VIDEOTON are fast becoming a favourite on this site and their two-goal blast late on at Pecs brought up my over 2.5 goals double.

It wasn't the biggest win but on a quiet Sunday it was welcome nevertheless. As usual site regulars will be trawling the world looking for good things on Monday.

The obvious game to punt on today is the Brazil v Russia friendly at Stamford Bridge. The Brazilians fought out an entertaining 2-2 draw with Italy last week and there should be goals here with over 2.5 paying 10-11 at Coral.

Luiz Felipe Scolari will be hoping to put on a show on his return to his former Chelsea hunting ground and I can see Brazil winning if they stop conceding.

However , a best price of8-13 at Paddy Power against a Russian outfit who will be fresh after Sunday's World Cup qualifier in Northern Ireland was postponed isn't the best so look at the overs or both teams to score at 10-11 with William Hill.

Fred hit the opener against Italy and this time it could be Neymar who is 9-2 at Coral.

There are European Championship Under-21 fixtures as well as some friendlies and Scotland should pick up three points from their meeting at home to Luxembourg but are of course no bigger than 1-7.

However, McBookie.com's 4-9 for the Scots to be leading at half-time at St Mirren is backable. Scotland should win by three or four and a match containing four or more goals pays 1-1 at Paddy Power.

Stuart Pearce's England did us a turn last week when we backed them minus one to beat Romania. The 3-0 was the Under-21s eighth successive win to nil and they're lining up another against Austria at Brighton.

England are a best 3-10 with Ladbrokes and BetVictor and 10-11 at bet365 minus one. And you can have 13-10 at Paddy Power to win to nil.

Wilfried Zaha netted against Romania and I've noticed some tips for the Man Utd-bound star to score tonight but he's out because he's going for dental treatment.

Last week we turned our attentions to the Russian league and Ural who duly won. Ural and Tom Tomsk are fighting it out for the title and Tomsk looked fairly attractive at a best 23-20 with Betfred to win away to Shinnik.

Tomsk have won seven of their last nine away from home while Shinnik have lost the last five meetings of the sides.

In the earlier game at 12pm our old friends Ural, 8-13 at Stan James, should beat Rotor Volgograd at home to keep up the pressure on Tomsk. Ural are 10 points clear of the team in third and further press home their advantage in the promotion race.

If you fancy a treble start with Ural and add Belgium Under-21s who should be too strong for the troubled Cypriots.

There's not too much happening today but Chelmsford in the English Conference South can see off Eastbourne at home, according to Milesey, and I'm happy to add them.

He's quoted the fact Chelmsford floored Farnborough 6-0 last week and have lost just one in 19 at home as they push for promotion against a side sitting 17th in the table.

I’m trying to find a result of a game in the Icelandic League Cup, i put a small bet on it to be Over 3.5 goals, Soccerway has the game up at 1-3 while futbol24 has it up there at 1-0….the game was between Fjolnir Reykjavik and Vikingur Olafsvik, any help would be appreciated

John, I’m seeing 1-0 Vikingur from flashscore. Futbol24 are usually reliable.

      Brazil v Russia
Monday 19:30, live on ITV 4

Fabio Capello, it’s fair to say, is enjoying his time as coach of Russia rather more than he enjoyed his time as coach of England. His contempt for the English way of doing things was fairly evident by the time he quit as national coach last February but rather than slinking into retirement, he has found a job that is paying him even more than he got from the Football Association, assorted oligarchs chipping in to find a reported salary of £7.8million per year.

His brief is clear. Russia have failed to qualify for the last two World Cups, losing on away goals in a play-off against Slovenia last time round despite going into a 2-0 lead in the first leg in Moscow. With Russia to host the World Cup in 2018, there is a need to at least reach the finals in Brazil (they are 65.0 to win it) to avoid the job that they are not a football country, and that their hosting of the tournament is down only to money.

Capello’s first months in the job have been impressive. For one thing, the Italian clearly enjoys life in Moscow finding his renowned appetite for culture sated by Moscow’s many theatres and galleries. “My wife lives in Moscow permanently, just like me,” he said in a recent interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta. “We’ve rented a flat in the centre because I don’t like hotels. In fact, I hate living in hotels: the atmosphere there really brings me down. I like the freedom of living in my own apartment. Here you can spend your time as you wish — eat, drink and listen to music.”

On the pitch too he has had the sort of start he could barely have dreamed of. Russia are unbeaten in seven games and are yet to concede in winning all four of their World Cup qualifiers so far – although Monday’s friendly against Brazil (4.6 to win the World Cup) at Stamford Bridge arguably provides their toughest test yet.

The postponement of Friday’s game away to Northern Ireland means Russia have played a game fewer than Israel and Portugal but they are still four points clear. Although they must play Portugal away in June, they have breathing space.

Solidity is the key. Vassily Berezutsky has at times in the oats appeared as a weak link in the Russian line-up, but his partnership with Sergey Ignashevich in the centre of defence, along with the return to form after injury of the goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev, have been key.

So too has been the form of Igor Denisov: Russia have struggled over the past few years to replace Sergey Semak as he entered his mid-thirties but the Zenit St Petersburg midfielder is at last beginning to deliver on his immense promise. He is capricious and prone to swings of form, but at the moment he is probably one of the best five holding midfielders in Europe.

Brazil, meanwhile, are still struggling to find form. A poor build-up isn’t necessarily a major problem for a tournament host but, as Luiz Felipe Scolari takes charge of his third game since replacing Mano Menezes as coach, they seem no closer to working out how best to arrange their array of attacking stars.

His two games so far have yielded a defeat to England before Thursday’s 2-2 draw against Italy in Geneva, when they let a 2-0 lead slip. Other than seemingly settling on Dante and David Luiz as his preferred centre-back pairing, it was hard to see any progression from the England game to the Italy match.

Yet, bafflingly, Brazil are 1.63 to win and Russia 6.8, prices that reflect perception and history more than the reality. It’s true that Capello’s Russia haven’t faced a really good side in form yet, but then Brazil certainly aren’t in form.

Odds of 6.8 seems far too long to pass up and, given Russia’s defensive record and the fact that Brazil have conceded two in each game so far, it’s tempting to dabble with Correct Scores: 2-0 to Russia is 44.0 while 2-1 is 20.0.

      Recommended Bets

Back Russia to win @ 6.8
      Back Russia to win 2-0 @ 44.0

      HOME and AWAY DOUBLE
      ——————–

Fabio Capello’s Russia side go into this clash well rested following the postponement of their weekend fixture with Northern Ireland – and they will be keen to spring a surprise on the South Americans.

