IT'S another busy night of NBA action and the best and worst teams both feature.
Golden State Warriors – whose record this season stands at 25 wins and one defeat – face the only team to have beaten them, Milwaukee Bucks.
And the side with just one victory to their name in 27 outings, Philadelphia 76ers, hosts the New York Knicks.
Warriors are 10-11 at Paddy Power with a 17.5 point handicap to get revenge on the Bucks and just 2-13 at BetVictor to be leading at half-time and full-time while an away win pays 22-1 at Skybet.
Philadelphia are 5-2 at Paddy Power to bag just their second win of the campaign against a New York side priced up at 10-31 by Paddy Power.
Elsewhere there's more first-round action from the darts World Championship and other sporting highlights include Test cricket and European rugby union.
Good luck with your bets and let's hear your tips and chat.
About time someone added some rugby tips to this site I feel. Been my most profitable area for a long time.
Northampton v Racing 92 (745)
These two clash after meeting last week in France, where Racing ran out comfortable 33-3 winners. Racing have name an unchanged team filled with stars such as Dan Carter, Juan Imhoff, Joe Rokocoko and Chris Masoe. Northampton have made a number of changes with Myler starting at 10, Lawes moving to the second row to partner Matfield and Pisi joining Burrell in the centres.
This is an improve Northampton side who simply must win this game, and with Myler in have shown that they will be trying to win the battle for territory.
However, I believe they will come up short. Myler is no match for Carter, and Northampton simply will not be able to cope once again with the power that Racing have upfront. I am usually very wary of betting on French teams away in Europe, particularly against teams of the Saints quality. Given how Racing hammered them last week, both on the scoreboard and on the pitch, and are unbeaten in 4 on their travel in Europe ( Including a 32-8 win at Northampton last year) I cannot see past the tremendous value that Racing represent.
My bets
Racing +2 @ 1.91 (Boyle sports) – 3 points
Racing to win @2.2 – 2 points
I’m not a massive fan of Northern Hemisphere rugby and will be posting once Super Rugby is up and running again but I totally agree with you mate. Given Saints’ struggles in the premiership, the hammering last week and the pure quality Racing possess, you gotta fancy them for the win. I’ll be all over it bro.

Consider myself very unlucky after the first night. Laursen was 2-0 up in the deciding set and missed 2 match darts. Lewis hit 3 180s, 1 short and several times his last dart went into the 5. Brown played poorly, however he did have 2 darts and the bullseye and one at double 20 to complete the bet. Luckily gary anderson rescued day one and leaves me in an ok position going into day 2 where there is an afternoon and evening session.

