tournament winners Spurs will be keen to battle through.
Our friend Max has tipped Kane to score after 10 in 10 games and I wouldn't argue with that but I'm sticking to my treble.
Elsewhere the likes of Roma, Lyon, Rostov and Besiktas are all but through after big first-leg wins. Ajax take on Legia Warsaw after a 0-0 draw in Poland and should win and Zenit's 2-0 defeat in Anderlecht surprised me but may have been down to a bit of competitive ring rust. While 2-0 is tough to turn around they can win on the night.
Shakhtar Donetsk won 1-0 away to Celta Vigo and should extend that lead in Lviv where they have a good record.
So the treble is Spurs to score 2+ and wins for Zenit and Shakhtar – low stakes advised.

For me it was bitter sweet last night. My Leicester goal landed along with the Osaka goals this morning, but unfortunately the Leicester goal sunk Mr F’s SS. Should have been much more for Sevilla but that’s football and I thought the value on the Leicester goal was worth it, and other than their goal, didn’t look threatening. Have already posted today’s thoughts so re-posting below. Worth noting that the NYRB play in the CONCACAF against Vancouver tonight so might have a bet after I’ve checked line-ups.
Pochettino started the likes of Kane and Alli in Belgium and still lost, so will have to do the same again at Wembley if they are to progress. Gent played well but it’ll be a much different game on the road with Spurs knowing they NEED to win. While Stoke are on the horizon, Poch should know that even top 4 might not be a cert this season with how tight it is in the Premier League, so winning the Europa League should be a high priority for Spurs and Manchester United. Gent have one clean sheet in six away games, and received a heavy defeat on their travels against Shakthar in the group stages despite scoring three at home, still losing 5-3.
Second pick takes us to Russia where Zenit were stunned in their 2-0 loss in Anderlecht last week. They controlled the game but let Anderlecht counter time and time again and were left with work to do at home. While they couldn’t score here, they should do in Russia. Anderlecht conceded in their three group games on the road and have lost in both of their trips to St. Petersburg, so I expect the Russians without having played since last weeks defeat to be prepped and ready to erase the deficit.

I don’t usually tip on the Europa league, but I have a NAP and NB to share with you all, and I suspect they will be popular throughout the day and I hope to land you all some extra cash for the weekend :-)
Morning all, it’s your main man Max here, with as promised my Europa league Nap and NB. As I said earlier I don’t usually tip in this competition but I have found a couple of cracking bets that meet my criteria for a NAP and NB.
The game in question is Spurs v Gent and to qualify without extra time Spurs need to score twice at Wembley. They have bit of a hoodoo at Wembley but won their last Champions league home game there and need to get winning at the home of football seeing as they are likely to be playing all their “home” games at Wembley next season.
They rounded off a poor week by beating Fulham on Sunday 3-0 and while Gent rested a few players in the first leg, I can see Spurs scoring O1.5g at 1/2 Boyles. O2.5g is 29/20 at Hills and I can see this landing too, as I suspect Spurs will field a strong side.
Harry Kane as scored 10 in 10 games in all competitions and his coming off a hat trick against Fulham on Sunday. I cant see him not starting so the 11/10 available to score at PP makes him my NAP. My followers are tucking into this price, so I advise you do too, as I can see plenty of you posting this through out the day and even a potential SS for Mr F?
There are a plenty of request a bets for the game, but for a point I am taking each team to take Over 1 corner in each half at 4/1. Tottenham should easily cover their part and Gent should do so especially in the second half if they are chasing the game. The first half is a slight concern but given the odds I am happy to take it.

Going to post this now as one selection takes place tomorrow morning. Like the Red Bulls and Vancouver, Dallas will also be in the playoffs of the CONCACAF Champions League at home to Panama’s Arabe Unido. Unido haven’t had a good start to their 2017 campaign but will at least have match fitness as a notch in their belt. However they’ve conceded in all but four of their last twenty road games in all competitions, conceding twice in both away group games against Monterrey and what turned out to be group whipping boys Don Bosco.
Dallas have a decent squad with Urriti, Akindele and Barrios, but Mauro Diaz will be missed with an achilles injury. They also have Roland Lamah who once featured in the Premier League for Swansea, and I thought had a bit about him. The travel should prove too much against what is already a decent side at home having only lost once in almost a year.
Double Dallas up with the Friday favourites Top Oss at Almere. In two minds over the BTTS or Over 2.5, but instead I’m going with the Oss goal. 11 of 13 now on the road for Oss have seen Over 2.5 and have scored in nine of their last 10 on the road . Almere don’t trend over as much at home but still average 3.2 goals per game. Just a thought from me about legia warszawa. Ajax are rightly favourites but any draw apart from 0-0 will take legia warszawa through on away goals. Legia are no Ajax but I reckon they can at least get a draw which should take them through.
Going half stake on legia to qualify at 3.25.
Anyone wanting to avoid Europa League, I see that one of Hull/Cranes favourite leagues in Bolivia has a game on at 7pm which looks good for BTTS and overs.

Can see why Santa Fe look appealing but note that Caldas’ 3 recent losses may look bad but these were against Medellin, Cali and Boyaca; 4th, 7th and 5th respectively.
Not sure about this one and could be a low scorer – if I had to take anything, I’d maybe go with Over 1.5 Santa Fe TGS at 7/4…marginally better than the 7/5 you would get for the SF win.

English football is on the decline in Europe. I might get heat for this but all I see is English sides going into european competitions, underestimating teams and bow out of competitions.. its embarrassing and they like to tell us that premier league is the ‘best league’ of all. Take the foreigners away from the league and you are left with Harry Kanes, Jack Wilsheres, Jordan Hendersons and Chris Smallings (All considered as fine players but in reality they are average)

English football – or at least it’s quality in general – is in decline, not just the teams in Europe…in a nutshell, other countries are getting it right at Youth level and the quality gap has narrowed massively over the last decade.
For all the PL money, 1st class facilities and the general wraparound package, the end product is poor and this is proven time and time again in top flight performances at club and national team level.
Not sure what the answer is but the passion for national/club identity on the football field is so diluted I honestly think this is where the problem lies.
For the die-hard ‘English rule’ fans it is a big pill to swallow – for the impartial and morally loose bettor, it’s fill your boots time ?

Problem with English football is the money it generates allows them to sign the best foreign players. This obviously doesn’t help the national team or let English players develop. It’s been this way for years.

Having looked at Friday fixtures, not many matches in Top divisions and card looks tough but if you were to go by stats then 1 game stands out to me

Both teams are having rough season and will need quick results to stay in Bundesliga. Wolfsburg, in my opinion, have slightly better quality players and will be looking for 3 points against struggling Bremen.
This fixture screams goals if you look at Head to Head record. Last 9 meetings between these two have gone over 2.5 goals, 6 of them have seen both scoring & BTTS result in 9 of last 12 H2H as well.
On current form as well, No clean sheet in last 5 for Wolfsburg and only 1 clean sheet in last 10 for Werden Bremen. In fact Bremen only have 2 clean sheets in last 20 matches.
Werden Bremen, despite being in relegation zone, have remarkably been scoring goals. They have only failed to score once in last 20 matches! And should score against Wolfsburg shaky defence who only have 7 clean sheets in 21 (3 of them were goaless matches).