The Italian boss has already intimated that he is treating this tie seriously, and is looking for the win, and that promises a fast-flowing game of attacking football from these sides.

And with his side having lost just one game since March 2011, I think that they are a decent bet to make a game of this one.

Russia have kept five clean sheets from their last six games, and Capello will be looking for his defence to maintain that miserly approach as they face the five times world champions.

And 10 unbeaten from their last 11 outside of Russia suggests that they will be comfortable lining up at Stamford Bridge this evening.

Brazil go into this one still without a win under Luis Filipe Scolari, and they will be disappointed to have thrown away a 2-0 lead in Geneva against Italy last week – as they ended up drawing 2-2.

That makes just one win from five for the Samba boys – and suggests that they are not quite the formidable opposition they once were.

I think it’s fair to say that this Brazil side is certainly one in transition, and Scolari will be keen for them to finally break that victory hoodoo here – with three of the side (Luiz, Ramires and Oscar) playing on their own patch.

But I reckon the Brazilians are priced far too short for the win here – and the real value lies in Russia, at 6.4. The South American defence has looked far from tight in recent outings, and the Europeans have more than enough capability to nick a goal or two here, which would provide a perfect opportunity to trade out for profit.

Alternatively, for the more cautious amongst us, the Russians are available at 4.5 on the DRAW NO BET market.

      Bet 1: Russia (AWAY) @ 6.4

Switching our attentions to slightly less glamourous climes now – as Chelmsford City host Eastbourne in the Conference South, looking to pile the pressure on the top three – and build on a 6-0 thrashing of Farnborough last week.

The hosts have been going well this campaign – and currently sit fourth in the division, with just one loss from their last 19 outings on their home patch.

That will give Glenn Pennyfather’s side much confidence ahead of this clash, with two clean sheets from their last three at the Melbourne Stadium underlining just how comfortable the Essex side have looked in recent weeks.

Twenty two goals notched in eight games in front of their own fans suggests that the hosts are lethal in the final third, and that will be worrying for their visitors, who have kept just two clean sheets in eight games on their travels.

Eastbourne line up for this one sitting 17th in the table, and are just four points outside the relegation zone – which will have them feeling the pressure.

Tommy Widdrington’s side have struggled for consistency of late, and have failed to win in seven of their last nine league games, which suggests that they may find the momentum of their hosts difficult to cope with.

Furthermore, just one goal scored in their last six hours of football indicates that the goal shy Sussex side desperately need a bit of luck in attacking areas tonight.

Chelmsford have won the last two meetings between these sides – and I expect them to make it a hat trick here.

      Bet 2: Chelmsford City (HOME) @ 1.57

Milesey, Brazil v Russia is tough to call. In parts Brazil were good against Italy but as you say overall results recently haven’t been great.

    • Milesey 11 years ago

Brazil and Russia meet at Stamford Bridge for a friendly tonight and Paul Robinson thinks that Luiz Felipe Scolari will have to wait even longer for his first victory in his second spell as boss.

The Brazilians led Italy 2-0 last Thursday but their defensive frailties became apparent once more as the Italians scored twice in three minutes during the second half. ‘Big Phil’ will likely recall Thiago Silva and Marcelo to the first team to bolster the backline but they will have to be at their best to help them earn their first clean sheet in five matches.

Scolari was installed as manager to lead the Samba Boys into Rio 2014 but it remains to be seen if he still has what it takes to succeed. Since he flopped at Chelsea he didn’t exactly set the world alight at Bunyodkor and despite winning the Copa de Brasil at Palmeiras, he was dismissed in 2012 with the club in the relegation zone.

Russia also have a new man in charge in the form of former England manager Fabio Capello. The Italian has done much better than his counterpart though as since taking over in July 2012, the Russians are undefeated.

After having their World Cup qualifier with Northern Ireland postponed twice, it’s not exactly been an ideal preparation for Russia. They have pretty much a full strength squad to choose from though, with the only absentee being Igor Denisov.

The Russians have won five of their last six – all to nil – with the only blip being a 2-2 draw with the United States. They may not have faced too many stop sides during that period, although they did beat Portugal, but they are a thoroughly professional outfit and they will be highly motivated to get their first ever victory over Brazil in the country’s history.

Brazil are trading as low as 1.64 for this match and that is just far too short given recent form. It seems the game has been priced up on reputation, so with that in mind, I have to make Brazil my lay of the day.

Milesey, wat would u put in a double with tomsk at a decent enough price? And what time is tomsk game kick off?

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

John, I had a look at Tomsk yesterday and they look a good bet. At 23-20 with Betfred, last time I looked, I’d be happy with the single. England and Scotland Under 21s should win at short prices as should Belgium.

  23. DM 11 years ago

John, Tomsk kicks off at 3pm

  24. Mr H 11 years ago

John have a look at Avellino 11/10 v Nocerrino or Tom Tomsk Evens v Shinnik Yaroslavl

  25. Mr H 11 years ago

Sorry I meant Ural 8/15 v Rotor Volgograd not Tomsk

  26. Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Mr H, it’s been well reported but this isn’t the place for Old Firm mud-slinging.

  27. Mr H 11 years ago

I’m not mud slinging Mr F, just an observation. I’m well aware that my club do this too and people in glasshouses shouldn’t throw stones

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Mr H, re the Gers comment as you know it doesn’t take much for a Celtic fan to wind up a Rangers fan and we’ve had problems with this in the past. It was reported in the Record last week that both clubs count all season ticket-holders whether they appear or not and to be honest I thought that was normal.

  28. john 11 years ago

Thanks a lot I might just put a single on tomsk then and see about brazil game later. Not so sure on it yet

  29. Callum 11 years ago

theres a few U21 games on today and this evening, does anyone follow it or have any views on the games other than the england match?

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Callum, I’ve tipped Belgium and also Scotland to win the first half as well as England of course. I’ve put up a single, double and treble and think it’s enough for today in the run-up tomorrow’s World Cup qualifiers.

  30. DM 11 years ago

Anybody got any thoughts on the Germany v Ukraine U19 match?

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

DM, betting on Under-19 games is tricky. Personally, I don’t look at them and would only consider a bet if someone gave me a steer. For this I could only go on the prices. I’d need to spend a lot of time researching form and especially teams news before giving an informed opinion. It’s not worth the effort when there are options today.

    • DM 11 years ago

Thanks Mr F, my dubious pick of the day will be left well alone lol

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

DM, Danny doesn’t need to work so he’s the man to ask.

