EVER wondered how bookies are sizing up the weekend card. Here's the thoughts from inside camps at 188BET and BetVictor.

188Bet focus on the FA Cup and reckon we'll be looking at a Man United v Crystal Palace final. BetVictor concentrate on the form of Scottish Cup finalists Rangers and Hibs and also top Patrick Roberts to bounce back from his Old Firm nightmare miss.

188BET

THIS weekend it’s the turn of the FA Cup with one tie looking finely poised and the other seemingly a foregone conclusion.

In Saturday’s match 2.0 (evens) for a Man United win against Everton seems a great bet against a side who seem to have lost all direction under Roberto Martinez with only one win in their last eight games.

United in contrast have won five of their last six in a run that has included four clean sheets aided by arguably now the best keeper in the world in David de Gea.

It’s hard to see how in their form Everton will get past him which could be a lifeline for 188BET punters. If de Gea keeps a clean sheet 188BET will refund losing first or anytime scorer, correct score and HT/FT bets up to £25.

So while de Gea is doing the business at one end of the pitch up at the other Marcus Rashford is the new hero with seven goals in his first 12 games. The striker seems to have the temperament to deliver the goods in a semi-final and is 2.5 (6-4) to score at anytime. A 2-0 United win at odds of 9.0 (8-1) looks a tempting bet as does Rashford to bag the first or last-scorer mantle with both of these options 5.5 (9-2).

Sunday’s match between Crystal Palace and Watford is tougher to call between two teams who after a great start to the season have both tailed off.

Form can go out of the window for this one but Palace’s performance at Old Trafford in midweek suggested they were saving themselves for this one. They were beaten 2-0 without putting up too much of a fight.

Troy Deeney and Odion Ighalo have earned the plaudits up front for Watford this season but Palace have scored more league goals than the Hornets.

And so Palace are taken to edge a tight affair at match odds of 2.37 (just under 11-8). If you fancy the Eagles to win 1-0 this is priced up at 7.0 (6-1) and could be the way to go.

RANGERS and Hibs celebrated Scottish Cup success last weekend and both should win league games on Saturday.

Mark Warburton’s men are 2-5 to win the Scottish Cup and complete a treble. Hibs are 7-4 to reign at Hampden and the same price to finish second in the Championship.

BetVictor make the pair 8-11 to beat Alloa and Morton respectively. Rangers will be handed the Championship trophy and are 1-10 to beat the relegated Wasps in what could turn out to be something of a bloodbath at Ibrox.

Meanwhile, David Moyes has been well supported to return to Celtic Park and is the new 6-4 (from 2-1) favourite with BetVIctor to be the Hoops’ next permanent manager after Ronny Deila announced he was leaving. Neil Lennon and Roy Keane are 5-2 and 6-1 second and third faves respectively.

Lennon has been backed into 5-2 (from 4s) second favourite to return after a tremendously successful spell in charge of the Hoops, winning three Premiership Titles in his five-year stint in charge.

Deila remains in charge until the end of the campaign and is 2-9 to guide his side to a further three points tomorrow when welcoming Ross County to Parkhead. The visitors are 12-1 and the draw 6-1.

Manchester City loanee Patrick Roberts will be having sleepless nights about last week’s open-goal miss at Hampden and will need an instant reply to silence the doubters.

Leigh Griffiths not surprisingly heads the market to break the deadlock as the 5-2 favourite with BetVictor but that only serves to offer punters yet further value about teenager Roberts and he warrants supporting at 5-1 to score the opener and even money to net anytime during the 90.
