Apr 4: Scottish Betting Preview

MrF_Aberdeen

THE title race is over – and maybe someone should tell Aberdeen.

In all honesty it’s been done and dusted for months but only the Dons’ tenacity extended it into April.

But not even nine wins in 10 games could keep Celtic’s hands off the prize for too long.

Their attitude and finishing was superb on Friday as they punctured holes in Dundee’s defence and I see no reason to desert them at home to Inverness tonight.

However, Derek McInnes’s are no bigger than 1-4 with McBookie and Ladbrokes and that’s as appealing as a visit to a dentist called Jaws.

The Dons’ last five wins have been to nil – that was my Super Single last Friday – and another returns 5-6 at boylesports. On the other hand the last six meetings have seen both to score and repeat is 7-4 with Marathonbet.

A bet to consider could be Aberdeen to win and both to score at 13-5 with McBookie and Ladbrokes.

Andy Considine hit a hat-trick from left-back at Dens and is 16-1 with William Hill to score first and 11-2 at William Hill to net at anytime.

I tipped Kenny McLean to net at Dens and he did in an outstanding show. The midfielder is 11-4 with Paddy Power to score again.

The other games sees Ross County entertain a Dundee who defended like kids against Aberdeen.

Looking at the table the winners tonight will take a massive leap to safety if Inverness lose.

County have lost two and drawn one of three meetings this season but will see this as a great chance to leapfrog the Dens men who are trying to avoid five defeats on the bounce.

The Dingwall men are a best 6-5 with Paddy Power while Dundee are 5-2 at McBookie with the draw the same price.
