LUCKILY December was a good month because I've had a rotten start to January.
Spurs were a goal short of bringing up the Super Single and they hit the post and bar and Harry Kane had an off day.
The La Liga Top Treble never got going with Sevilla beating it at the first hurdle.
Every day in January I'll put teams to score bets on the forum although there isn't much to look at today.
I'm hoping for better results this week but Monday's a quiet one with Sporting Gijon v Getafe in La Liga and Nice v Rennes in the French Cup and not much else.
I've looked at all the games in detail and nothing stands out. I'd favour Gijon but not enough to put money on them while Nice v Rennes looks a close call. Even the Spanish second-tier matches don't look clear cut.
There are two Scottish Development League games scheduled – Celtic v Hamilton (3pm, Broadwood) and Hearts v Dunfermline (7.30pm, Ochilview).
Celtic won easily and I had considered putting up a tip if Hearts went strong against the basement boys.
The Jambos went out to 1-2 from 1-3 with bet365 after teams were revealed. Boylesports offered 7-10 on a Hearts win and over 2.5 match goals and that's now 5-6.
I only recognise two of the Hearts line-up so on that basis and the fact they've drifted I'll leave them alone.

Its definitely been hard to predict some of the results over the past few days Mr F! Think i’m going to have a no bet day but the odds look good for Valladolid in the Spanish Segunda League, playing Girona who haven’t won in 4 and don’t seem to perform at home with just 1 there in 9 attempts this season.
Does anyone know why the odds are so big?

And the whole point of the forum was to try to make the site less busy – it had got out of hand and is much easier to follow now.
Anyone who has left has to understand it’s still free to use unless you want the silver or gold membership.
Didn’t see post, nonetheless, Luke not everyone post one bet after another. In my opinion, many have followed the ethos from the likes of Greg Browning, thus only posting tips they truly believe will come up trumps. Constantly betting is not sustainable. Of course, all are free to bet as they see fit, but I have noticed punters on site gradually being drawn into betting too often, then realising their error, and returning to type, thus regaining discipline!
Personally I posted two consecutive awful weekend tips, but came back this weekend with Southport 13-5 winner! An example of returning to discipline, and not overindulging in betting. Most are aware that others are considering posts being posted, as potential bets.
