ROSTOV landed a nice and easy Super Single but Burnley beat my treble on a night I didn't see much I liked.
Bet of the Day for members won for seven out of 10 and my challenge bet came in so it wasn't a bad day.
Thursday's all about the Europa League and I've checked stats and team news before picking my selections.
As usual it's a bit of minefield and already sides such as AZ, Anderlecht, Sassuolo, Fenerbahce, PAOK, Krasnodar and Rapid Vienna have virtually booked a group slot after big first-leg victories. The ones at home should win again but there is always a reluctance to back a side that doesn't need to perform.
I'm starting with a goals treble. Brondby trail Panathinaikos 3-0 but will go for it after hitting three at home to Hertha Berlin in the last round. If they do they'll probably be picked off by the Greeks on the break.
The Danes have banged in 19 goals in six and ex-Celt Teemu Pukki, who hit a hat-trick against the Germans, is 5-3 at 888sport to score again.
Add btts at Rosenborg v Austria Vienna and Hajduk Split v Maccabi Tel Aviv. Rosenborg are 2-1 down at home where they are strong but have conceded in five of their last six.
Split lost 2-1 in Israel and have also conceded in five of six including four to Rijeka and Dinamo Zagreb. Maccabi's games are goal-laden and their last six have saw both scoring and over 2.5 goals.
There's not a lot I like for the Top Treble but have gone with three sides where the ties are still in the balance although weighted in favour of the home men.
Start early with Qarabag at home to Gothenburg. I read a stat that astounded me from the first leg that finished 1-0 to the Swedes. Qarabag had 17 shots to the home side's four.
Azerbaijan's a tough place to go and Qarabag were unbeaten at home in the league last season with their last defeat coming against Spurs almost a year ago. Gothenburg have lost their last two away games to Hammarby and Djurgaardens and I'd be surprised if they avoid defeat.
Add West Ham at home to Astra after a 1-1 draw in Romania. The Hammers are aiming to gain revenge for last season's loss and will put out a strong side as they go for there home wins in a row at their new London Stadium home.
Complete the treble with Shakhtar Donetsk at home to Istanbul. Making the groups is a must for boss Paulo Fonseca after the Ukrainians Champions League flop and they should make sure after a 2-1 win in Turkey. They have won four in a row since their exit to Young Boys and destroyed Dnipro 4-0 at home at the weekend.

Schalke – Despite losing sane they have recruited well this summer, with embolo joining and scoring on his debut in the cup. Frankfurt narrowly avoided relegation last season and I expect schalke to challenge for a champions league position this season with their new coach. Again this bet seems like a good value as a single on its own at 6/5 (various places). although recent head to heads favour frankfurt I still think schalke will win this one.

I said I was going to have a bet for tonights MLS card but it was too short for what I wanted. Philadelphia Union are a team I like away and should score at Columbus who are always liable for a goal going past their own net. Even more so for Orlando who host Toronto FC. After success with the Morecambe goal yesterday I’m sticking to the market but heading into the Europa League.
Midtjylland Goal Before 72min @ 5/6
Midtjylland are currently 1-0 down after the first leg with an own goal in the first half. They dominated the first leg with plenty of possession and shots. This leg should be the same as the Danish side need a goal to make it all square. They have successfully scored in 19/25 away Europa League games but will face a tough test against a strong defensive side Osmanlispor. The Turkish side have kept 5 clean sheets on the trot, 3 of those in the Europa League to nobodies, the other in the first leg and then in their first league game of the season. Looking back to the start of last season and they failed to keep a clean sheet in their first 9 home league games and only managed 4 clean sheets out of their 17 home league games ?.

Dragon vs Deportivo Saprissa 3am
Saprissa won the home version of this fixture 6-0 in the group stages and are extremely short to win tonight but I’m not convinced.
Their most recent history in this competition shows a massive gulf between their home and away form as last year they beat Western Connection 4-0 at home but got beat 2-1 away which is the only win Western Connection have managed in their last 10 games in this competition.
They also beat Santos Laguna 2-1 at home but lost the reverse fixture 6-1 away
If Dragon weren’t in such poor form domestically I’d be severely tempted to take them over 1.5tg @ 4.33 but on balance I think the better bet is btts @ 1.83 (which is not to say I might not take both lines on :) )