    • Danny 11 years ago

DM since 05/06/11 until now they have only lost 2 games it looks like they should have a comfortable win against the Ukraine no real value in them at 2/5 they should cover the -1 handicap @ 1/1 Stan James and if they get of to a flyer even the -2 handicap @ 11/4 Boylesports they are also 19/20 halftime-fulltime sky bet it looks a good price I assume most people don’t have an account with every bookie out there but most will have one with bet365 halftime-fulltime with them is 5/6

    • DM 11 years ago

Thanks Danny, will see how my early bets play out then may well consider it later

I don’t quite get why people took them anyway, the team they are up against have only let in 14 goals this season. and Ural are top having only let in 13 goals, but i can’t see alot between these teams to have made URAL such a favourite for everyone, that is why i left it alone and only going big on TOMSK today as my only football bet.

Milesey, I don’t change my bets. The treble’s down but it was so early most people probably didn’t get on. Anyway, you’ve got a new No.1 fan in Dean who thinks you get nothing wrong – just don’t give him any tips on Stevenage games.

    • Milesey 11 years ago

hahaha, i only tip on Stevenage, golden rule never bet on your own team, and never bet on scottish football, you should always remember that, it’s as important as Back High / Lay low ;) ;)

      Milesey

    • Milesey 11 years ago

Did i tip ? NO ! so there you go, if i fancied them to win i would have tipped it, i didn’t say nothing about Urinal, so don’t get shirty just cause your treble blew out on the first team ;) ;)

      Milesey

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Milesey, u didn’t tip but it’s easy to say after the game that Ural weren’t a good bet. As you’ve said to others in the past.

    • Milesey 11 years ago

      “” TOP JOKEY “”

Anyway when are Swizterland playing again you could have doubled them with URINAL ! ha ha ha ha ;) ;)

      Milesey

    • robert miller 11 years ago

milesy, you say never bet on Scottish football? i watched a horse last week that put his hoof to the line at 4/7. four fences later it pulled up

never back horses its a mugs game

    • Milesey 11 years ago

hahahahaha 100 times more exciting watching a horse race then watching a scottish football match, that’s why sky don’t show the sh*t, racing uk, at the races, sky cover dubai, meydan, channel 4 racing. What is more popular scottish football or horse racing ?

      Milesey

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Milesey, it’s a daft question. Of course Scottish football is more popular in Scotland than racing. It’s the No.1 sport in the country.

    • Milesey 11 years ago

i didnt ask if scottish football was more popular then horse racing in scotland ? you need to give them goggles a good wipe.

      Milesey

    • Milesey 11 years ago

What is more popular scottish football or horse racing ?

does that specify in scotland ? Spanish football is big worldwide, premiership is, so is italian football, and so is horse racing, is scottish football, the answer to that is noooo, i didn’t specify in scotland, so wipe them goggles and pick out some winners tonight.

      Thank you

      Milesey

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Milesey, I’d rather watch Bankies than Barcelona so no Scottish football isn’t more popular in Spain. Right, need to write a Serbia v Scotland column for the Record and it won’t be pretty.

    • Sean Ireland 11 years ago

”The Bankies”?..surely you mean The Krankies.

    • Sean Ireland 11 years ago

Dont mean to kick off mr fixit but your quote on footy being the number 1 sport in Scotland surely has to be wrong,JR Hartleys book on fly fishing was at the time the number one all time top seller north of the border. It eeven eclipsed that of ”Scotland the brave”a biography of scotlands glorious fetes on the football world stage.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Sean Ireland, depends if you’re talking participation or audience figures. And depends if you count fishing as a sport. To me it’s as much a sport as walking the dog.

  41. DM 11 years ago

    come on URAL

  42. DM 11 years ago

  43. tadgh 11 years ago

R.I.P Ural lol, milesey I’m only listening to you and Mr f from here on in lol

  44. Badham 11 years ago

How to make a Monday worse. Oh well picking up my new smart tv later that this months betting has paid for.

  45. tadgh 11 years ago

All aboard the Tomsk train :-)

  46. tadgh 11 years ago

Yh Ural sat back on their 1 goal lead could see it coming, they should have won but like Mr f says failed to build on it

  47. Part Time Punter 11 years ago

A team as short prices as URAL were are not worth the stress, never had an accumulator treble go tits up so early in my life

  48. DM 11 years ago

    Worth going big on Tomsk?

    • Milesey 11 years ago

I went big on them first thing this morning @ 6/5 after my two big singles came in last night ;) ;), so i’m hopefull.

      Milesey ( betfair )

  49. Dean 11 years ago

Same here, I think I’ll primarily follow Milesey’s tips from now on.

I can understand why Milesey wasn’t keen to take them on but considering Ural’s excellent home record and their ability to keep clean sheets, followed by the fact that their opponents struggle to score away, I thought they looked a solid bet.

Unfortunately, they didn’t keep a clean sheet and couldn’t score more than one goal against the opposition.

I had Tom Tomsk to win with Ural and Zamora, which won last night, but considering my recent poor run, I’m not going to put Tom Tomsk on as a single but I wish everyone the best of luck if you choose to back them

    • Milesey 11 years ago

I did have a look through all the football for today , what isn’t alot to be honest, and only fancied TOMSK as a big single.
      3PM K/O
      RUSSIA: Division 1
      Yaroslavl V Tomsk
      TOMSK WIN @ 6/5

but i now keep going back to RUSSIA and think they are worth a good bet for WIN OR DRAW, or LAY Brazil.

      Milesey

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Milesey, I can’t make up my mind about Brazil v Russia so probably just back goals because the Brazilians have been scoring and conceding.

    • Milesey 11 years ago

Think we all like a good Brazilian ;) ;)

      Milesey

  50. tadgh 11 years ago

Milesey your first horse of treble just went the way of Ural or urinal haha see these things happen :-)

    • Milesey 11 years ago

yes just watched it, didn’t pick up, but if you do inplay, or back to lay then not to worry, like on URINAL you could have then layed them or traded out your bet when 1 nil up.

      Milesey

  51. tadgh 11 years ago

Its a funny old game, you win some you lose some, my rule is only back what you can afford so never have a frown if my bet don’t come in :-)

    • Milesey 11 years ago

My Rule on the horses is the same as MR F’s on the football, Tip sh*t, then lay low ;) ;) hahahaha joking ;)

      Milesey

  52. RabTheHermit 11 years ago

I watched the second half of the Ural game and it was just bad luck- as happens betting on footy. It looked like it would stay 1:0 all the way with neither keeper tested until that freak free kick from distance. 9 times out of 10 it would end up in the stand.

Might as well jump on the Tomsk bandwagon now. Its a game they should win but they did wobble a bit in the last game I watched them in after crusing for so long. Hopefully they will do the business today.

