Unfortunately yesterday's selections were poor, with Darebin running one of his bad races where he bumped into a couple of progressive younger horses. Kamaxos looks in need of a drop back in trip, on a flatter track, as he travelled well but didn't have the stamina on a stiff track like Sandown.

The jumps racing today is one of the worst I've seen in a long time, hence why I am only putting up one selection, coming in at short odds. ELEANOR BOB is currently priced up at slightly bigger than EVS, and in a four runner race against a horse she has already beat, I think they are decent odds.
She beat the second favourite, Miss Jeanne Moon, last time out at Huntingdon by 4L. The weight difference this time around is much larger in the favour of the runner-up, but the winning margin at Huntingdon last time out could've been a lot bigger than just the 4L, which is why I think the hike in the weights is definitely doable for the favourite. She is a progressive mare, who has taken to chasing very well, and is in the right yard of Venetia Williams. Venetia has been in incredible form all year round, and Charlie Deutsch is a cracking jockey, especially on chasers, as he manages to his mounts into a great rhythm from the front, and this horse is another who is utilised from the front, so I'd expect nothing different today.
This is a new trip for her, but it shouldn't be an issue based on the fact she stays 3m on soft ground very well. She seems best on soft ground, so the Good To Soft ground isn't ideal, but she has more than enough class to deal with not optimal conditions to beat this field. Legends Ryde has jumped poorly on the last few occasions, and even though she was in front of the selection a couple of runs ago, Eleanor Bob jumped the 3rd from home all wrong, and that put the race to bed for her. She has progressed since, and looks a better jumper, and could be a tough nut to crack from the front.

crossed my mind especially after looking at the form. rival big step up in trip, no real form over 3m, but it is such a short price, i think the smart money is on it and although race is off now, i’d probably say the favourite by 5-10 lengths :p
530 – AROUSING 5/2 stab with micro stakes only (probably is just touched off)
MELLYS FLYER is on the up, unexposed and progressing nicely, on a hatrick 5 above it’s last win. It could easily shoot clear, the trainer isn’t even using a claimer in an apprentice race so maybe they’re really confident? In form horses are typically better to follow than one with some form from a year ago, but I don’t see any reason to back it at 15/8, which makes backing AROUSING at 5/2 pretty silly but we are adjusting stakes to ones we don’t mind losing. The claimer has only won at this venue, he puts the horse 5 below his last win and the drop back to 6f is very promising given only 1 horse has beaten us in 3 races, we’ve beaten a Class 1 winner and horses rater 90+ so I don’t mind chancing albeit with a very niggly doubt.
I like to keep the bookies in business, I respect Cole/Tabti but my EW stab is on ENDURING. 3rd lto off 5 higher , 2.2 for top 3 is pretty skinny but all being well we look nailed on for top 4, so it’s up to you, EW is 2 places only and a bit risky.
drinkwater and haynes were at it again today, mentioned this couple days ago. esterby 3/4 too. just a nod to keep up with the winners, trainer and jockey. check results, learn who wins together, and use sportinglife if on a pc, ctrl+click each horse in the race card to get it on it’s own tab, compare race history with what it’s up against today and you wont go far wrong. sometimes it’ll be too close to call, so you move on, other times you’ll easily be able to lay an even money fav. just random obvious advice to any budding tipster before cheltenham.
that’s all i do and over the course of a year, i cannot lose, i don’t even watch race replays (although video analysis can be utilised very effectively to the right eyes ofc) .. i just built up some knowledge and cross section it with paper form and 2nd guessing the bookmakers. BOL to ya.
