CONCACAF CUP FINAL: USA v MEXICO

I ONLY called the UEFA Under-21 Championship final half right – but I was spot on with the CONCACAF Gold Cup final.

At the start of the tournament I predicted an America v Mexico showdown and that's what we'll get in Pasadena.

I stuck my neck out and picked the American hosts to win the tournament ahead of favourites Mexico and I'll stand by that call even though the Mexicans have been the more impressive of the sides.

Mexico are 6-4 with bet365 to lift the trophy with USA 15-8 at Chandler. The US have improved in the knockout stages so consider totesport’s 10-11 draw no bet or 1-1 on the US to win outright.

Man United’s Javier Hernandez is the leading scorer and 13-2 with sportingbet to score first. Fulham’s Clint Dempsey has been equally good and is 15-2 at Betfred.
