IT'S another action-packed weekend and while we have Scottish Cup ties almost every team will go full strength which makes life easier for punters.
I've posted separate English league and Scottish Cup previews and it will be interesting to see how Rangers fare against Morton on Sunday after parting company with Mark Warburton late last night.
My Super Single is St Mirren to win at East Fife. The Buddies face a desperate relegation battle in the Championship but despite that managed to win at Premiership Dundee in the previous round.
If they're fully focused they should win at the League One outfit and boss Jack Ross will know the opposition well having been in charge of Alloa earlier in the season. A best price of 6-4 with Paddy Power is value.
I've added the rest of the top tips now but don't try to do them all.
Last night my Top Treble won – Southampton, Napoli to score 2+ and over 2.5 goals in the Top Oss game – to return me to profit on the accumulators but my Dries Mertens to score Super Single was a loser so I have some ground to make up there.
Well done to Greg for his French tips and everyone who cashed in on goals in the Dutch games.

Fancy Sunderland Leeds and Brighton to score tomorrow 11/10+, all 3 at home to teams to teams who aren’t great away. Southampton without VVD is a big loss as can tell with them losing 10 gls in 3 last 3 games. Brighton great at home and Leeds decent at home and on a good run. Chucking all ma eggs here and only got a free fiver bet aff skybet on Sunderland to score 2+, Liverpool v Spurs BTTS, Rangers v Morton BTTS and a penalty to be awarded at Hearts v Hibs for 47/1 +

Melbourne City v Brisbane Roar
Melbourne City have been off the pace in recent weeks and should have broke their duck in the derby against Victory where they eventually lost 2-1. They will be hurting after that one and will be fired up for this one, although they will have to do it without several key players through injury and suspension.
Brisbane on the other hand are bang in form but question marks will be asked on how much there trip in the Champions League took out of them. I think with a few changes and some tired legs on the away side it should hopefully result in goals. No tip on this one but it will be one to keep an eye on especially towards the latter stages in my opinion.
Premier League, 3pm
Sunderland v Southampton
It’s already been mentioned on here but Sunderland’s odds are way too high and the bookies obviously don’t fancy them to follow on from that impressive win at Selhurst Park last week. For me Sunderland’s problems have arisen from a nervousness in front of their home crowd, this has been the case for the last couple of seasons. The fans are going to be up for this and can really give the home team that added lift and self confidence.
On the flip side Southampton have one eye on the cup final and like so many teams who make the cup final their form has really taken a massive hit since their win at Anfield. Van Dijk is also a massive loss for them and they are leaking goals left, right and centre at the minute and Defoe will be chomping on the bit for this one.
Suggested Bets:
Sunderland to win

Defoe to score anytime

Championship, 17.30, Sky Sports
Wolves v Newcastle
You may remember me tipping Wolves to win at St James’ Park several months ago when Wolves were 6 or 7/1. I think had we had won at Burton last week I’d be more reluctant to have backed us here and Newcastle may have caught us off guard. Again in this instance I think the bookies have overpriced us. A near sell out at Molineux (granted 4,000+ are Geordies) but this is a typical game where Wolves will raise the game. We have Wigan midweek and I tell you now not a penny of my money will be going on us that night. Lambert will be keen to get the players back on track so that they can get some kind of momentum to take into the Chelsea game next week. Add to the fact the whole Jonjo Shelvey racism storm it should certainly intensify the atmosphere. Romain Saiss loves a yellow card and if he plays would be an absolute shoe in for a card especially if he can give Shelvey a kick in the process.
Dwight Gayle isn’t expected to play and is a huge loss for Newcastle.
Suggested Bets
Wolves to win
27/10
BetVictor, Bet365
May also be worth keeping an eye on the booking markets and special which includes Romain Saiss and possibly Jonjo Shelvey to get booked.

Morning Guys, it is your main man Max here. I have nothing that ticks all my boxes for a NAP today, but Brighton O1.5g at 7/10 Various and Zlatan anytime 3/4 Winner made my NB Criteria. So These are my two NB Saturday tips, and I will split the rest of my pot accordingly..
I am liking Sunderland today. Followers and Regulars on the sports thread will well be aware of my hit rate on backing a “Unloved dog” and that is what I am doing today. Southampton are drifting along to their cup final while the black Cats will be buzzing after last week. I like Defoe anytime 2/1 Bwin and pushing the boat out on them scoring O1.5g at a MASSIVE 5/2 Skybet. My final selection is Aston Villa O1.5g at 11/10 Various.
Max’s NB tips
Brighton O1.5g 7/10
Zlatan to score 3/4
Sunderland O1.5g 5/2
Defoe to score 2/1
Villa O1.5g 11/10

