While I liked Belgium – and well done to his goals tip – I wasn't convinced enough to put the in there and as the other two games were tough to call I went for draws.
We're down to two games now kicking off at 8pm and it's Group A's finale with France v Switzerland and Romania v Albania. I've posted a preview and reckon France and Romania will win.

Point betting isn’t going my way so i am taking a different approach after my under 5.5 card bet tonight in the Argentina game. All was going well and i was in some nice profit for the Euro’s until i woke up late for the England game. It has stuck with me and been blagging my head everyday about the fact i was going to do “first goal freekick” for my £50 free bet and the fact it landed but i didn’t actually get on. Would of been £850 return i think. This has caused me to fall to pieces shall we say and staking things i wouldn’t normally in an attempt to get what i would have won. This has been a disaster. With online betting it is so easy to place big amounts as it is just a number but unlike if i was in a shop and saw the money in my hand i wouldn’t want to give my money away so easily. I’m sure Mr F will agree how easy it is to get silly online & you need to have good discipline. I admit it i do slack a little but i think my age has a factor here.
Gonna try my first rolling bet since a few months ago, i have actually forgotten my strategy a little bit & no this isn’t me calling for attention, i genuinely have. I have strict rules regarding my outlays – 100pt betting bank worth £1k and never more than 10pts loss a day.
You need to try to be more disciplined and don’t chase losses. If you lose 10 per cent stop and come back the next day.
And bet max 10pts – never 30 or 40 or 50. It’s easy to be disciplined in my opinion.

People are right, its discipline. The bookies will mop up all day long on those who overreach.
Incidentally, an in-play bet worth looking at is a team to not keep a clean sheet. As the emphasis from the bookies point of view is on the expected scorer running out of goal scoring time rather than the defending team running down the clock ( in effect making it less likely for them to concede ) – the No clean sheet price will Rise from kickoff rather than fall.
The only two drawbacks is that one side definitely has to score to keep the bet rolling AND the in-play payout takes longer than the overs 0.5tmgs usually does. Often the bookies will make you wait the full hour which can deny you hopping onto staggered start times.

However, Portugal would need to finish ahead of the other team on two points on goal difference, goals scored, disciplinary; they are ahead of all on coefficient.

Afternoon gents. Wasn’t a great day/night on the betting front for me with the Hungarians failing to score before the 70 minute mark then a dull 0-0 in Ohio overnight. Vancouver saw the 2.5 but the Columbus game ruined the double. 5.4 point loss yesterday but its no bother.
Could be quite an interesting game between Romania and Albania tonight. Both still in with a shout of qualification so should be a decent game. Bookies don’t expect goals but I think there is a decent chance with plenty on the line.
The Romanians have looked decent and in my opinion should win tonight. Their goal time is 54 minutes with 365 and while I think its worth a wager to score before then, I’m going to leave it and look to tomorrow. Twine – just to clarify, Jordan’s not claiming he tipped a 17/1 bet. Instead he’s stating that he covered his GSW to win the NBA title bet by placing a 17/1 cover bet WHEN the series was 3-1 to GSW. With the number of points he’s gradually been placing on this bet it’s cheap insurance for a big bet.
Also, I don’t bet via mobile device so I couldn’t if I needed to.

not really sure what your point is, it was massively implied that you should cover, and a few days before at 2-0 he said he would wait to see if they won one in Cleveland to cover. If you are saying if he is keeping stats he should state the cover and how much then I can see the argument, but at the end of the day Jordan won’t care less what the stats say because the cash will be in his bank!!

Turkey v Czechs same as Romania game in that both teams need to win so a 1-0 again here.
Austria need to beat Iceland by 2 goals to get their goal difference down to 0, and even then 3 points might not be enough. A point for Iceland will give them 3 also and a level goal difference which could be enough if 3 groups have teams finishing 3rd with 3 or less points.
Portugal will probably beat a poor Hungary 1-0 to qualify.
Croatia v Spain could be a dress rehearsal for the final, but for this game a draw does them both like the France game tonight.
Ireland have to beat an already qualified and weakened Italy, and even then because of a minus 3 goal difference they have to rely on two other groups having their 3rd place teams with 3 points or less to get through.
The France group has this now and if Czechs don’t beat turkey that is another.
All I see for the next few days is a continuation of fear stifling the teams and goals will continue to be scarce.

It’s pretty clearcut. Also how you cover depends on the initial stake but at 17-1 it’s easy and cheap cover that has to be done.
