May 4: Celta Vigo v Man Utd Betting Preview

MAN UNITED boss Jose Mourinho is focusing on a Europa League win and his team should take a step closer to the Final tonight.

Lifting the trophy seals a Champions League group spot and Mourinho’s men are evens favourites at bet365 to do so.

The injuries have been stacking up for United and Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a huge loss as the Swede’s a man for the big occasion. However, Paul Pogba, Eric Bailly and possibly Juan Mata will return. Marouane Fellaini is also available.

This is being billed as Celta Vigo’s biggest game in their history but they are out of form with three league defeats in a row and I can’t see United crashing in Vigo.

Mourinho will be happy to take a draw back to Old Trafford and finish the job off there but he could nick a win.

United are 6-4 at Betfred and 2-5 at Coral not to lose and best bet for a side that’s lost two in 40 is draw no bet at 8-11 with Betfred.

In the absence of Zlatan the onus will be on speedy youngster Marcus Rashford to score and he is 2-1 at Betfred.

Celta’s star man is ex-Liverpool attacker Iago Aspas who is 5-2 at Betfred to hit the target while former on-loan Celt John Guidetti is 16-5 with 888sport. He has eight goals including one in the home quarter-final victory over Genk.

Celta haven’t scored in those four home losses and the market and Mourinho’s tactics suggest a shortage of goals so try under 2.5 at 13-20 with Marathonbet.

Celta have been fielding weak teams since they have nothing to fight for in the league. Their focus was on this game. btts might prove to be the best shout 1-1 Ft result

As far as I’m aware Celta Vigo have only lost 1 game in Europa League against Shakhtar and they have beat the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid this season.
As the passenger mentioned above.. celta have been fielding weak sides in domestic coz even if they won last 3 games they would still be mid table without European Place. United have a lot of their main players out and they dont score many goals. United have conceded in most away games in Europa (even against Rostov ) I reckon Celta Vigo wont lose this at home.

Just back from the golf. I hear what you’re saying.
      Let’s hope we’re both correct and it’s a draw.

Hard to call this one. I see Celta slightly shading it unless MU shut up shop like they did against city.

As it could go either way with a slim win for either and probably end in a draw, I’m going for a couple of RABs

    4+ corners per half -evens
Over 1.5mgs. Over 8.5 corners. Over 24.5 booking points 8/11

    Millwall Bradford United win 12/1

    All small stakes.
