JAN 17: JUNIOR FOOTBALL BETTING TIPS

genericfootball

JUNIOR football tipsters Owen Scott and Paul Petrie have picked out their teams but if you can’t get a game on at Rangers what’s the chance of match going ahead at Kilwinning Rangers for example.

William Hill’s Owen has banked £15.27 this season while McBookie’s Paul is on £153.20 to £10 stakes. Here’s what the duo are on this weekend – but I;d advise holding off to see if any games beat the big freeze.

Owen writes: The Scottish Junior Cup takes centre stage this weekend as weather permitting 32 clubs will battle it out for a place in the last 16.

I’m starting my treble with the match of the day which sees the holders Hurlford play host to Bo’ness. I’m going to take the side of the West side at 1-1 as I reckon home advantage will go a long way in this tie and Hurlford will march on in the defence of their trophy.

Next I’m taking a wee chance with this one as I’m on Kilwinning Rangers who are 6-4 at home to Fauldhouse. Kilwinning are still in the District League but will almost certainly go up this season and I feel they can add another scalp to their cup run after beating Dalkeith and Beith.

Glenrothes at 11-10 are my final pick this week as they play Yoker. There isn’t much between these sides but I reckon home advantage will help.

Paul writes: I am not holding out much hope for these going ahead but I am sticking to the Junior Cup for my treble this weekend.

First I am going for Broughty to beat St Andrews at 13-5. I have a sneaky feeling the league will be more important to St Andrews and can easily see a shock on the cards

Next I am taking a punt on Kilwinning to beat Fauldhouse at 15-8. A long trip to the west coast will be the last thing Fauldhouse want and the fact Rangers are flying high will mean they are full of confidence.

Next I am going for Kilbirnie to beat Kilsyth at 4-9. Ladeside have had some really good results this season and have signed a few players on loan from Stranraer which should boost their squad.