**REPOST FOR SUNDAY**
Quite a biased pick here but I have my reasons. Last week at the Lambeau the Pack were favoured by about a TD against a very good defense in the Dallas Cowboys who are ranked in the top 10 on the season. Our Head Coach Mike McCarthy finally gave in to what the majority of our fans wanted, and took over the play calling duty in which it made a heck of a difference. We took away the Cowboys pass rush and linebacker Sean Lee out the game with a run heavy offense and it worked, with over 200 team rushing yards and winning 28-7. This week we’ll be heading to California to face the Oakland Raiders who are fresh off a win in Denver against one of the best defences in the league. The Packers are only being favoured by 3 points and personally I believe this is a gift.
A few things to take note of the Raiders win in Denver. QB Brock Osweiler was making his fourth career start and despite having a ton of success in the first half through the air, the Broncos only led at HT by 12-0 from four field goals despite making two trips inside Oaklands 30 yard line. If Peyton Manning was playing I’m pretty sure he could of at least put up two TD’s in those four trips into Oakland territory, but needless to say it didn’t happen. Another crazy stat is that Oakland were held to MINUS 12 total yards in the first half which is an NFL all time record. So the second half starts and the Raiders drive down and get a TD in 5 minutes to make the game 12-7, back in it. Denver go three and out on their next three possessions, and then a loose snap goes into the end zone and is recovered by an offensive lineman who is then tackled for a safety, 12-9. On Oaklands next possession they punt the ball away which is then fumbled by Sanders and recovered by Oakland on the Denver 11 yard line, with Oakland scoring a TD with the great field position, go for a 2 point attempt which fails, Oakland lead 15-12. Denver then drive up the field and miss a 49 yard field goal that hits the upright which could have tied the game. The Raiders then miss a field goal themselves which gives the Broncos a chance to tie or win the game again and Vernon Davis drops a pass right on the money on 4th down, which sees the Raiders able to kneel out the clock and take a W home with 126 yards of total offense and eight first downs. ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY SIX!?
The Packers defense isn’t the best and we let the Cowboys break out a few runs on Sunday, but I’m pretty sure that Rodgers and our offense with McCarthy calling the plays can easily go into Oakland and get a W. If we win here we will clinch a playoff spot, and if you look at our schedule, on paper its our easiest game remaining. Next week a tough match up in Arizona against current NFC second seed in the Cardinals, then a division game at home against the Vikings who will be out for blood after we beat them in Minneapolis a few weeks ago. Previews will tell you the journey and time zone might factor against the Packers, but we came here against the 49ers and won 17-3 in October, which was an earlier kick off of 6:00PM GMT, with this game kicking off at 9:25PM GMT, the Packers shouldn’t feel too jet lagged. One player that the game plan will be planned for is defensive end Khalil Mack who had five sacks on Osweiler on Sunday. Expect another heavy dose of Lacy and Starks to stop Mack from getting to Rodgers and causing any damage. I’ll be interested in the props for Lacy and Starks but for now I’m going to take us to cover the 3 points.
The Raiders rank 25th in total defense, 28th in pass yards against per game at 7 yards per attempt, 12th in rush yards against but 19th in yards per carry at 4.2. Oakland are also averaging 25 points against them per game. It might be slightly tougher than the Cowboys game being on the road, but three points isn’t big against a team who aren’t likely to make the playoffs in my honest opinion. Another fairly big factor is they have a divisional game next Thursday at home to the Chargers which is Christmas Eve.
So that’s the theory. Hope it pans out well.
NFL Week 15 – Sunday 20th – 9:25PM

Better card today and think we have a good chance for some profit, and with any luck, big profit.
Hosts Malaga take on tournament favourites CSKA today. Both teams have already qualified and will be a lot more relaxed in what I can see as a very open game between two offensive teams. Although both have qualified CSKA will be looking for revenge after their loss to Malaga in the reverse fixture.
Milano entertain Limoges who will finish bottom of the group. Milano were handed a lifeline last night with Cedevita losing heavily. If ever they needed extra motivation to win a game, that was it. Can’t see past a big win for Milano here.
Olympiakos entertain Efes in Greece tonight and I think this is a tricky one to call. I tipped Olympiacos to win the competition at the start of this year’s campaign (10/1) and they have impressed me thus far. I think they’ll just about cover the spread, although my preference will be for the unders which I believe is set a little high here for two strong defensive teams.

@jacksonator yeah hopefully a profitable tournement. Strongly fancy kyle anderson to win later on at 4/6. Will see how i get on this afternoon first.
Hello mate,
I’m doing a very similar thing to you this tournament, starting on 30 and seeing what happens. Had some good luck yesterday with a Gurney to win and snakebite -1.5 double at 2/1 however Anderson cost me by not hitting enough 180’s. Still up 10 for the tournament so far.
When is Mark Webster playing? I cant seem to find him on bet365?
I really like to the look of John Henderson to win this afternoon at 4/5
Will be jumping on your bets as well just to see how they go.
Thanks for the write up and best of luck for the tournament.