  53. the chief 11 years ago

Im Focusing my attention on just 2 games today, England U21’s and the friendly between Brazil and Russia at Stamford Bridge. I fancy England to keep their run going and win tonight, and im happy to take Evens on England -1

I mentioned on Thursday about Brazil defensive frailties and it was shown again, thats why Im taking both teams to score. Neymar didnt get on the scoreheet on thursday but I expect him to net tonight, Im playing it a bit safe and taking the anytime odds of 5/4.For russia try Roman Shirokov anytime, the Zenit player has scored 3 in his last 3 and odds of 4/1 look good to me . Finally I went 2-2 in the Italy game and I can see a similair score tonight and again it pays 16/1.

    TOP DOUBLE

    England U21’s -1
    Brazil VS Russia btts

BET NEYMAR to score anytime 5/4
BET SHIROKOV to score anytime 4/1

    BONKERS BET

    Brazil 2 Russia 2

Good luck if your having a bet

  54. John 11 years ago

Had Ural v Rotor at 11/10 for Over 1.5 goals, hoping this Tomsk game has goals too

  55. robert miller 11 years ago

if we are generalising Scotland i don,t know whether horse racing in Scotland is more popular than football in scotland????????

      Milesey

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Milesey, that was a dafter question than yours about Scottish football. Anyway you might get Scottish football your way soon. Don’t know if you saw the Record or Mirror today by Rangers owner says two English clubs want Gers to take them over and wipe out their debt.

    • Milesey 11 years ago

HAHAHA, yes i read it, think that man is off his tits to be honest ” I would imagine that within 5 years, this guy will have been committed anyway. Every time he opens his mouth he embarrasses himself. A few weeks ago he was talking about joining belgian, dutch and american leagues. • DM 11 years ago

      awful day today

  73. Andy 11 years ago

Lowestoft Town in the Isthmian League.Playing tonight against Kingstonian.

They are currently priced around 5/4 and that is very decent price for a team who are unbeaten since November. That includes 7 away games without defeat.Playing Kingstonian who have lost 5 of the last 6 games. Did pick up a win at the weekend but that was against a side down near the bottom of the table.

5/4 is not bad for them considering they’ve been on this unbeaten run for the past few months.

  74. Willie McGuire 11 years ago

TAM TAMSK look like theyll be defeated today….

If those condition were here, the game would be abandoned but thats the Russians for ye.. :o(

  81. Guido 11 years ago

Sean, I think fishing is by far the most participatory “sport/pastime” in the country. Dare say u cood say walking was the most popular activity as 99.999 of folk have to do it to varying degrees :-)

  82. david 11 years ago

lowesoft, chelmsfor & russia to win and zaha to score 1st and england to win -1

  83. tadgh 11 years ago

lol Tadgh a tip just for you mate Norrkoping to beat Jonkoping in a Swedish friendly match @ 11/10

good luck trying to find me in a state 12 times the size of the United Kingdom

  84. tadgh 11 years ago

People now suggesting Lowestoft lol, we sound so desperate lol

    • robert miller 11 years ago

betting on Swedish friendly matches on a Monday at tea time????

fudgin eck, how desperate are we gettin now!!!!!!

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

tadgh, it’s funny last week all these teams we didn’t know much about were great because they were winning. Today everyone hates them. It just proves football betting is volatile whatever league you look at. I did small stakes on Ural and Tomsk because I don’t know enough about them to go in big even though form and stats suggested they’d both win. My main bets tonight are Scotland U-21s -1, England U-21s and Belgium and I’ve done some doubles on such things Scotland HT and England -1.

  85. Milesey 11 years ago

Not for me, going to do alittle inplay later while i watch Brazil V Russia, will start with backing russia and see how the game goes. and also Back Over 2.5 Goals @ 1.55 in Belgium U21 v Cyprus U21.

    Milesey

  86. tadgh 11 years ago

      Milesey

Walking (ooh..did I spell that correctly? ;-) )sometimes a fair alternative compared to some of the growlers out!! ;-)

  87. tadgh 11 years ago

Russia sound like a decent shout, its cold, there solid and Brazil are frail at the back,

  88. tadgh 11 years ago

Is it a solid tip Danny lol Im easily swayed lol

    • Danny 11 years ago

I wreckon they should beat them not to sure its on but was looking back at prices and lot of bookies has the prices scored out not sure if that means its postponed or not

  89. Seamus 11 years ago

    Tadgh to Danny

I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. If you are looking to tip lower league teams, then I can tell you I don’t have money to tip these leagues anymore. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you stop tipping these lower league teams, that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you continue to do so I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.

    HAHA

  90. tadgh 11 years ago

Lol Seamus, I know Mr f I’m only messing, I did say we had the highs of em winning last week and now the lows this week, all I know is Im not going near em no more, going back to my singles and doubles on teams I’ve actually heard of :-)

  91. David brown 11 years ago

Milesey wrong again on football , stick to horses eh

    • Milesey 11 years ago

hahahaha, nice one ” TOP JOKEY “, was right last night with a nice two lumped on singles, and DERREN BROWN never seen a tip from you on this site ? are you gunner in disguise ?

      Milesey

  92. Seamus 11 years ago

Good luck with Danny’s Swedish tip

  93. Badham 11 years ago

Is the Brazil game on tv again tonight? And Paul, why has the over 2.5 goals come down from your top tips are you less sure of it now?

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Badham, it hasn’t really come down. It’s still in the copy but last night I put up some recommendations and said I would finalise the tips this morning. To be honest not much difference between over 2.5 goals and btts but because they’re the same price 1-1 will get the btts up but not the over 2.5.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

      Badham, sorry game’s on ITV4.

  94. tadgh 11 years ago

Wasn’t taking the Swedish tip Seamus, you been on the liquor?

Gone Italy u21, Holland u21 and Spain u21, also Scotland -1 England andbelgium

  95. Bingo 11 years ago

    England U21’s -1 at evens looks a great bet. I’ve added Scotland U21’s -2 and Belgium U21’s -1. £15 on for £90 potential return…

  96. Seamus 11 years ago

Good luck with that. A was going to have a bet but decided against. Nothing I find that appealing. Wait and see tomorrow or wait to the weekend.