I’ve had a bit of a nightmare on my tipping this past 10 days or so. Last week, I lost out on the chance to steer you towards 5 bets I really fancied and no tinterweb downed my chances of posting, its as well since all 5 outcomes went pear shaped.
Onto Wednesdays televised FA cup tie and even given how many changes both sides made, both Leicester and Derby netted in the 2nd half to leave it all square come 90 minutes.
I’d expected Leicester to of taken the win in 90 mins but the draw was really what neither side wanted and they stole the show in extra time.
I can’t be too hard done too though, I did tip over 2.5 cards ( 2 came in inside 10 minutes then a 3rd late late card near the death brought in just 3 cards I the whole 90 mins ). it was only a 4/7 but they all count.
I also advised Leicester would boss the race to 5 and 7 cards, they delivered that along with the race to 3 cards.
On to pride park 3pm vs Bristol City.
We really should be cleaning up here and at 4/5 with bet365, given Derby last few matches, I do think the 4/5 is about right. Had results gone a bit more favourably, I think the Rams could of been as low as 1/2 for all the spoils here.
Derby made 8 changes in the midweek fixture – but 6 of that starting 11 were players who given a decent run of games could make a solid contribution in the tail end of the season.
Hughes is still injured, Johnson is a doubt, but most of the rest are match fit as far as I can see.
The only position I’d think the gaffer will be looking at will be the Russell or Camara right wing role. Both a re a bit hit and miss, but Camara tends to have a better home game than away.
Anyway, I’ll be keeping it simple and dropping on to the straight Derby win @ 4/5.
I do like the look of Fulham and I’m tempted to drop on to a double, but if I do, i’ll split my stake with the Derby single and a Derby/Fulham double. Fulham did let me down last week though.
my mistake, I meant Leicester won the race to 3, 5 and 7 corners, not cards.
After getting nothing whatsoever on my correct scores last week i am going to persevere until the the end of the month and see how it pans out

Good morning guys,
There is only one game I like today from the Dutch league. It is the late game tonight.
Also waiting for team news for PSV v Utrecht tomorrow. It looks like Utrecht can miss up to 9 players due to injury, suspension and sickness (flu). Backing PSV on the handicap could be a good bet
Vitesse v Willem II
Vitesse have been in great form after the winter break W4-D1-L0, beating sides like Twente (3-1), Feyenoord (2-0 cup) and AZ (2-0). Vitesse have some very good attacking players with Van Wolfswinkel, Rashica, Tighadouini + Lewis Baker and Nathan (who are both on loan from Chelsea) all available. Vitesse are in the top 5 for most shots per game and least shots conceded per game.
Willem II lost 4 of their 5 games after the winter break and won 1 game with a 93th min winner against strugglers Sparta. They lost 1-3 at home last week against Heracles who played with 10 men since the 21th minute. Willem II only scored 16 goals in 21 league games, with 5 of these coming against top 6 sides. 3 of these goals were scored at home (Heerenveen 2x and Vitesse 1x) and 2 away in a 2-1 shock win at Ajax in the beginning of the season. Willem II is fourth on the list with the least shots on goal per game in the league. Willem II haven’t conceded at lot away from home, but they only played 3 away games at teams from the top half of the table (W1-L2). Vitesse won the reverse fixture 1-4. For me this game looks like a 2-0 or 3-0 home win.

Gaz Metan Medias – CFR Cluj
========================
Gaz Metan :
==========
– only a draw for the hosts in the first game of the year 1-1 against Timisoara ;
– after 22 stages, occupies 4th place in the standings with 35 points accumulated, and has very good chances to catch a play-off place;
– Mediesenii managed 3 wins in the last four games played at home, Astra is the only team that won in this interval;
– Gaz Metan is a strong team at home, where lost only two games this season, Astra and Pandurii are the only teams that have won at Medias;
========================
CFR Cluj :
========
– CFR Cluj drew at home against Steaua 1-1;
– following this draws, CFR Cluj dropped to 7th place in the ranking, being in this moment outside the play-off places;
– Camora and Deac ( two of the most important players)are suspended and will not play in this game, and Nascimento was injured in the match against Steaua, and has little chance to play in this game;
– Cluj have lost their last two trips played in Ligue 1 against CSU Craiova and FC Voluntari, but is one of the best teams on the road, with 17 points gained;
– 4 of the last 5 matches of CFR Cluj in Ligue 1 ended with at least 3 goals scored;
========================
Gaz Metan has never lost in front of the CFR Cluj at home.
CFR failed to score in the last two visits at Medias.
I think the tradition will continue, and CFR Cluj will have a tough match in Medias, for which I count on a Medias succes.
I appeal to the “draw no bet” type of bet, if the match ends in a draw we’ll get our money back.

