THERE were a couple of bets I looked at on Wednesday but decided not to put anything up.
Thursday's card is even more limited so I'm ending the month with two days of no bets.
And maybe it should have been more. Before the start of the internationals I was in profit on the Super Singles and accumulators – but I've been wiped out.
Hopefully April will be a good month as we get down to the nitty gritty at the business end of the season.
Greg was the only regular tipster who posted anything yesterday but his Estonia League match didn't produce the number of goals expected.
Instead of researching obscure games I'm going for a game of golf in the morning so a keep an eye out for anything Greg or Jordan might put up on the comments section.
Friday sees football get back to normal and while my focus will (already has) be on Saturday's card I'm hoping to put up something.

Bognor Regis Town are without doubt the form team in the league winning five on the spin and what with having games in hand could in reality end up topping the league. What concerns me though is that they’ve played a lot of games recently; four matches in eight days so this will now be their fifth in eleven days. Fatigue is a factor that must be considered when they head into tonight’s fixture against their capable opponents Enfield Town.
Enfield Town are very strong at home. They are unbeaten in eight winning seven with one draw and all of said matches saw them scoring at least two goals. The pick of these games was last week when they defeated a high flying Kingstonian team 4-0. Bognor Regis have conceded against questionable opposition in Harrow Borough and Burgess Hill Town within their run of five wins so Enfield should be able to net at least once. I believe that form is temporaray thing and I can see Bognor Regis’ excellent run of wins coming to a halt tonight against a team for whom victory tonight would take them one place outside of the promotion playoff group.

Agree with the logic tonight, Bognor’s squad depth shouldn’t let them be full strength to face that number of games on the spin, and Enfield are tough at home.

He doesn’t cost me anything. I look at the tips and make my own mind up if I want to follow them or not. I walk into the bookies on my own, check that no one is forcing my arm behind my back, fill in the coupon and hand my money over.
It is my decision to gamble and mine alone. I often make the wrong decision by not backing a tip but that’s my choice.

Top of the table clash sees Dundalk face Derry, who in my opinion are only in 2nd after some early season smoke and mirrors. Despite the 12 points and a 1-0 win at Cork, they lost their opening game of the season at promoted Finn Harps 2-1. Dundalk beat a decent St. Pats side 4-0 away from home last time out and have beaten Derry in 8 of the last 9 h2h’s. Same should continue here and they should score a couple as they do against the majority of the league.
Two teams that have conceded the most goals over their first five games, but have both scored more than the other teams in the bottom six. Promoted Wexford Youths host Bray Wanderers, and I fancy the home teams chances of scoring here having done so against Dundalk and Derry at home this season. Supposedly there has only been two h2hs in the history between these two, with Wexford winning both at home. A club friendly last February and an Irish cup tie in 2014. Wexford are yet to get 3 points this season, but they could have a chance to get them here.
With the 2.78 stake its a +30 point month at worst and would bring profit for the year to a total of +77.85 even with a loss on this double. So much for my system being a loss chaser ;)

Nobody forces anyone to follow them mate. I’ve got a few good tactics I usually use thatve landed me a few quid over the years – just remember Mr F only posts them as guidance and he provides this brilliant forum for free.
Decent tactic I sometimes use is to have a look at the top treble, make a decision on which element is most likely to let it down, then replace that with Greg Browning’s NAP of the day.
Doesn’t always work but I’ve made a few bob off it ?
It’s all down to your own judgement if you take Mr F’s, mine, or anyone else’s mate.
I tend to make my own mind up on the card then have a read through and see who agrees with or dissuades me. It isn’t foolproof but I’m just under 40 points up for the month so isn’t a bad method ☝
robertc, spot on. It’s worth remembering I was well ahead before the season was rudely interrupted by internationals.
Also it just takes one or two goals to against you to make the difference between profit and loss.

Well here’s a game which ticks all the usual boxes for one which slips through the net as far as the odds makers are concerned. Despite 11 straight victories in this fixture, the visitors are being offered at 10/11 with several firms and this is quite simply too good to ignore.
To give some more historical background from a statistical point of view, consider the following.
Sillamae have won 27 of the 33 meetings between the sides in all competitions and, as already stated, the last 11 on the bounce.

Totally agree about the lower leagues. They dont have the resources that other clubs have and it manifests itself into great opportunities for punters to benefit off.
Couldn’t agree more mate – the old man was a ref in the Northern Counties (as was) and Lancashire League so grew up being dragged around every ground in the North.
Lancashire League was ace as it was all the big team’s (Utd, City, Liverpool, Everton’s) A and B sides so saw the Youth coming through and all the 1st teamers coming back from injury/alchoholism, etc.
Played to a fair level myself but never made it so always try and keep in touch with what will seem outrageously obscure teams/matches to some.