    Good luck all

Russia draw no bet at 10/3…sure if a ordinarly 2nd rate team like Engerlund can beat Brazil, Russia can. I guess it depend what Russia turns up..the one that blew awy the opposition in firsy match at the Euros/looked invincible or the team that tamely went out in the 3rd match. Anyhow, Brazil are overrated irrespective of tonites result..Kaka, Roanldinho..past it/dead wood…never hack it at next years WC against Spain and the like eg

Milesey seems like you have a chip on your shoulder about Scottish football. All I read from you is dig after dig at our game. Maybe you should concentrate on the state of your own national game and pub team who seem too get slaughtered week after week

    • Milesey 11 years ago

HAHAHAHA, obviously don’t know your history on stevenage for we have only been around since 1980, so we are doing well for a team who only averages around 2 and a thousand fans at home… we aren’t a big club, but looks like we get on sky sports alot more then teams in the lower leagues of scottish football do….. scottish football is sh*t, and that is a simple fact, it don’t get on tele for no one wants to watch the rubbish, i have no chip on my shoulder at all, just do not bet on it and not interested in watching the rubbish and that is a simple fact, and don’t care about taking the flack on here from what is a jock site anyway.

Widna think the majority of Scottish fitba any worse than a lot of dross in the English leagues Milesey. just becos Sky telly thro money at the top clubs and bum it up to death to safeguard their jobs dunt make it anything special. The national team are no hopers…rattling on after a “great” 8-0 win against San Marino?…christ. Id doubt if they’ll beat Montenegro 2moro…and a nation they are a lot younger than Stevenage FC. ;-)

  114. tadgh 11 years ago

    Russia looking lively!

  115. tadgh 11 years ago

Hopefully make up for urinal and Tomsk :-)

    • Danny 11 years ago

Tadgh the score line answers your question mate I would never put up something I thought was going to lose and more importantly lose any punter that followed it there money daft sense of humour yes deliberately tipping a wrong team NAE CHANCE

  116. Mr H 11 years ago

A jock site? That you lowering the tone then and using derogatory terms too describe a Scotsman. Expect nothing more from a lad from a country full of yobs who have disgraced their country the world over

    • Milesey 11 years ago

The computer slang meanings are derived from the athletic slang meanings. The athletic slang meanings in turn date from the middle 20th century and are simple abbreviations of jockstrap, which is in turn derived from the older slang meaning of jock itself, which dates from the 17th century, and whose etymology is unknown.

  117. tadgh 11 years ago

Danny that wasn’t aimed at you mate, I said it before I don’t mind if my bets lose, that’s just the way the cookie crumbles :-)

    • Danny 11 years ago

I know It wasn’t aimed at me mate I just thought I wonder when he said is it a solid tip does he think Im being serious or joking about

  118. Mr H 11 years ago

Where and when have I denied Scottish football is at a poor level? I think you will find that I haven’t done so at all on these pages but when I read your drivel every other day highlighting it then I feel the need too respond. Your jock comment just shows you up as a typical Englishman, big mouth and always like too hear his own voice. No wonder half the world can’t stand your lot

    • Milesey 11 years ago

I actually think this sums you up to a t to be honest with you…………

Similar words that may mean the same as jock include meathead, musclebrain, and musclehead. These terms are based on the stereotype that a jock is muscular, but not very smart, and cannot carry a conversation on any topic other than one relating to sports.

” not very smart ” ” can only carry a conversation relating to sport ” If you knew the true facts of what kind of money is actually gambled on scottish football you may see too that alot of people couldn’t give two hoots about it, not just me !

      Milesey

  119. Jonathan 11 years ago

Was starting to respect u milesey and your tips, but lowering the tone by slagging of scot football is low. Thought this was a tipping site. Get back to it. Not exactly been great for u on the footie market today. With your Tomsk tip. We’re happy to slag everyone who bet on ural.

milesey,I followed all the races today at lingfield worked great Gonna try for real 2mrw!…I picked one horse in each race bar 1 race and all of them would have gave me a profit.(0.5,1.0,0.17,1.0,0.3,0.1 odds change)If i backed them last night and layed them just before they ran.I noticed when i back something at 7 and lay at 6 the profit margin is smaller than when i back something at around 2.9 and lay at 1.9, why is this?

    • Milesey 11 years ago

because you are laying too high, a 6.0 Lay isn’t bad if you have backed something at over 10.0 but when only one point it’s not profitable over a long period, if you back at 20.0 and it comes into 8.0 then thats what you are looking for.

I’ll treat your comments with the contempt they deserve. Your a grade A fanny. I’d like too see if you were so forthright with your opinions in

  122. tadgh 11 years ago

O I see says the blind man, I thought you was messing to be honest :-) I’ve followed a few of your tips over the last month and won, so I’m sure I’ll be following a few more :-)

    • Danny 11 years ago

lol good stuff heres hoping you win more on any tips that may take your fancy at a later date

  123. Mr H 11 years ago

Not very smart lol that’s right I forgot you gave up your law degree too study horses for a living. Neigh bother Mr Ed

    • Milesey 11 years ago

I don’t have a law degree actually, your close but not quite there ;) ;)

      Milesey

  124. Jonathan 11 years ago

Agree mr H. Why doesn’t millesy take his tips and his arrogant English self and do one! Shown himself up to be the fanny that he is. Agnorance. It must be great having sky pump money into English football. Wasn’t so long ago English footie was nothing.

    • Milesey 11 years ago

ENGLISH Football was nothing hahahaha, another joker !

      Milesey

  125. tadgh 11 years ago

Lads this kind of talk willjust put people off the site, tthey bare tips people put up, you don’t have to take them, if you do and they don’t come in that’s your own fault, simple! Let’s stick to the tipping and leave the handbags for the ladies :-)

  126. tadgh 11 years ago

    Cheers Danny :-)

  127. Mr H 11 years ago

Serious Milesey I respect your horse knowledge and your tips but your opinions on anything other than gambling are a lot of bollox. Your just highlighting why England is now hated in every corner of the world. Self obsessed and arrogant

  128. tadgh 11 years ago

    They are* not bare lol

  129. Seamus 11 years ago

Lads mileseys a knob but just learn to ignore him. He’s the common dominator for rubbing people up the wrong way all the time.

Just learn to ignore his arrogance, the I AM attitude etc.

But your not far Wong mr H, he is a grade A fanny

Quite good stats them for a land of Sweaty’s numbering 4-5 million

    • Guido 11 years ago

Just over 5M 1plus2…11 times smaller a population than our counterparts

    • 1plus2 11 years ago

Thats y i said they were good stats Guido

  130. Mr H 11 years ago

Tadgh I’m just defending my country and this knob spouts derogatory shit day in and day out. But Keyboard Capone gets away with it because he is the sites horse racing tipster

  131. Guido 11 years ago

Pretty pointless all this “jock” n baiting of our lesser cousins over the border ;-) What cant be denied about English fitba ifs the amount of great Scots both players and managers for decades have helped raise the level and give its clubs relative success in Europe in 60’s thru the 90’s..Liverpool, Arsenal, MU – there’s no doubting that. The last 10 years when they money’s getting chucked at it has attracted better quality techical players than we, as the UK goes, tend to produce – that has helped, but not all have stamped their mark on it. If I was a club looking for a manager, you’d do a lot worse than get a Scot in charge, they’ve proven this year after year. A good team is made up of many facets…Milesey…any Scots in Stevanage team,, a new Scotish manager will boot their under performing arses/get them inta the right frame of mind…its worked for loads of bigger clubs.