Like Nathan U, it’s been a pretty poor week for me with most selections going down like Geo’s keynote speaker booking at this year’s Dyslexia UK Conference…
Put up some thoughts re The Shakers chances on yesterday’s thread as we host a wobbling Swindon Town but I wouldn’t be trusting us on anything but the goals markets.
Swindon have signed ex-Shaker and Bury lad Nicky Adjose so he could well cause our porous defence a few issues whilst their keeper had had his red card rescinded which otherwise would have meant they had no ‘senior’ keeper available…shame that!
I’ll be waiting on team news to put my money down as Brass has a habit of making bizarre last minute calls but I do think we will make a real shot of this ‘6 pointer’ as home games could well be key to our survival.
No significant team news this morning but that Ismail will almost certainly be out for the season to sort out his dicky groin and it looks like opposite winger Danny Major should be back on the bench after his keyhole surgery was deemed a success.
Andrew Tutte – a real force last season and a great player – is also set to return.
Player of the Month James Vaughan has benefited from Hope and Pope’s assists recently though if either of the two are to break their own recent drought, it might well be Hope who hit a brace in our 1-2 away win earlier this season.

Morning!
Yesterday was a bit of a disappointment for me with Eindhoven faltering despite a very strong second half. Oss continued to provide goals but unfortunately they conceded just the one – couldn’t have seen that coming! Onto today – a Saturday which, for me, often involves spending ages whittling down a shortlist.
First up I fancy goals in the Ryman division (as I did midweek) where Harlow Town host Havant and Waterlooville. I simply can’t understand the price on offer for BTTS here. At this level of football, this price would be worth a punt regardless of stats, but I can’t see past both scoring today. Havant are the 2nd best away side in the league according to form, scoring 27 goals in 14 games, and conceding 14 in the process. Today they visit one of the best home sides in the league in Harlow, who themselves have scored 36 in 16 home games this season. Harlow’s last home game ended 6-2 and given Havant’s record of scoring at the top home sides recently (Bognor, Folkestone) I think we could see the same today.
Harlow Town vs Havant and Waterlooville BTTS @ 7/10 (Unibet)
____________________________________________________
This one was originally my main bet until I came across the price at Harlow. Leeds, besides their resting of players in the FA Cup, have been in really good form and that form is particularly strong at home. They will be looking to bounce back following their defeat in the Yorkshire derby last time out and a home fixture with Cardiff, who rarely keep a clean sheet on their travels, should be the game to do it.
Leiston FC were due to play midweek and have been attracting a lot of local media attention for their free-flowing style and desire to outscore the opposition first and foremost. I’ve been on their team goals a few times this season and planned to midweek until the game was postponed. That postponement means they’ve not played in about a week and a half. They should be suitably well-rested when hosting Staines who have taken 1 point from their last 4 games. Leiston’s home team goals tally reads 2,4,4,5,1,5,3,1,2,5 in their last 10 games in all competitions. With Staines conceding 28 in 17 away games this season, Leiston should be able to grab a couple today.
Leeds to Score

Arsenal v Hull 12.30pm
Arsenal love a corner, particularly against lower table oppo…last 3 games at home they’ve had 9, 10 and 8 (Watford, Burnley and Palace). Today they’re at home against Hull and I’m all over them to rack up the corners against what will likely be another defensively minded Hull side.

Anyone fancy hull to score against arsenal?
Hull to score before 80mins evens
Can’t decide
Hull must have a chance of scoring the form they’ve been in and Arsenal lost 2-1 at home to Watford last time out at the Emirates.
That’s what I thought & silva has hull set up to play a way that arsenal don’t really enjoy playin against…..gona wait 5mins or so & stick on I think, cheers mr fixit
Hull look well these days but with goals having been scarce away from home, so i think they will not score
Cheers input radu….still not placed bet
Glad I left hull on the end

