ON a quiet Monday I took a chance on CSMS Iasi and they brought up a much-needed Super Single win.
The Romanians were my only tip at 11-10 to beat Universitatea Cluj and gave me a 3.55 points profit.
I spent a few hours looking at games I wouldn't normally touch yesterday but that research paid off as I described short-priced Suduva as best bets of the night, advised against Pacos Ferreira and suggested the h2h was against Swiss Challenge League leaders Servette at Wil.
Tuesday's a busier night with three league games in England, six in the Conference Premier, four in the Scottish lower leagues and a full card in the Irish league among others. I had a good look at all the UK games last night and have checked latest team news.
A full preview is on a separate thread while this one will just round up the tips with a brief explanation.
There were several sides on my Super Single shortlist but the one I've decided to go with is Rochdale at Oldham in League Two.
Rochdale boss Keith Hill has no new injury problems as his side chase a third successive victory. Oldham on the other hand have concerns over their two first-choice keepers with on-loan Blackburn man Jake Kean being assessed after missing Saturday's victory over Crewe with a knee injury. Teenager Joel Coleman kept a clean sheet in his absence but injured his calf and is a major doubt so boss Dean Holden may need to make an emergency signing today.
Conor Wilkinson, who netted the winner against Crewe, is away with Republic of Ireland Under-21s and Amari Morgan-Smith, Jacob Mellis, George Elokobi, Joseph Mills, Liam Kelly, Dominic Poleon and James Wilson are all injured.
Dale have won four out of their last five and will climb back into the top six with a win so there's a bit of pressure on but with Oldham losing their last four home games it would be a surprise if the visitors lose but of course it's a derby so that's something to consider.
Rochdale are being tipped everywhere I look and are a best 13-8 with Betfred. To cover the possibility of the draw I'm doing 2pts on Rochdale and four points on Rochdale not to lose (double chance) at 8-15 with bet365.
Reasoning for my Top Treble is on the other thread and I'm going for Sheffield Utd at home to Scunthorpe, Braintree at home to Telford and Falkirk at Cowdenbeath.
There is a separate goals thread but the goals single is both to score at Raith v QoS. It's a must-win game for Raith who trail Queens by 11 points in the play-off chase so I'm sure they'll go for the win.
Queens have won just three on the road but followed a home success against Raith with a 4-1 success over Cowdenbeath and as we know boast quality forwards. They've beaten Raith three times this season with the Kirkcaldy meeting finishing 4-3 in their favour while both have scored in three of the last four meetings at Stark's Park.

Not that I know a lot about Irish football but kept a close eye on proceedings last year. Promoted side Galway head to runners up Cork City tonight who were beaten 2-0 by the league leaders Bohemians in their last away tie. I think I’m right in saying Cork were only beaten once at home last season by eventual champions Dundalk. Gong by stats, Galway conceded in most of their away ties so the step up in competition should be too much for the promoted side. No h2h to go by but I’m going with gut here. Cork beat Limerick 5-0 when last at home with a first half red card for the away side, but they were already 2-0 up in 17 minutes.
My other selection takes us to league two where two sides battling for League One promotion face off in Luton. Luton are on a four game losing streak with Wycombe undefeated in their last 6, winning 3 and drawing 3, scoring 12 goals in the process. The reverse fixture ended 1-1.

The French Nacional, the third division in France, is very unpredictable. As you can see from the table, the top side has lost 6 of its 25 games and the league is akin to the English lower leagues in terms of unpredictability IMO.
Avranches ‘should’ win against the awful Epinal but they have won only half their home games and 1 of their last 5 at home.
Frejus may be better value as although they are also patchy, they have won 3 of their last 5 away including wins at the 1st and 4th place teams. Chambly have lost their last 2 home games.
As I said though Steve, the league is not easy to predict and as you know, the bookies are no fools :)
I may try Frejus at those odds mind.

Hey. Not going against the common perception of BTTS in the Blades match but just a note of caution. Blades fans will tell you they only play to score one and then try and play the rest of the game out. Scunny fans are saying they play for 0-0 and only attack once behind. Doesn’t mean both teams won’t score but it doesn’t scream goals. I’d be on an unders for this match if I fancied it.
Under 3.5 is 1/3; and combined with Rochdale to score for just under evens. That’s all for me this evening.

The Sky game could be full of goals and I certainly hope so as I am on goals tonight. Luton are a different side at home and have scored ten goals in their last five games. Wycombe have scored 54 goals in the league this season 30 coming away from home. They have only failed to score away from home in 3 of their 18 away games. The bookies have got no the favourite in the both teams to score but I think at 11/10 various it is good value.
Another value bet I like is the game to be an overs, again the bookies favour it being an unders but again I am going with the value. Wycombe’s last seven games as seen six of them go over and their last three away games have also gone over. I have already mentioned Luton home scoring form and they have only failed to score once in their last fifteen home games. I will be on O2.5 match goals at 6/4 various.

Been a huge gamble on them Mav since late afternoon. Berwick tend to do well in Methil but East Fife are improving and goals are a safer bet I reckon.

Jordan, Hearts policy is to allow younger players to go on loan to gain experience and match time. Jason Holt is a very decent player but is just not needed regularly for our first team so Sheff Utd have him for the rest of the season and if they like him we will sell him.

Qos have done me over today needed them for £110 profit correct me if om wrong but im sure its been almost a year since raith beat them
oli, it was always going to be a tough game but Queens have beaten them three times this season. Surprised they didn’t score though.
i expected them to be too strong 3 nil is a shock though. im having a bad week staying away from football till fri/sat
oli, last 4 meetings at Raith have been 3-4 3-2 2-1 3-1, now in my opinion that shows a tendency towards goals and Raith being favoured by them. QOS are a reasonable side but match and Raith goals are something that is proven and may have been worth looking at mate. Over 2.5 match goals has come up in 11 of Raiths last 13 games.

Unlucky tonight Mr F. Unfortunate with the Wycombe win. It was between Rochadale and Wycombe for my team goal with the Cork goals so I may have well been feeling sorry for myself.
Jordan, I could just as easily gone for Wycombe for the SS – that’s the way it goes. There’s a lot of luck involved when you’re trying to get 100 per cent success rate every day (one out of one).
That’s it mate which is what I’m trying to do on the NBA but its easier said than done. Even worse when its a bigger card.

I am not a lover of betting no to btts but waited 30mins and done a fourfold that covered my losing bets. Some value to be had with these bets but nail biting until the final whistle

Posted this morning about east fife berwick being full of goals H2H wise. im not too clued up on those leagues but i took a chance in play on over 4.5 goals when it went 1-0 berwick, berwick scored the 5th in the 94th min! elsewhere i also took rochdale who screwed a acca of mine.
Also anyone else notice if theres lots of first half goals, theres hardly any after the break. tonights luton game was another example of that. i can only think of everton-chelsea where there was lots of first half goals and lots in the second half too

ps wato, since I’ve started betting on goals I’ve not had to top up an account for 7 or 8 months now, I have had to top up accounts from other accounts though if you get me, moving money from 365 to WH or whatever, I use 3 accounts PP, WH and 365 and prefer different ones for different bets eg prefer 365 for team goals and inplays, PP for overs, WH for btts

don’t normally mention sums but my shop bet 2/1 double is only £4.50 lunch money…………. ;)