    • Milesey 11 years ago

Uruguay success is amplified by the fact that the nation has a very small population of around 3.25 million inhabitants , so whats scotlands excuse now then ?

      Milesey

    • 1plus2 11 years ago

      Buckfast springs 2 mind ;-)

  132. Milesey 11 years ago

Makesure you vote ” YES ” then and do one !

    Milesey

  133. Mr H 11 years ago

Guido lesser cousins? Another arrogant comment

    • Milesey 11 years ago

hahaha GUIDO is scottish lol, don’t pick fights with your own…..;)

      Milesey

    • Guido 11 years ago

Hahaha…yes I’m from North of the border Mr H as Milesey has correctly pointed out. I’m not into the baiting of out frineds from other parts of the UK…we are all Gods childen :-)…just pointing oot a few facts, Suppose it ther 5 m or f us it makes us more “special” :-) Uruaguay won WC in 1930 n 1950 Milsey..think it was invitational in 1930 and a handul of teams played..if we’d been invited I dare say we wida had a good chance after the Wembley Wizzards demolished yas 5-1 in 1928??..musta been best team in the world at that time :-)

    • Milesey 11 years ago

My only point is scottish football is sh*t and i dont bet on it….. and thats it, thats my opinion and i’ll stick by that, and if you think english football isn’t all that etc… etc… then don’t waste your money gambling on english teams it’s simple, but it’s easier to make money betting on man utd then teams like Rangers who disappointed again at the weekend, and the other weekend it was celtic….. and that is the simple reason i do not bet on it, nor can i watch it for it bores me…. and the sky ratings for a scottish game on a weekend has gone right down for all that people want to watch is a celtic v rangers game, nothing else interests people.

      Milesey

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Milesey, it’s just as easy to tip a Scottish game as it is an English one, maybe easier. It’s not all about standards, you need to know a bit about form, team news etc.

  134. Mr H 11 years ago

I will Milesey and I’ll do it with pride. Get rid of the ‘British’ tag that weighs heavy around our necks. An empire that raped, pillaged and murdered their way across the globe but now clings onto little corners of the world now that the empire has crumbled

  135. 1plus2 11 years ago

Mr H dun get yer sporran in a twist i am proud to be a Sweaty as equally proud to be British remember the old saying Sticks n Stones etc etc etc

  136. Mr H 11 years ago

Did I state he wasn’t Scottish

  137. Mr H 11 years ago

Why would you be proud to be British? A murderous empire that’s rotten too the core. A sectarian empire ruled by an inbred monarchy. I’m embarrassed too be British and the sooner independence comes the better

    • Milesey 11 years ago

Uruguay success is amplified by the fact that the nation has a very small population of around 3.25 million inhabitants , so whats scotlands excuse now then ?

      Answer the question ?

  138. Badham 11 years ago

Didn’t know a betting site could turn into a history lesson ha … How’s everyone’s bets going tonight?

    • Milesey 11 years ago

      going well England u21 ht/ft, and russia win/draw ;)

      Milesey

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Milesey, and Scots Under-21s got their opener against Luxembourg just in time.

    • Milesey 11 years ago

I’m on England U21’S 2-0 now, hope Russia can get a goal to make this game abit easier to watch, only need the draw or a russia win to go with my england u21 ht/ft.

      Milesey

  139. 1plus2 11 years ago

Dunno y u keep referring to sectarian shite i can only think of 1 reason but i will remain silent on your reasons.

Great Britain had the greatest Empire the world has ever seen surely that’s summin 2 be proud of and Scotland added to that greatness along with the other nations.

    • Guido 11 years ago

Well said 1plus2.. My chest is puffing up with pride here like a show pigeon :-) We’ve all contributed to this great country of ours..Scots English Welsh and Irish even Seans relations I’m sure have helped!! :-) Only joking Sean :-) Think we Scots have contributed the most tho in fairness ;-) D we have any taffs on the site??

  140. Mr H 11 years ago

Keyboard Capone it would seem that Uruguays population is some 47m less than England’s and they have won the same amount of World Cups. Why haven’t yous won more than one?

  141. Jonathan 11 years ago

Swings and round abouts milesey. What’s England’s excuse when they lose to the likes of Sweden? Population 9 mill. England haven’t exactly set the world stage alight. Bar 1966.

  142. Kim Jong S 11 years ago

Nice one Andy with Lowestoft, 1-0 up and Kingstonian down to 10 men.

    I backed it @ 11/10.

Hope I’m not tempting fate ;).

  143. john biy 11 years ago

But how often are you likely to find them massive margins? .5 is good enough to get me 18euro on a 50euro stake,a full 1.0 could get 25euro using a 50euro stake, whats wrong with that? and if it goes the other way .3 would only lose me 5euro if i make that my stop loss there has to be a profit using this, with the high chance of the odds rarely going against me!?

    • Milesey 11 years ago

Today you could have layed every fac under 2.0 and would have made a massive profit for not one of them won, but you do find big changes but you need to know exactly where the money is coming what is easy when working within the industry, i have known people that won’t put through the big 50k bet on the phone till they have put a back in at the higher price for the 50k is going to send the price down… but your right, as long as your making a profit nothing wrong in doing what your doing, keep your stakes low to start with, make a profit over say a month, then raise your stakes and of cause you will make more.

      Milesey

  144. Mr H 11 years ago

1plus2 that’s because it is a sectarian empire. Why else wouldn’t they allow a person too be PM or sit on the throne because of their religion?

Greatest empire hahaha we have killed more people and plundered more lands than Hitler too build that empire. So what’s too be proud of?

    • 1plus2 11 years ago

Now u refer to Hitler ffs ur 1 sick puppy sonny just a thot here but if it wasn’t for Great Britain along with our allies your friend Hitler would have probably done away with you as a religious zealot as he wasn’t 2 big on the old tolerance of creeds and religions, and it would be quite possible we would be a very totally different nation if we as a Nation didn’t stand up to such Dictators.

So as a nation Great Britain deserves a few plaudits on making the world on the whole a pretty free safe place as well, instead of selective picking the bad points of your rant about Great Britain.

  145. Mr H 11 years ago

Right enough of that shut for me,it’s boring and I’ve made my point towards the culprit of derogatory remarks.

    Milesey who’s your nap tomorrow?

