LIVERPOOL have bounced back from their 7-2 hammering to Aston Villa in good fashion and they will be looking to make it four wins on the spin when they welcome West Ham to Anfield on Saturday evening.

A pulsating 2-2 draw with old foes Everton was followed by closely-fought back-to-back wins against Ajax and Sheffield United.

The Reds then recorded their third successive victory across all competitions on Tuesday night with a 2-0 win over Danish minnows Midtjylland, helping me land a tasty 23/20 shot.

Next up for the reigning Premier League champions is a Merseyside meeting with a rejuvenated West Ham outfit who have lost just two of their last 10 top-flight tussles.

David Moyes' men brilliantly dismantled both Wolves (4-0) and Leicester (0-3) before staging a remarkable comeback in a rip-roaring 3-3 draw away at fierce rivals Spurs.

West Ham made it four games undefeated with a deserved 1-1 draw with Man City last time out and following a pre-season that was blighted with hostility, the Irons impressive early-season form has helped lift the mood at the London Stadium.

Outright Betting

Liverpool have avoided defeat in their last 62 Premier League fixtures at Anfield and the Reds are red-hot favourites on Saturday at 1/3 with Bet 365.

West Ham have won just once at this venue since 1963 and a Hammers victory this weekend is a whopping 15/2 with Bet 365, while a share of the spoils is priced up at 9/2 with the same firm.

Betting Angles

Goals tend to flow in this fixture – each of the last four meetings at Anfield have produced over 2.5 goals, however, there is no value in backing three or more strikes on Saturday evening at 2/5 with Bet 365.

Backing both teams to score also looks a little skinny at a general 8/13, so in search of some value I'm going to opt for a couple of alternative angles when making use of the Bet 365 Bet Builder feature.

The first combination that I'm going to pull together to present us with a backable 4/5 punt is Liverpool to score, over two Liverpool corners and West Ham to collect over one card.

Liverpool have notched up two or more strikes in 27 of their last 29 top-flight tussles on home turf and that does not bode well for a West Ham side who have kept just two clean sheets across their last 12 Premier League road trips.

The capital club picked up two or more cards in four of their six league games this term and it's also worth noting that the above-mentioned Bet Builder landed in both Premier League meetings last season.

Moyes' men made their mark at fortress Anfield during a thrilling 3-2 loss last February and West Ham could well make the net bulge on Merseyside this weekend.

The Hammers are 1/2 to hit the back of the net and that makes some appeal given that West Ham have scored in each of their last eight fixtures, not to mention the Reds have registered just one shutout in their opening six league matches of the season.

However, I'm going to nudge the price up to 4/5 by combining a West Ham goal alongside over zero West Ham cards – a combination that has clicked in six of the Hammers last eight Premier League matches.
