I’VE already stated that I think Liverpool will win tonight but I don’t fancy odds of 1/2 very much. However a brand new offer from Paddy Power has just dropped in to my inbox which makes much more appeal.

Yes, it’s for new customers only, and yes it’s limited to a £10 max stake but getting a boost from 5/4 to 9/1 demands a second look. Paddy Power aren’t slow to grab the headlines but this one has caught my attention for all the right reasons.

They’ll give you 9/1 on Liverpool to win by 2 or more against newly promoted Bournemouth. Whilst I most definitely wouldn’t be interested at a measly 5/4, 9/1 puts a different complexion on things and is a value bet for me.

Not only that but new customers can get a £10 free in-play bet if they bet £20 pre-match.

maccathered, I’m for real unfortunately. I’m not saying the odds are poor – I’m saying I don’t want to back Liverpool at 1-2.

  3. ILoveBetting 2 years ago

Have to wonder why they only enhanced the odds to win by 2 and not just a straight win, poor.

I know its late now. But william hill were doing benteke 6/1 first goal scorer from 3/1….£5 max bet, but loads of takers in my local bookies. All quite happy punters now. Starts the week on a profit/positive note.

Some offer, lots of punters out of pocket on the back of a promotional offer.

ILoveBetting, it was an offer not a tip. Up to you whether you took or not. I shied away from Liverpool but I saw plenty of people backing them to win -1.

ILoveBetting, I know but it was just an offer. I see dozens of offers every day but you’ve got to think the bet will come up and probably half the population would have fancied Liverpool 01.
Decided not to put anything else up tonight – it’s still time of the season to be cautious.
Off to walk the dug then settle down for tonight matches.
