WHEN putting up Thursday's tennis double I warned anything can happen when Nick Kyrgios is on court.
Unfortunately the Aussie bad boy reverted to type and suffered a meltdown as he crashed to a shock French Open defeat to Kevin Anderson – smashing a racket to smitheerens against a fridge in the process. John Isner won but one out of two on a double is no use.
The action continues from Roland Garros today but most of the favourites are extremely short. No bets today but I've picked out a double for Saturday.
World No.1 Andy Murray faces a tough test against Juan del Potro and may even lose. With the Argentine a big underdog I'm on him to win at least one set at about 1-2.
Add another outsider Fabio Fognini to take at least a set off Stan Wawrinka. Fognini is a clay-court expert who has beaten the world's best on this surface during his career. He is inconsistent though but should at least push the Swiss favourite.

Well done on the Blues win this morning. Was watching the match (and had a wee little inplay on Red’s 1st half team points (9.5) which just about won) and it was a close match!
I’ll likely have a dabble on the UFC too; opinions on Aldo and Claudia win? I’d love to see Karolina win but Claudia seems so much more powerful i think Karolina will end up overwhelmed, shell-up and take a beating. As for Aldo, on home turf and wanting to make a point that he is still one of the best in the world, i think odds of 1.6 are generous. If he can beat Edgar, surely he can beat a less-powerful Holloway?
Anyway, be great to hear a fellow supporters opinion. I normally steer clear of betting on UFC; too unpredictable with one punch potentially changing the whole dynamic. normally opt for fights to go the distance/total rounds.
Hey mate. Well done on the Reds points bet. Definitely expected the Blues to win by a lot more but will take the win. Definitely agree on Claudia to win and already have her in a double with Alcantara (Although I see odds have been dropping on Claudia which is a good sign). Been going back and forth on the Aldo/Holloway fight and its so tough to call man. Holloway has been on a tear and odds suggest if this fight was on neutral ground then the bookies wouldn’t be able to separate them. Like you said Aldo is one of the best (with home support) and I think his brutal leg kicks will have an effect on Holloway’s movement. Definitely not big stakes for me but I’m leaning towards Aldo to win via decision 7/4. Yeh you’re totally right man-UFC is probably the toughest sport to bet on but can be really profitable. This will be a sterner test than some might he expecting. NZB have some strong players from Super Rugby and Mitre Premiership. Gatland has named a strong first XV and bench, resting those who took part in the finals last wknd. I’d expect NZB to keep it fairly competitive in the first half, then BIL should be too strong in the 2nd with a formidable bench.
Someone else mentioned the fatigue of the turnaround time between flight an KO and that might mean a sluggish start for the Lions.
