IT was a frustrating day for Johnb with Golden Horn not running and a total of four points lost.

July still shows a profit of 10.98 points and I’m not sure what Johnb could have done to stop the weather from ensuring Golden Horn couldn’t compete.

Phil ,I don’t think it will get your account back unlimited but if you turn some money over in the bookmakers casino now and again when there is no racing or major football on the traders seem to pick up on it and leave you alone longer ,I suppose it’s because with casinos eventually you will lose.

HUE TAYLOR GIVES A VERY GOOD WRITEUP ON JOHNB NAP > KIWAYU very much caught the eye on his debut for Kevin Ryan last time and if he builds on that he should be a major player in the extended 1m3f handicap at Carlisle today (3.50). That first effort for his new yard came over a trip (1m2f) that is very much on the sharp side based on his previous form, and he didn’t get the run of the race either, held up towards the rear in a race not run at a strong gallop, but he made good headway over the final 3f to finish a never-nearer seventh. The step up in trip will suit here and his stable had four winners yesterday, whilst his 7lb claimer has been having a terrific time of late, with 8 winners from 19 rides in the last fortnight. It shouldn’t be a problem if the ground eases as he has form on softish ground and he looks a valid alternative to favourite More Mischief, who has an obvious chance.

  32. Duncan Poundcake 1 year ago

Johnjo stable in good form so wait a second must have a chance but Over the Air may be a bit of value 20/80 GL.

    Hello Gents,
Hope all are well, great tips as normal!

One that stands out to me today is

    2:40 Carlise – Palpitation

-David Brown only ride of the day and he has great form of late
    -Furthest traveller 180 miles YESTERDAY
-Tom Eaves is riding for David Brown this time, great partnership. He has ridden 2 times for him in last 14 days. 13 July Wetherby 8F 1/10 and on 16th July Hamilton 5F 1/7 COULD THIS BE THE TRIO?
-Tom Eaves is on great form
-Great draw bias for carlise 5 furlong low draw 1
-From races so far seems the 6f is too much but 5f well capable
David Brown is great with his 2 year olds, has most amount of prize money for 2 Year olds than 3 year old and 4 year olds +

Obviously encanter also has a good draw in 2 and is very respectable in this race. A Forecast could be worth it!

Good luck all sorry to those that lost out with Golden Horn yesterday, just win it back off them BxxxxxDS

RACEBETS have closed the book on where Golden Horn will stand at stud next season following continued strong support for the National Stud.

The Jockey Club-owned operation opened at 8-1 on Friday night, but within 24 hours had been backed into 4-9.

“We have now suspended betting on the stud location for Golden Horn,” said a RaceBets spokesperson. “Having cut the National Stud to 4-9, the money kept pouring in and having shortened the stud further to 1-3, we continued to lay them.

“When one customer last night sought to have £9,000 on to win £3,000, we closed the book. Money talks and in this case it is clearly saying: call The National Stud if you want a nomination to Golden Horn!”

Lanwades Stud was installed 11-10 favourite at the opening show, with Darley’s Dalham Hall second favourite at 6-4. By Saturday night they had drifted to 9-2 and 5-1.

Golden Horn’s owner-breeder Anthony Oppenheimer has indicated he would like the son of Cape Cross to stand in Newmarket, but said no decision would be made until after the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes. However, Golden Horn was withdrawn from Saturday’s race owing to the ground.

His next target is the Juddmonte International at York.

  66. De Niro 1 year ago

Good day with 6 points profit on the horses with Stardrifter doing the business in the 5-00 and returning 15 points with 9 staked on all selections :-)

Football bet landing easily again & just waiting on J Sousa in the tennis for the double but may well cash that out to guarantee a profit on the double.

    Sports bets not counted in the points however so now;

40 points up for July :-)

  67. Yovan 1 year ago

Weswin, both picks were not good today and couple of ppl, including myself mentioned it. Why is that trolling?

  68. Gee G 1 year ago

Yeah that’s what johnb does George. Writes all the meetings and times of races down on little bits of paper then picks 1,2 or 3 out of his hat. Then writes all the horses down on little bits of paper from those meetings and picks 1,2 or 3 out then just chucks em on this site. Pathetic comment that lad!!

  69. bobo 1 year ago

Hey WESWIN hope that was not aimed at me.

  70. De Niro 1 year ago

Oh and the safety car won also, wasnt my tip/work as I know nowt about F1 – I just followed a few on here :-)

Feeling a rest coming on over the next few days as I am knackered with studying – also will try to up the strike rate considerably for the weeks ahead – maybe more selections between 5/2 – 5/1 rather than the double digits which obviously make a good profit but can give long loosing runs :-) so I hope fo much higher % and get hitting some of them doubles and trixies :-)

Theres 2 at galway that stand out for me at the odds that ive had a punt on.

    5.45 King Of Oriel 16/1
I strongly believe he would have won this race last year but for falling when making his move. His last run was in may when he won at fairyhouse over 1m 2f on soft and it will definately be soft tomorrow. Summer is right!!. He runs this year carrying 3lbs less than last year. PP giving money back if 2nd or 3rd.

    6.50 TED VEALE 13/2
This horse is very well hcapped for this race. In fact i think hes too well hcapped and i cant see his price lasting too long.

Double carpet, i agree with you 100%, two good picks there, going on thurs and Friday so hope to get some of my spends tomorrow!!

  100. double carpet 1 year ago

You wont go too far wrong backing Weld at Galway. I think last year was the first year in a long time that if you placed a quid on every Weld horse you would have had a slight loss (not sure of the actual stats) so that just shows how strong he is there. Having said that i have gone for LOVED to beat HARASAVA but with the conditions the way they are you may have chosen right.

  101. double carpet 1 year ago

fingers crossed. Im hoping to try get down myself at some stage but not sure when. Enjoy
