SATURDAY was a tougher card than Sunday but I simply picked the wrong ones.
Most of the picks on my shortlist won and the Super Single was a toss-up between Swansea and Marseille.
I went for the French and they managed to concede three goals in 38 minutes to a Nantes side who had previously netted three in seven matches or 630 minutes.
The only thing that put me off Swansea was the feeling Leicester have to get it right sooner rather than later. In my mind the champions can't go down but they're doing a good job of proving me wrong.
I think their next two league games are Liverpool at home and Hull at home and they're massive games for Claudio Ranieri and his men.
I should have gone all Italian on the Top Treble but instead added Hoffenheim not to lose at Wolfsburg to Torino and Sampdoria.
Like Jordan I'll still sleep tonight but it's been a disappointing weekend although at least Marseille scored to bring up the members bet.
On Monday Man City head to struggling Bournemouth and should win. Eddie Howe's men have been dragged into a relegation battle and conceded 22 in seven games. City have netted 13 against Bournemouth in three meetings including 4-0 at home this season and 4-0 away last campaign.
With Gabriel Jesus giving them a spark I can't see past the away win even if it is short at 47-100 with Marathonbet. Jesus is 10-11 at Paddy Power to score.
Elsewhere Lazio face Milan in Serie A with the visitors having ended a run of three defeats by beating Bologna with nine men. The two red-carded players, Kucka and Paletta, are banned and they have four of five injured.
On-form Eibar look one of the best bets of the night at home to Granada. Eibar followed a 3-1 defeat of Deportivo with a 4-0 success at Valencia and will fancy their chances against a side who have lost five out of six – all by at least two goals.
There are a couple Erste League games and also two in French Ligue 2 and Greg may have a steer on them.
My Super Single was posted last night and my only other bet is a double on Eibar and Hannover to beat Bochum in Bundesliga 2. Hannover lie third and a win will lift them to within three points of leaders Stuttgart.
They were unlucky to lose a last-minute winner to Eintracht Frankfurt in the German Cup and that was with a weakened team. They are strong at home and have suffered one defeat as well as one draw in nine while Bochum have won just once on the road.

It’s been a poor three days for me, but to be fair, Friday, Saturday and Sundays bets all missed out by a goal (some bets only needed two) but that’s the game and I was bound to give something back sooner or later.
I obviously tipped the City goals last week after Everton put six past Bournemouth. At odds of 1/2 it’s a big risk but one I feel should pay off aslong as form/stats/h2h stays true to its word. As Mr F has pointed out for me, City have owned Bournemouth since their rise to the top tier and look like they are getting back to their groove, surprisingly without the leagues best striker (in my opinion) Sergio Aguero. Fancy switching Manchester sides Serg? ?
Bournemouth have conceded 2+ in their last six competitive fixtures, 19 in total, and 3+ to nine of their last 13 opponents. Saw somebody say City looked laclustered in their win over Swansea, but 20 attempts at goal against a Swans side who have clearly improved over the last couple of weeks leads me to believe the Cherries could pop again at home.
What will the strategy be for Bournemouth? Sit back and try to limit damage and catch City on the break, or take it to City and risk being countered? Either way you’re asking for trouble and it doesn’t take a scientist to work that out against what is a title challenging team on their day, I just hope Pep has seen my posts over the last couple of days and the team talk is based on my bet, otherwise the Mrs will be getting sweet FA on Tuesday ? Tonight we have the last match of round 19, which was rescheduled after the extreme heat we’ve had across the country a few days back. Newcastle have not been goal-shy of late, although their defensive lapses are costing them points, which they will be keen to rectify as they only sit one point away from a top 6 position. Ugarkovic comes back from suspension to strengthen their defense.
Victory come into this match after a lucky escape and triumph over local rivals Melbourne City. Donachie returns to the side (also from suspension) to strengthen Victory’s defense.

Bournemouth don’t tend to sit back but at some point Howe has to accept they’re not too good to go down just like Leicester.
Agree Mr F, however the ‘ attack at all costs ‘ approach has paid dividends in past years for teams looking for survival as apposed to the ‘ only try and beat the teams around you ‘ method. Bournemouth very rarely don’t score which is great for us neutrals.

I know it’s a bit after the event but if from the start of the season you would have bet Celtic, Juventus, TNS to win, along with Top Oss over 2.5 gls accumulator every week at average odds of 5/2. It would have come in 15 times to 7 losses. So a maximum 10 points on these and you would probably be up about £3000. Do you think it’s a bit late to start now?
I worked out if you’d have backed BTTS and over 2.5 goals for every Top Oss game with prices around 10/11, evens mark you would be well up.

I usually look at form rather than H2H and recent form doesn’t indicate goals in this game, however I can ignore that 6/8 H2H have went over 2.5 the full line up being 5,3,3,1,4,2,3,5. It appears these 2 like to score against each other.
That would be enough on its own but I think the price is wrong, probably correct based on form only, but take the H2H into account and 23/20 looks generous to me.
