UNNOTICED (2.05) will appreciate a slight drop in grade and looks a knocking each-way bet at around 5-1 in the opener at Southwell.

Ollie Pears has kept his gelding busy on the Fibresand this winter but Unnoticed has retained his form remarkably well.

His third to Mister Freeze last time was another solid effort, as was his head defeat at the hands of African Trader earlier in March.

Third horse Best Tamayuz had previously beaten Kommander Kirkup (winner since) and a repeat of any of those runs will put him firmly in the mix.

The 2m handicap is a real puzzler but AZAM (3.35) should figure if taking to this different surface.

Mick Appleby has his string in fantastic nick and Azam should welcome this slightly easier assignment following his fine third to Chocolate Box and Sam Missile at Chelmsford City.

That came off a 7lb higher mark on the back of a most convincing success at Chelmsford City when thumping Bear Valley and Mambo Dancer by wide margins.

The form of his rivals is all inter-linked, with The Resdev Way chasing a hat-trick. He beat Katie Gale two lengths here in early March but subsequent scorer Katie Gale finds herself 13lb better off.

Katie Gale, in turn, was beaten by two of today’s rivals, Cousin Khee in February and Serenity Now in December. Serenity Now found 1m 3f on the sharp side when chasing home Star Ascending but is a course winner over 1m 6f and two miles.

John have you had a look at the irish grand national, see rogue angel is 2nd reserve. Hard to believe the sudden decline…. the horse is afterall only 10. If the horse got in would it have a chance.

All 9 runners trained by Mullins and Elliott.
Are these 2, good at what they do yes, strangling Irish racing.
For me I can’t see how these 2 can celebrate wildly when they have big winners at cheltenham, punchestown etc when they monopolize the field basically.
Don’t know what I’m trying to say to be honest, but I find the Irish scene tedious when basically all the other yards are feeding off scraps to keep their yards going.

Same with every aspect of life, rich are getting richer and the poor are suffering more and more. How can people go to fancy events like the Oscars to celebrate meaningless bs when the world is in its current state. Nobody cares as long as they are fine.

    • errryesno 6 years ago

But the poor are richer than ever before !
Violence is at an all time low, since records began.
The world is better than it’s ever been but profit and the quest for money is strangling life’s potential.

Am sure if we gave Johnb 20 top horse’s to train he would do the horse’s justice and the punter’s.
I think there are thousands of humans able to do what these top trainers do ?!

Elvis, it has to spoke about or it will only get worse.

I for one would have horse’s with the top yards, if money wasn’t an issue yet know it’s ruining the game.
Humans act within the rules and conditions set in place, the best understanding we have for human nature is, we grow to our environments and learn behaviour !

      The rules need changing fast

No NAP today, trappy cards especially in Ireland where you don’t know how horses will react so close to running at cheltenham, though I’ve picked one to make up a double.

Out of sheer boredom I’ve done.
      Traffic fluid 2-15 plumpton 5-6
      Shattered love 4-30 fairyhouse 6-4
      Pays just over 7-2.

I fancied tactical manoeuvre 3-15 plumpton as a nap at 3-1 but a few respected pundits here and online have picked lickpenny Larry, which I can’t fathom, but they must know something so left it on the shelf.
