I WAS a Lille goal short of a second successive 3-1 Top Treble but called the Atletico Madrid game perfectly.
Suggested bets included Atletico to win to nil, Atletico to keep a clean sheet and Atletico draw no bet. For some reason I didn't put any of them up as a Super Single and I'm still asking myself why.
Jordan's tip on Falkenberg came up and while Greg was spot on about Zalgiris' home form the match was short of goals as they won 2-0.
Thursday's another quiet one with most eyes focused on the Villarreal v Liverpool and Shakhtar v Sevilla Europa League semi-finals and I've posted a separate preview where my Super Single can be fully focused.

Shakhtar Donetsk are my favourite to go on and win the Europa League this year. They last won it in its Uefa cup format just under seven years ago and with the way the Champions League dropouts are playing this campaign it could prove quite difficult for anybody to stop them. Their home form in The Ukraine is very good; they beat Anderlecht and Braga 3-1 and 4-0 trespectively there. Going back to the Champions League they defeated Malmo 4-0 and just narrowly lost a 4-3 cracker against Real Madrid making them one of only three teams that have put three past Real Madrid this season (Barcelona and Sevilla were the others). Sevilla are not the greatest of travellers, 5/8 of their previous La Liga aways have seen 2 or more scored against them whilst in the Europa League they have conceded to the likes of Molde so considering this Shakhtar should notch two tonight in a very partisan atmosphere.
GIF Sundsvall will have the opportunity to go top today after Ostersunds slip up at home to Orebro yesterday. 3/5 of GIF Sundsvall matches have seen overs the highlights being a 3-1 over Orebro and an excellent 2-1 victory at Malmo. 3/5 of Kalmar’s matches have also seen overs but they possess the joint third weakest defence in the league so goals should be on the agenda in this.

Hi wark, I think its very difficult to call. Bognor have clearly had the much stronger end to the season and are scoring freely but as you say its the playoffs where the whole season hinges on this one match. If I was to go with my gut I’d take the Bognor win or go with punts on Bognor/Bognor 2/1 or Bognor/draw 14/1 with Bognor or Dulwich HT DC to stick in an acca at 4/7 but due to uncertainty and without seeing either play Im staying away. Not much doing today in terms of outcomes so to avoid taking something for the sake of a bigger price I am just going for an unimaginative short priced favourite treble of around evens. Levski Sofia don’t score a lot of goals at home despite being solid there but have the best defensive home record in the league which always gives them a chance and they should beat Cherno More who have taken just 2 points from their last 5 away games. Kuban are struggling this season with just 3 wins in 25 matches and have freefalled into the drop zone so I cannot see past a home win for Zenit who as we know are strong at home- Kuban do pick up a hell of a lot of draws though. Lastly a bet Regionalliga West where ther are two similar matches involving poor teams at home against better teams so it was a choice of which away side to take. I have gone with Aachen only because Kray;s form in the last 10 rounds is the worst in the league but Wattensheid have just as good a chance I feel.

Amazingly, they’ve only conceded 1 goal in their last 6 Europa league matches at home as well!
Liverpool – the draw specialists – have drawn 5 from their 6 Europa league away games since the start of the group stages having scored only 2 goals in their last 4 away. They’ll be without Can, Henderson and Origi and so I think they’ll struggle to break down this resiliant Villareal side.
I’m going for a bigger stake on a safer Villareal DNB @ 1.875 and a smaller stake on the outright win @ 2.55.

The Yellow Submarine are a force to be reckoned with at El Madrigal – they’ve lost only 2 from the last 21 games there and have won every home tie in the competition so far – beating the likes of Napoli and Bayer Leverkusen. Amazingly, they’ve only conceded 1 goal in their last 6 Europa league matches at home as well!
Liverpool – the draw specialists – have drawn 5 from their 6 Europa league away games since the start of the group stages having scored only 2 goals in their last 4 away. They’ll be without Can, Henderson and Origi and so I think they’ll struggle to break down this resiliant Villareal side.
I’m going for a bigger stake on a safer Villareal DNB @ 1.875 and a smaller stake on the outright win @ 2.55.

Currently 3/1 in most places. This year’s WR class is pretty weak and 3 are in the conversation as the 1st WR going. Corey although don’t run a lot of routes, has explosive speed and I think teams will value that over the likes of Treadwell and Doctson.

As Hull has already mentioned, Independiente have a great home record and come up against a free scoring River Plate in this years CL. I expect both teams to score but I feel the over 1.5mg is a smarter bet as it allows for either side to score 2 to bring the bet in.
U. de Deportes currently sit top of the league in Peru against 2nd bottoms U. San Martin. UdD have won 4 out of 5 at home, having drawn the other and have the same record against USM head to head.
Urawa and Nagoya have played out there last 5 games against one and another which have all seen over 2.5mg. Nagoya have an awful defensive record but always seems to snatch the odd goal which should hopefully see this one over the line.