Just looking at my home team Plymouth vs Exeter in the Devon derby today. Despite Exeter’s recent form I just feel Argle will want to prove a point here in front of a sold out Home park. They have a better squad there is no doubt about that and to be underdogs by the bookies in this game is only based on Exeter’s recent form. Will there bubble burst today? I think so.!
Argle can move 12 points ahead of Exeter with a win and still have a game in hand which will certainly help put the pressure on Doncaster. If they put in a shift and Derek Adams has them in the right mind set they will win.
But instead I will be on over 2.5 goals. @evens will hill.
Exeter just can’t stop scoring and if the likes of Wheeler and Watkins are in the visitors starting 11 then there should be goals at both ends.
A cheeky bet on Argle to win as well. (Small stakes).
GL today.
Been looking long and hard at those tempting home win odds myself! Will follow the overs with you and paddy Irish ?
@warktheline they both came in great odds for a convincing home win. Happy with that. COYG
5 games covered from Saturday’s action as my old favourites Werder Bremen make another appearance while there is a big game from Anfield with Spurs the visitors against a badly out of form Liverpool side.
Here are my Key Facts and Best Bets for your Saturday.
#BOlieve
14:30 Werder Bremen vs. Borussia Gladbach
Prediction – 1.2
Best Bets – BTTS @8/15, BTTS and over 2.5 goals @10/11
Key Facts
* Werder have seen BTTS in a remarkable 21 of their last 22 home league fixtures
* 17 of those 21 games also saw over 2.5 goals scored
* Werder scored in all 22 of those games with their sole clean-sheet coming at home to Frankfurt 7 months ago
* Werder have seen BTTS in 17 of their last 18 league games (home and away)
* 15 of those 17 games also saw over 2.5 goals scored
* Exactly 3 goals have been scored in 8 of Werder’s last 10 home league fixtures.
* Monchengladbach are not specialists in the BTTS market, only 2 of their last 5 on the road have seen BTTS. Both of this matches did go over 2.5 goals as well
* Before the winter break, Monchengladbach had won picked up just 5 points from their previous 11 games. However, they have picked up 7 points from 3 games following the break.
* Monchengladbach have scored 6 goals and picked up 6 points from their 2 most recent league fixtures. They only scored 5 goals and picked up 6 points from their previous 10!
* Each of the last 4 meetings between these two sides have seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals. 21 goals were scored in those matches!
* Going back further, 6 of the last 7 meetings between these two sides have seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals. 33 goals were scored in those 7 matches.
* Going back EVEN further, 9 of the last 10 meetings have seen BTTS. 7 of those 9 also went over 2.5 goals. 42 goals were scored in those 10 matches
* Indeed, only 2 of the last 15 meetings did NOT see BTTS
* None of those 7 games were drawn with Monchengladbach winning 4 and Bremen 3
Final Verdict
When does the Bremen BTTS gravy train come to a halt? I can’t stop backing them, I won’t stop backing them! Every weekend, without fail, Bremen deliver the goods and I am pretty annoyed that I didn’t make them my NAP or NB last Sunday as they achieved yet another BTTS and over 2.5 goal performance in their 3.2 loss at Augsburg.
BTTS is short @8/15 but I don’t expect the run to stop here with Monchengladbach improving considerably in their last 2 league outings following the winter break. Remember, this is a team that finished in the top 4 last season and if they can regain some of that form, they should continue to rise up the table during the 2nd half of the season.
I expect goals of course, with the visitors probably the likelier to edge the win, certainly on current form with Bremen now losing each of their last 3 and winning only 2 of their last 12.
Although the visitors have been awful on the road this season, their last 2 performances suggest an improvement in the side has been achieved during the winter-break and given the home-sides generosity in defence, I can’t avoid BTTS and over 2.5 goals here @10/11 with the short price of 8/15 for BTTS still worth taking for BTTS specialists Bremen.
14:30 RasenBallsport Leipzig vs Hamburger SV
Prediction – 3.1
Best Bets – Red Bull to score 2 or more @4/7, Red Bull to win and BTTS @9/4, BTTS and over 2.5 goals @5/4
Key Facts
* RBL have scored 2 goals or more in each of their last 7 (SEVEN) home league fixtures
* RBL have won all 7 of those matches
* RBL have seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals in 5 of their last 7 home league wins (Red Bull to win and BTTS @3/1)
* Hamburg have conceded 2 or more goals in 6 of their last 10 away league games, including 4 of the last 6
* Hamburg have lost 7 of their last 10 away Bundesliga fixtures
* Hamburg have improved lately, taking 14 points in their last 9 league fixtures. They had picked up only 2 in the previous 10!
* Hamburg have seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals scored in 3 of their last 5 away league fixtures
Final Verdict
RBL have lost their last 3 away league fixtures but a return to familiar surroundings should see them take the points with a couple of goals likely as they welcome a struggling Hamburg to Leipzig.