    • Milesey 11 years ago

Patriotic pop pride has been well and truly dented over recent Eurovisions. Recent United Kingdom entrants have been nothing short of disastrous and while Engelbert Humperdinck’s entrance last year wasn’t quite a Jemini shaped disaster; his disappointing 12 point haul hardly set Europe on fire either.

Once again this year the United Kingdom has turned to a veteran performer in order to perk up our hopes. But is husky-voiced Welsh popster Bonnie Tyler the hero we’ve been holding out for, or is her entrance little more than another Fools Lullaby?

The first thing to point out is that Tyler is not another Humperdinck. You can obviously tell that just be looking at her, but unlike Engelbert the Welsh singer’s best days aren’t quite so far behind her. In fact from what we’ve seen so far, the 61-year-old still has the pipes and the stage presence to mix it with Europe’s best. She’s also, unlike the country she’s representing, still popular on the continent where not so long ago she was topping European charts.

Then there’s the song. ‘Believe In Me’ is classic Euro-bait, an uplifting rock ballad with a hearty chorus. Ballads of course tend to do well with both jurors and televoters alike. In fact, both Iceland in 2009 and Estonia last year have placed well with similar-ish efforts; so can Tyler achieve similar success?

The answer sadly is probably not. There are already plenty of better ballads that have been entered into this year’s finals, many of which performed by female vocalists who are altogether more memorable than our Bonnie.

Then there’s the problem of Britain’s lack of voting allies. The old mantra that it’s who you know not what you know rings particular true for Eurovision, which is littered with partisan voting from geographical and political allies who are all but guaranteed to award douze-points to their voting partners.

It’s an idea that explains why Balkan and other Eastern European countries tend do so well, providing seven of the last 12 competition winners. And an idea that all but insures that aside from the intervention of Malta and Ireland we’d be lucky to walk home with double figures by the end of the night.

At 32.0 in Betfair‘s Eurovision 2013 Winner market it’s hard to believe that Tyler’s ‘Believe In Me’ could walk away as an eventual winner come May 18th. However patriotic punters determined to put their money where their mouths are might find more value in the Top 10 market, an altogether more plausible achievement where 3.7 looks like a much better bet considering the sway the 80’s icon still commands on the continent.

    • Guido 11 years ago

Wid ya have a go on old Bonnie Milesey?… ;-)wee bit past her sell by..voice lika freshly sandpapered Scots Guard sergeant majors goolies!!

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Guido, pretty sure we’ll vote no but sure if we vote yes we’ll have charge anyone who doesn’t declare undying love for Scots and Scottish football.

    • Guido 11 years ago

Glad you clarified that Paul… ;-) USSR have taken the lead :-) er I mean Russia :-)

  148. Danny 11 years ago

    • Danny 11 years ago

lol id be sending the birth certificate away pronto would be pointless even having the internet if this site wasn’t here would be interesting to see individual commenters and how often they have visited

  149. Daniel 11 years ago

Does anyone else strongly fancy this New Caledonia team 2moro at 7.00. Jst cme in to 4/6, last timed dey played Tahiti dey beat dem 4nil in Tahiti

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Daniel, sound like Scotland’s reserves to be honest. All I know about them is they were beaten 2-1 by New Zealand at the weekend and always give them a decent game. If that’s the standard they should beat Tahiti.

  150. Mr H 11 years ago

Fancying a draw in Montenegro Guido, don’t see a clear winner so I’ll sit on the fence :)

    • Guido 11 years ago

;-) ya cood well be right with the draw Mr H

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Badham, I could do with one but all my U-21 bets going well and even Watt’s scored for Scotland. Here comes the double!

  158. Mr H 11 years ago

1plus2 my friend Hitler? Wind yer neck in Hector and stop selecting your points on Grest Britain based on standing up to Hitler and defeating him. I wear a poppy every year and lost family on both wars so what the hell are you blabbing about.

As I said earlier I’m finished with that convo

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Mr H, OK guys, it’s a tipping site remember. Let’s get back to that topic.

    • 1plus2 11 years ago

Ok last word on the matter then well shame on you if you have lost family due to them serving Great Britain u certainly show a lack of respect to your family then with your rants about the Country which your family fought to preserve peace and gave the ultimate sacrefice in doing so.

  159. Mr H 11 years ago

Mr F I’ve stated twice now that the convo is over!!!

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Mr H, the comment was directed at everyone.

  160. Mr H 11 years ago

Guido a bore 0-0 wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest and I’d be surprised if Scotland didn’t lose by at least 2. With no Fletcher and Snodgrass available it looks like Miller who’s over the hill and not got the pace his game was based on and Adam who is decent until he starts thinking he’s got Alonso’s abity too ping 50yd passes all over. I fear the worst for Scotland tomorrow ;)

  161. Mr H 11 years ago

1plus2 it’s the UK not North Korea and I’m entitled too an opinion and that’s my final comment on the matter

    • Milesey 11 years ago

Mr F doesn’t come from North Korea does he ?

      Milesey

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

      Milesey, that’s just a rumour.

    • Guido 11 years ago

No Milesey, Mr Fs from Clydebank…cvan understand yer confusion tho coz there are great similarities to Phnom Phen, desolate, miserable, freezing cold in winter etc only diffence is they eat fried rats in Phnom Phen but raw in Clydebank I believe? :-)

    • 1plus2 11 years ago

      Nice 1 Guido lol

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Guido, Clydebank’s possibly the greatest place on earth. Not Phnom Phen but phenonemal.

    • 1plus2 11 years ago

Mr H i appreciate your right to comment m8 but as you said in your final statement this is the UK ie GB and not North Korea so that says it all really if you really think about it.

Be thankful u are not living in a place like North Korea m8 and 1 of the reasons for that is because it’s GB where we are a democratic country due to the sacrefices of it’s people through the years.

  162. Tony 11 years ago

  166. Mr H 11 years ago

Nah Milesey he’s a sweaty sock but looks like Jamie Foreman in specs guvnor

  167. Badham 11 years ago

Cheers for the persuasion earlier Paul great odds for btts. Left it so late but that always feels better!

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Badham, it was close but after Ural and Tomsk I’ve ended up having a great night. Everything up in U-21s and Fred strike just in time. As I said earlier if btts and over 2.5 price is same take btts because you get the benefit of 1-1 in a tight game.

  168. Badham 11 years ago

Anyone watching the England U21 game? How’s my no to btts looking?

    • Milesey 11 years ago

Should be an easy England win to nil, not sure how many that is now, maybe MR F from North Korea can help me out, is it 7 games now for England Under 21’s without conceding ?

      Milesey

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Milesey, don’t think they’ve played Scotland in that run though. Anyway you guys always do well then bomb in the finals.

