JUST call us the last-action heroes. Myself and Greg Browning put up tips yesterday and we both needed late goals.
Besiktas hit a 94th-minute winner at Omansilspor to bring up a 20-21 Super Single that returned me to profit.
Greg needed late goals at both of his Scottish Development League matches between Aberdeen v Motherwell and Kilmarnock v Hearts to land his 13-10 nap.
That was good news for him but he won't pleased to see I'm now a 2-9 shot from going 1-0 up in our £10 to £100 Challenge. Tuesday could be the day.
Also on the members' forum the Betting Club tip won and on Bet of the Day I posted a losing double but winning single – Levadiakos to score at 11-10.
So despite a quiet day it was good one and it's a similar story on Tuesday with not much on,
There is a William Hill Scottish Cup replay between Linlithgow Rose and Wick Academy and I'm surprised to see the Highland League visitors as favourites.
East junior side Rose were the better side in last week's game and were pegged back by an injury-time equaliser. They are strong at home and Wick won't be helped by a near six-hour road trip and the absence of a couple of players.
In reality the teams are closely matched so Paddy Power's 7-4 on Rose to win is too big. In that case I'm chancing 2pts on Rose not to lose in 90 minutes at 21-20 with McBookie. I also expect both teams to score but so do bookies and that pays 4-11 at Betfred and Paddy Power.
Rose prices have now collapsed. When I first looked on Monday they were as big as 2-1 but now the best price is 21-20 at McBookie so that makes Rose or draw now as short as 2-5 with the likes of bet365.
I haven't saw them on any coupons but there are seven FA Cup Trophy matches tonight including short-priced Conference side Macclesfield at home to Northern Premier Ashton and well-fancied Altrincham at Leamington.
If anyone has thoughts on any of these ties put them up but I don't know enough about the teams involved to pick anything out without spending a couple of hours of research – and today I don't have that time.
I did notice Skelmersdale and Fylde drew the initial tie 4-4 and 13 of Skelmersdale's previous 15 have seen both scoring while eight of Fylde's last 10 have gone over 2.5 goals.
So with plenty of scope to risk a point or two on the acces I'm putting up btts at Skelmersdale and Macclesfield to win as well as well-tipped Altrincham and Southport not to lose.
Elsewhere Mouscron v Charleroi is a closely-matched Belgian league game and there's not much else to look at.

Yesterday I went to hills to stick £100 on a team to score fourfold using their team to score coupon.
One of them was Braga who were priced at 1-6 on the coupon.
When he put the slip in it came up as a price change
Braga to score 8-11 from 1-6
Pacos to score 1-6 from 8-11
This is clearly a mistake by them. I even told the cashier, but he wasn’t interested.
Anyway I put the 100 on a single of Braga to score 8-11.
I now have a docket which I know is a mistake.
Are they liable to pay me now, and if they try and backtrack, is there anything I can do.
Braga have scored by the way, so can they stop me getting my £172 ???????
It’s done through their official coupon after all…..

I’m trying to understand your question. If I understand it right you’ve placed a £100 bet on Braga to score at least once. You’ve used a William Hill (WH) coupon which had a price of 8/11 quoted but, when you placed the bet they gave you 1/6 (and the cashier informed you of this). You proceeded with the bet which has now won (well done btw). The receipt they gave you also have odds of 1/6 on.
If I’ve summarised correctly above it’s a winner but only at odds of 1/6. The coupon prices do change (yes, usually downwards!) and the cashier should tell you (they are usually alerted by their terminal) there is a price change. The prices are correct at the time of publishing (and their T&Cs will say that they can amend prices before KO from those on the coupon). Good practice is to tell you and your receipt will reflect the new price.
It happens to me all the time (although sometimes the coupon prices are unaltered and are better than normal over the counter or even online prices).
In short, nothing you can do as WH have done nothing wrong here. I’d be pleased you have a winner (£16 ish profit better than £100 loss) and move on.
Sorry, not what you want to hear I guess but on this one WH are in the right I’m afraid.

I read it the other way. The original price price was 1/6 but when he placed the bet it came up as 8/11. I very rarely bet in a shop these days but I always thought if the odds are written on the ticket then that’s the price you get paid out at.
Slees1903 – Re-reading it I see why you think that (and I have to agree with your interpretation).
There’s little chance he’ll get 8/11 on Braga to score one goal. That’ll either be the wrong market or a human error. Given Braga to score 2+ was priced at 7/10 I doubt they’ll pay 8/11 on one goal :o(
sless1903, they don’t have to pay you at the odds written if it’s clearly the wrong price.
If they notice they’ll pay you at 1-6. 8-11 looks more like Braga to win price.
elvis parsley, as I said earlier they’re not liable to pay you.
We’ve had this issue loads of times – if they give you or if they quote the wrong price they don’t have to pay you.
They are liable to pay you at 1-6 but might not notice it’s wrong or system might not flag it up.
Expect to be paid at 1-6 but anything else is a bonus.

Paphos has played well in the beginning of the season and won 3-0 in the first round game however they inexplicably decided to change their manager. A few bad games later they change their manager again and this is the first match with their new manager on the bench.
Doxa vs Omonia, KO 5pm:
1/2 is short for Omonia’s win. The first round game ended 1-1 with Omonia leading 1-0 from the 36 minute, playing with 10 men for 45 minutes and Doxa equalising on the the 95th minute. Omonia have been improving under their new manager, they still make silly errors in defence but I believe they should win this.

I know Macclesfield have been tipped for the win here and I’m not disputing that, but think Ashton will pose more of a threat than suspected.
There’s not a world of difference in quality of play and players in the National League (Macc) and the Non-League Prem (Ashton) and Ashton are THE form team in their respective division.

Evening Crane, 3-4 to Maldives last time out back in October. Quatar was the big hammering of Bhutan a while back I think 15-zip?) and since then Quatar beat Maldives 4-0. That said, Bhutan played Quatar again recently and was a much narrower victory.

bluemooner, I tend to find pp are the slowest at settling void bets often they stick to their 24 hr rule ie if game not played within 24 hrs of original ko time bet either voided or settled but recalculated if part of an accy
