MANCHESTER UNITED have finally found a bit of consistency but could be knocked out of their comfort zone as they return to Luton Town's Kenilworth Road on Premier League duty for the first time since 1992.

Luton saw their own revival grind to a halt last weekend with a surprise 3-1 home loss to struggling Sheffield United but they've made the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City sweat at Kenilworth Road this season.

So Erik Ten Hag will know his Red Devils need to dig deep as they bid to rack up a fifth consecutive win in all competitions to continue their quest for a top-four finish.

Last week's massive 2-1 victory at Villa Park, which saw Slips Tips go for some stats bets, cut the gap on Unai Emery's side to five points and left Manchester United six adrift of fourth-placed Tottenham.

A Champions League slot seemed fanciful at the turn of the year after a run of just two wins in seven Premier League games but Manchester United have hit their stride in 2004 with Ten Hag's side yet to taste defeat.

Luton Town also made a storming start to the new year, embarking on a six-game unbeaten run in all competitions as they climbed out of the Premier League drop zone.

That surge included a 4-0 demolition job of Brighton at Kenilworth Road, which busted the coupon of our man Gabriel, and a thrilling 4-4 draw on the road at Newcastle.

Last week's loss to the Blades stalled that momentum but shocking Manchester United would provide another shot of belief as the minnows look to defy the odds by avoiding an instant return to the Championship.

How the bookies view it

With Manchester United in good form it's no great surprise to see them as odds-on favourites at a best 5/6 with 888Sport. Luton Town can be backed at 16/5 with SkyBet while the draw pays 3/1 at Unibet.

Recent head to head

Luton Town were unlucky to lose 1-0 at Old Trafford when these sides met back in November, with defender Victor Lindelof scoring the winner. Manchester United won 3-0 on League Cup duty when they last came to Kenilworth Road four years ago but it was a 1-1 draw in the last Premier League meeting back in 1992.

Players to watch

Elijah Adebayo has been a key man in Luton Town's resurgence, with the forward scoring four goals in his last three matches. He's 3/1 with Paddy Power for another goal here which looks a little overpriced.

Bruno Fernandes has more licence to get forward for Manchester United with Casemiro back beside him in midfield. The Portuguese star has 11 goals for the season and is 13/5 at William Hill to add to that tally here. He's also a tempting 11/4 at Bet365 to provide an assist.

Anything else catch the eye?

Luton Town haven't drawn a Premier League blank since that loss at Old Trafford in November so it bodes well for a few goals. Backing BTTS pays just 3/5 at Unibet but combining that with over 2.5 goals boosts the odds to 20/23 at BoyleSports. Over 3.5 goals also stands a chance and that pays 6/4 with Betfred.

The tight pitch at Kenilworth Road usually leads to a plenty of corners and we've seen double figures on that count in all but two of Luton's home games this term.  Over 11.5 corners in this one pays 7/5 at Unibet who also price over 5.5 Man United corners at a tempting evens.

Arsenal loanee Albert Sambi Lokonga should be at the heart of the midfield battle and he has collected two yellows in his last three Luton Town outings. Backing him to go in the book again pays a tempting 17/4 at Unibet.