Leipzig have been tremendous in front of their own support and I expect that to continue as they welcome Hamburg to town in what should prove to be a decent game where I expect a home with at least a couple of goals scored. BTTS is quite possible, given the improvements made by Hamburg and the recent form of RBL but my main pick is the hosts to score 2 or more @4/7 odds.
17:30 Liverpool vs Tottenham
Prediction – 1.2
Best Bets – BTTS @7/10, BTTS and over 2.5 goals @6/5, Spurs not to lose @3/4
Key Facts
* Liverpool have seen BTTS in 6 of their last 8 home league fixtures including 4 of their last 5
* 5 of those 6 BTTS matches also went over 2.5 goals
* Liverpool have scored in 17 of their last 18 home league fixtures, scoring 48 goals in the process
* Liverpool have won only 1 of their last 10 matches. They had won 7 of the previous 10.
* Liverpool’s form is getting worse with 4 defeats in their last 5 matches
* Liverpool have failed to win ANY of their last 5 home fixtures in all competitions, with 3 defeats and 2 draws. They had won 9 of their first 11 matches at home this season, remaining unbeaten during that period.
* Spurs are unbeaten in their last 9 PL fixtures, winning 7 and scoring 22 goals in the process.
* That run included a tremendous win over Chelsea, as well as a somewhat lucky point at Man City.
* However they have only won 2 of their last 9 away PL fixtures
* Spurs have seen BTTS in 7 of their last 9 away fixtures and in 5 of their last 7 away PL fixtures
* Spurs have kept just 1 clean-sheet in their last 10 away fixtures in all competitions
* 4 of the last 5 meetings between these two sides have seen BTTS
* Each of the last 3 meetings at Anfield between these two sides have seen BTTS
Final Verdict
Spurs don’t have the best of records at Anfield but I expect that to change here as Liverpool, in the midst of a dreadful run, look to win their first home match in 6 attempts against an in-form Tottenham team that are up to 2nd in the league following a 9 match unbeaten run of their own.
Liverpool look a pale imitation of the side that was tearing the league up back in Autumn and with only 1 win in 10, you have to fancy Spurs to emerge with a point or better at generous odds of 3/4, especially when you consider just how poor Liverpool have been lately.
Spurs have struggled at times on their travels, and they have not found their best form in recent wins over Middlesbrough and Wycombe but they seem the fresher outfit, and I expect them to avoid defeat here in what should be a decent game with plenty of chances at both ends.
Liverpool almost always score at home and the chances of BTTS look pretty good to me @7/10 and that, along with Spurs not to lose are my stand out bets here.
Goals should come, and we may well go over 2.5 goals so the double with BTTS @5/4 is worth a punt as well.
Best of The Rest
14:30 Ingolstadt vs Bayern Munich
Prediction 1.2
Best Bets – BTTS @1/1
Key Facts
* Bayern have kept only 1 clean-sheet in their last 10 away fixtures (all competitions) and only 1 in their last 7 away league fixtures
* Bayern have seen BTTS in 5 of their last 7 away league fixtures
* Ingolstadt have scored in 15 of their last 18 home league fixtures
* Ingolstadt have seen BTTS in 5 of their last 7 home league fixtures
* Ingolstadt have won 2 of their last 3 at home. First, a fine 1.0 win over Leipzig followed by a 3.1 triumph over Hamburg
* Ingolstadt are definitely improving as the season goes on with 13 points taken from their last 9 games. They had taken just 2 from the first 10
* Bayern won 2.1 in last season’s corresponding fixture
Final Verdict
BTTS is worth a shot here at a tasty price here, perhaps on a small stakes acca. Bayern are still leaky in defence while the hosts have certainly improved following a dismal start to the season.
a team that seems to get overlooked here is dover. and goalscorer ricky miller,
ricky miller has just come out of lean spell [all of 2 games !!!.. ] joked jeff streling last week

Good Evening lads
Middlesbrough vs Everton
Everton have won to nil in each of their last three visits to the Riverside
Everton continued their upturn in form with a crazy 6-3 defeat of Bournemouth and can keep shot shy Middlesbrough at arm’s length. Boro have failed to score in four of their last nine home league games and are finding points hard to come by, going without a win since Christmas.
Bet To Consider : Everton
Sunderland vs Southampton
Sunderland have lost just two of their last eight at home
Sunderland’s 4-0 triumph at Crystal Palace could be just the shot in the arm the Black Cats required and they are a generous price to see off a Southampton side who have won just once in nine league away games. Injuries have hit Saints hard and are unlikely to ease anytime soon.
Bet To Consider : Sunderland
Stoke vs Crystal Palce
Crystal Palace have won on their last two visits to Stoke
Crystal Palace have become a bogey team for Stoke, with the Potters failing to win any of the last seven clashes, losing the last five. And while Palace’s embarrassing capitulation against Sunderland will have dented confidence, Sam Allardyce will be drilling his team to tighten up for this trip to Stoke.But I seriously considering Stoke city to nick this one