Think you’ll need the 10/1 on that case Raoul ?
@hunter
I can’t put the overs and the spread in a acca with my bookie (can only do that with NBA matches).
I’ve got :
– CSKA -4.5
– Malaga/CSKA over 161
– Milan -9.5
– Olympiakos/Efes under 151.5
Which one is ‘safer’ do you think to put in the acca, CSKA -4.5 or over 161 ?
Is Olympiakos/Efes under 151.5 not too low (3 pts less than your selection) ?
CSKA have been destroying teams of late but there’s that slight concern that they’ve already qualified and have lost to Malaga in reverse fixture. Based on this, maybe favour the Overs more.
3 points is a big difference but I’d still be happy to take it at 151.5. There are a few more games I like in Europe today so you could always swap this line for one of the others I put up? The German team Oldenburg should have a big win today. Think I can get -10.5 @ 4/6 which looks inviting. Also Naestved (Danish) should cover spread.
Glad I didn’t force myself with more tips yesterday … didn’t expect the Hornets/Raptors to need OT to get their over and Lakers/Houston wasn’t a real show.
Better card tonight :D
Congrats to the winners.

Singles:
Gaweenuntawong vs Eidams, Gaweenuntawong win 11/8
Dolan vs Anderson, Dolan over 2.5 180’s 8/11
Huybrechts vs Pallett, Huybrechts most 180’s 5/6
Gaweenuntawong played well for Thailand in this years World Cup Of Darts and very nearly took out a 170 checkout, just wiring the bull. He won the South East Asian qualifier so Thailand will be represented for the first time at the World Championships. Having seen Eidams at the Geman Championship it appears he is a steady ton type of player but my gut is telling me Gaweenuntawong will qualify.
The history maker Dolan, like many others, has a unique throwing style which usually sees a fair amount of 60’s being hit. I think the match with Anderson could potentially go all the way providing each player does’nt suffer a dip so Dolan should overcome his 180 line.
Huybrechts is one of the games big scorers and will want to start his account with a good performance, which should be laden with 180’s. I think pallet will need to be hitting maximums from the off to realistcally win or draw the 180 contest but I dont think he will be able to keep up with Kim on that front.

I don’t point my bets because I end up concentrating on what I’m staking rather than what I’m betting.

Well I’ve got £48 quid on it mate but it all depends what you call big. He is averaging 25.3 points and 10.7 rebounds per game, and 25.3 and 11.7 rebounds over his last three. It’s clearly wrong, but whether he gets it is another story.

4-2 Washington Capitals @ 17.0
My system says that this game should go under 5.5 gls but I fancy o5.5 gls @ 2.5. Not going to back the overs and choose to take the correct score as a silly bet instead.
Only thing I’m worrying about is that he often gets in foul trouble
Yeah he doesn’t mess about. But usually he has an opponent that riles him up. Timberwolves don’t necessarily have a play like that.
Yeah I put 5 points on it too just wondered if you guys who know a lot more than me think if it’s a ten pointer etc. I’ll leave it as I am I think. In these situations when the bookies realise they have got it wrong, are they able to back track on it and void the bets or are they bound by it?
Paddy Power always pay out on their errors. Well they have done on the couple of times I’ve bet with them. This is a fairly big boo boo mind. For instance those Wheaton yards I posted last week at 22.5 doubled in total and they paid out.
Depends on the bookie but in my experience with pp they usually pay out.
jacksonator, they can backtrack if a genuine mistake has been made but not if they decided that was price and simply got it wrong.
Price isn’t wrong Mr F just the total itself. They do it all the time with their NFL bets. I usually find a prop every week that eventually gets changed by the time the game starts.

Oregon State vs CS Fullerton – Oregon State -7
Their last 3 wins have all covered the 7 points and Fullerton have played a relatively easy bunch but are coming up against a good team.
St. John’s vs Incarnate Word – St. John’s – 4.5
St. John’s are on a 3 game winning streak with two of them and one just a 0.5 point shy of covering this spread. Incarnate Word are on one hellish losing streak, so they may put up a fight but i believe St. John’s to win comfortably.
Oregon vs Long Beach State – Oregon – 9.5
Oregon have won 8 of their last 10 with 5 covering this spread. Long Beach State have only won 4 of their last 10.
