WATFORD shocked the football world by ending Liverpool's incredible unbeaten league run but they remain in relegation trouble and need another huge three points when Leicester come calling.

That epic 3-0 win over the champions elect was one of the results of the season and few people saw it coming, myself included as a I tipped a narrow Reds win that day.

But Nigel Pearson's side failed to build on it and lost 1-0 next time out at Crystal Palace to stay just above the drop zone on goal difference.

That victory over Liverpool remains Watford's only win in their last eight games and unless they arrest that slide they could end up in the Championship.

Leicester have managed to get back on track after going four games without a win, beating Birmingham in the Cup before thrashing struggling Aston Villa 4-0 in the league.

I fancied the Foxes that day but thought they would just sneak a victory, only for Jamie Vardy to come off the bench to cap a dominant display with a double.

With their top scorer fit and back among the goals, Brendan Rodgers' men will be out to deepen the relegation fears of another side.

How the bookies view it

If Watford can match the intensity of their display against Liverpool then they could be well worth backing at 58/25 with Marathonbet. I might just have a nibble at that price.

Leicester are a best 13/10 with Unibet while the draw is 66/25 with Marathonbet.

Recent head to head

Home advantage has been a big factor in this fixture in the last four seasons, with Leicester winning every match at the King Power and Watford coming out on top each time at Vicarage Road.

The last three meetings in Watford have ended in 2-1 wins for the Hornets so that scoreline might be worth a punt at 12/1 with Bet365.

There hasn't been an away win in this fixture since March 2016, when Riyad Mahrez scored the only goal for a Leicester side on their way to the title (below).

Players to watch

Ismaila Sarr ripped Liverpool apart and if he's on top of his game then the winger could get some joy against the Foxes defence. He's 13/5 with Paddy Power for a goal here and that's decent value.

It's hard to look past Vardy for a Leicester goal with his confidence back after ending a drought against Villa. The striker is 13/10 with Unibet and that will attract plenty of punters.

Anything else catch the eye?

This should be a tight game and I like the look of a one-goal winning margin for either side at 13/10 with Betway.

Leicester have a good disciplinary record and there wasn't a single booking when Watford beat Liverpool last time out at Vicarage Road. So I fancy under 3.5 cards here at 10/11 with Bet365.
