It's been a while since I've posted anything on the thread. I expected I'd be a little more active with it being flat season but I haven't got involved much since the flat kicked off.
I've only a sole selection from the meeting at Ascot but I think this horse can continue progressing into a nice sort for connections.
Yaanas 15/8 – Ascot 1:30
I highlighted Yaanas after his debut run back in March of this year when he beat my main fancy on debut Roaring Legend quite easily. Roaring Legend who comes from the James Ferguson yard was a horse I had in my tracker since he ran on strongly to finish behind Simon & Ed Crisfords Intricacy who has since progressed. When Yaanas and Roaring Legend came face to face it was pretty much a hand-a-heels job for Jim Crowley who didn't ask the horse too many questions and to win on debut in the nature he did I thought was impressive.
The form is possibly questionable as Roaring Legend hasn't progressed as much as I thought he would. Although there is the argument he's just bumped into one better on each occasion which I think is the case. That being said he's only had a few runs and has since been gelded and not been seen since so I'll definitely be keeping an eye look for Roaring Legend next time out and give him another chance. Yaanas followed up his debut win with another easy success at Kempton where again he only needed a swift shake of the reigns to win cosily in the end. He's still very much unexposed and can take this step up in class in his stride.

15/8 in a 15 runner field with 5 places paid, would’ve been my worry in a field such as this, it’s each way, all day.
Ascot 1-30 Raising Sands 14/1 ew ran a great race two runs back at Doncaster when finishing 4th .Loves this track a takes a drop in class.
Nap of the day is at Gowran Park 4-50 Dutch Gold 9/4 5th lto. C Keane gave him a strange ride that day imo i think he could have won that race .
Trueshan with that run under his belt i think he will just about shade it 10/11

R8…Next 11/10 like the favourite but lacks fitness although that’s usually no problem with most trainers stateside and Wesley Ward should have him primed BUT like Warrant at 12/1 .
Its 3/1 top 2 finish with Bet365 which I don’t have. 🤔

Not great price,much rather got the 15/8 earlier but just seen this horse is out. Beat Ragans Jet last run who came out and won Stakes race next time.