    • Milesey 11 years ago

…….but we get to the finals, saying that north korea might go well again in the next world cup, bet your looking forward to that ;) ;)

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Milesey, give us 10 years and we’ll be back.

  169. Mr H 11 years ago

Guido I can’t stand whiskey either but I’d rather have a grey goose than Smirnoff ;) or a ice cold remnants and a tonic chaser

    • Guido 11 years ago

Yes Mr H…nice grey goose wid be appreciated also. Choked with the cold/heid burstin tho..no in the mood tonite!! ;-(

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Guido, just finishing a few bits and pieces then opening a can of Jack and coke which I found tucked away at the back of the fridge earlier.

    • 1plus2 11 years ago

      O M G it gets worse lol

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

1plus2, over the years I’ve tried to drink Scotch but can’t. It kills me but I feel a bit guilty and every so often have another go. I’m sure in older age I’ll enjoy it but for now it’s I doff my hat to Jack Daniels and Captain Morgan.

    • 1plus2 11 years ago

Mr F wat u mean IN old age !!! i heard you have yer bus pass lol and i would suggest getting a proper good malt down yer neck and you wouldn’t need Captain (shiver me timbers) Morgan.

    • 1plus2 11 years ago

Mr F is you surname of Indian origin just reading a bit about it now can’t decide if it’s a name based on a religion Jainism or it’s of Hindu origin.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

1plus2, loads of Jains in Clydebank, pretty sure that's where it originates. Are you saying they've named a religion after me coz I got a few results right?

    • 1plus2 11 years ago

Well Mr F i believe the Hindus have a few trinkets that they have as good luck charms so if you have any of these charms m8 feel free to send me 1 or 2 so i can get my Quest in credit for a change ;-)

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

1plus2, I’ve got tankards but no trinkets.

    • Milesey 11 years ago

traditionally known as Jaina dharma, is an Indian religion that prescribes a path of non-violence towards all living beings.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Milesey, that’s me ruled out especially if we ever meet up, maybe if Stevenage come up here pre-season.

    • 1plus2 11 years ago

You cannot be a proper Scotsman and not like the Nectar of the Gods philistine ;-)

    • Guido 11 years ago

1pus2..I am, and dont!!…don’t worry tho, ma faither well in his 70s drinks my share and more on my behalf on a more than regular basis…insides must be made of stainless steel/miracle of science. In fact, Im gonna donate his innards for transplant when he goes..think some sod get another good 50 years use oota them!! ;-)

Late overs bets on the Brazil game saved most of my losses today. The fact that I am continually having to rescue what I can in play says a lot about how my betting is going at the moment. Still its ups and downs. Looking forward to the qualifiers tomorrow.

Has to be dun mate. Corrie is good the now. The rovers has been torched. Prob just pay him a visit for a few hours. Will put sky sports news on for full time scores coming in. The euromillions would be nice. Where could a get ma ticket a have a theory that posh areas usually get the winning tickets. Heard a few people have won big from east kilbride

    • Danny 11 years ago

HAHA that’s a mad theory to have its a lottery anyone anywhere can win it but if you think that its posh areas then get in the motor and head to some of them for tickets lol

How anyone can be proud to be governed and dictated to by that shower currently residing in downing street is beyond me and no im not having a go at Britain before anyone says it, just those tory boys.

“”The Daily Record’s Mr Fixit, alias Paul Jain, is the man with his eyes on the odds. You can’t afford to miss his football betting news and tips.””

    Byline: Paul Jain

WILL they or won’t they that is the dilemma facing punters deliberating on a bet on tonight’s Sweden Denmark clash.

If the two Nordic nations draw 2-2 or higher they will both reach the last eight no matter what happens in the other Group C clash between Italy and Bulgaria.

The Swedes and Danes say fair play will ensure and point out that a2-2draw is a difficult result to play for.

However, bookies are taking no chances and a scoreline which normally pays 14-1 has been cut to 5-1bysome firms.

The draw price is favourite for the match with Premierbet offering just 5-4 and the best on offer is 11-8 from Bet365.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Milesey, where did you dig that one out from? I was in short pants back in 2004.

    • Milesey 11 years ago

Just something i was looking at a minute go, i put in tips for the denmark game tomorrow and that came up, and i remember it, wanted tips on Denmark v Bulgaria, both had good wins last time out, yes bulgaria to lesser opposition in malta.

Milesey, amazing what you can find. Denmark look a good bet after great result on Friday when The Dane wrote them off. They’re in my Record top treble so will probably have them in somewhere tomorrow.

    • Guido 11 years ago

hahaha..yeah and despite the difficulty of getting a 2-2 draw they succeeded Milesey!! when was that?..2004/2008??

    • Milesey 11 years ago

2004 i believe, do you remember it then Guido ?

    • Guido 11 years ago

yes I do..I also recall Trappatoni going nuts over the 2-2 cos it eliminated Italy. Think he himself was eliminated from the job shortly afterwards!!! I’ve always backed Italy in the WC n EC finals..they usually always give you a run for yer monay…fir time I seriously backed them was in EC in 1988…shooda won WC in 1990. Most Ive won on a “single” bet was in 2006..I was punting 5ers/10ers on for couple months b4 finals some at 9/1 some at 10/1….haha the penalties were shall we say a nervous time that night..similar in 1994 but with not quite the same winnings at stake but it was 12 years earlier so inflation a similar strategy/punt in the weeks n months before in 1994 as well.

Looking at tomorrows international coupon, there is no way in my opinion Portugal should be 1-4 away to Azerbajan a cold inhospitable place to be playing football. Azerbajan are a decent defensive team and Portugal are struggling.I,m on at $-1 for the draw. Also the dutch league is interesting .3 points seperating 4 teams. don,t know what people think. but feyenoord are 5-1 to win the title and have one of the easyist last 6 fixtures?

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

Steve, not looked at Dutch outrights recently but that’s interesting. Agree with you about Portugal, don’t wan them at that price.

  180. Tony 11 years ago

Jainism is a religious minority with about 4.2 million followers, and has adherents in immigrant communities troughout the West, Middle East, Africa and in areas of Clydebank. :-)
Ya sure ya don’t mean lots of Jains in chins Paul??

  185. the chief 11 years ago

Mr F, have u looked at tomoz qualifiers yet I’m looking at Serbia and Croatia as my top double trying to find some value as big nations are hugely odds on. France are interesting they could go 5 points clear of Spain with a win but I suspect they would be more than happy with a draw.

    • Mr Fixit 11 years ago

The Chief, I’ve put up a taster but won’t finalise picks until the morning.

  186. Seamus 11 years ago
