IT was almost a no-bet day but in the end I decided to do a double and it came in thanks to late goals by Union Berlin and Stourbridge.
The first I spotted in the afternoon but wanted something to double it with so thanks to HullShaker and Alves for tipping goals at Stourbridge which ended 3-1 to the home men.
There's a bit more to look at on Tuesday with five games in English Leagues One and Two, four in Scotland and a busy National League card. All matches in the Republic of Ireland have been postponed as a mark of respect after the sudden death of Derry City captain Ryan McBride.
Nothing much stands out tonight but I'm taking Port Vale draw no bet as the Super Single. Vale should go to doomed Coventry and win but they're not good enough to trust on the road with just one victory all season.
However, Coventry have lost five out of six and all three under new boss Mark Robins who hasn't been impressed with his player's fitness. Vale are just two points off safety after beating Shrewsbury at the weekend and will see this as a great opportunity.
To win their odds have shortened from 13-5 to 11-5 and that tempts but I'm keeping the draw with me.
Accrington were an alternative at off-form Morecambe and I also considered Lincoln at Boreham Wood but results can be strange in lower leagues in midweek so my only other bet is a goals treble.
Start with Oxford v Bolton with both sides in good scoring form and bringing up this market in four of their last five games.
Add over 2.5 match goals at Forest Green v Solihull. Forest Green's last six have gone over 2.5 and while they could cover this on their own they've conceded nine in their last five.
Complete the treble with Clyde v Cowdenbeath. Clyde have a keeper crisis and have kept just one clean sheet in 13 under first Barry Ferguson then co-bosses Peter MacDonald and Jon-Paul McGovern. Beath usually net away and when they met at Broadwood in August it was 3-3.
They trail Clyde and Edinburgh by seven points at the foot of the table so it's a must-win if they want to avoid a relegation play-off.

In December 2020 we sadly 
National League South treble for Tuesday.
The top three are all at home to teams in the wrong half of the table. Maidenhead play Oxford City, Ebbsfleet play Bishop’s Stortford and Dartford host Margate.
Do all home teams @-1 with Bet365 and the return is almost 9/2.
The beauty of this bet is that Maidenhead and Ebbsfleet are battling for the title whilst Stortford and Margate are almost certainly relegated. It might also be worth a dabble at -2 on all three games but probably safer on the -1.

If anyone watched the Union game we have the ref to thank for the win. Up until 70 odd minutes, Nurumberg dominated the second half. The ref disappeared down the tunnel for 5 minutes. The players had drinks and a team meeting. The ref finally returned on 78 minutes and Union looked a different team. Not sure if the ref had an injury or had a madras earlier in the day. Strange one!

I like the look of BTTS and Overs at both Fylde and East Thurrock, both of which have nice prices. Tamworth, too, look good value for a goal at home to Kidderminster at 2/5. NORTH FERRIBY VS. TRANMERE:
North Ferriby is only down the road from me and I’ve been meaning to catch a game for some time but with work/kids, I haven’t managed it yet!
They have risen through the ranks in recent years but have struggled at this level with a talented but young squad.
Tonight’s visitors, Tranmere have been impressive and will be up there in the promotion mix come the season end BUT – they do have a vulnerability about them and have hit a bit of a bum patch in recent weeks.
In their last 4 games they have taken only 2 points with 2 losses and a draw – even more tellingly, they have conceded in 70% of their last 10 games…in fact they have conceded a goal in over 50% of all their games this season.
Ferriby themselves are hardly setting the world alight but I reckon they might just find a chink in the Tranmere armour – prices are big and the Villagers have netted most of their goals at home with 3 in their last 4 scored on the banks of The Humber!
It’s not going to be a popular choice going against the 4/11 favourites but I’m taking Ferriby to find the net at a price that is just too big…

Sickener – missed Bath City penalty in the 90th minute and that’s that. It all looked so comfortable early doors, but unfortunately the goals continued to flow solely at Skelmersdale. 1-10 last time I checked… ridiculous! I reckon Mogi Mirim could well capitalise and get on the scoresheet here with at least a goal scored in every one of their last 8 games backing up the claim.
