ROGER FEDERER cruised to his eighth Wimbledon title to help land my Super Single double.
I backed no tie-break in the first set and added Jamie Murray and Martina Hingis to win the mixed doubles for an even-money success.
My both to score double was a loser though I was let down by the Molde match.
There is a busy week ahead but not much to look at on Monday with a few league games scattered across the Continent and two more matches in the women's Euro 2017 finals.
It could have been a no-bet day but with my profit in good shape this month I'm posting a double that in normal circumstances I might be reluctant to put up.
Germany women are one of the fancied teams in the Euros and should open with victory against Sweden in Holland. To make it a double at just below evens add Man United against Salt Lake in their early-morning friendly.

Should be against the law though bookies have to accept that some people will win occasionally they make plenty of money overalll.
Luckily there are plenty of firms willing to take your money.
Bookies are run solely as businesses now so if you’re costing them they won’t like it.
I HATE bookies that play the ” we’ve taken a commercial decision ” sh*te. Keen to take your money when you’re losing but spit their dummy out of the pram when someone takes them for a hiding.

About 16 years ago, I had a £2 line on an independent bookies Keith Tomlin – had 2 shops and a 50k limit. It was a premade Saturday football slip – the ones where the games are grouped – ultra slim odds in the top group, then getting progressively harder to predict – until you get the really tough ones at the bottom. Maybe 7 or 8 groups of games, I picked 2 from each.
Every one won, apart from the last. Coventry conceded in the 87th to bust the bet.
When he brought me my winnings from my £1 single selection from each group – and my cuppa, his words ” I nearly never brought you a cuppa ” – turns out that all my selections were 3pm kickoffs and he couldn’t carry it. He told me later on that he was sh*tting himself !!!
About 2 years ago, an 18 year old walking to the match dropped a couple of quid on a similar bet – big bookie, went to the match, saw the game, walked in the bookie to check results, think he picked up 50-60k. Wonder if he got p*ssed that night?

Many years ago, I was a regular in my local William Hills in Clydebank.
I knew the staff, and they knew me.
Like the rest of us regular visitors to bookmakers, they have more of OUR money, than we have ever had of THEIRS.
Anyway, I can remember this clearly to this day, even though it was September 1996.
It was a Tuesday, and UEFA Cup day.
Guingamp were at home to Inter Milan.
I think the home team were still an amateur team at the time, but they got to the national cup final the season before.
Arsenal were at home to Borussia Moenchengladbach, and Celtic at home to Borussia Dortmund.
I fancied all 3 away teams, at odds of Evens, 3/1 and 4/1.
I was in the bookies, slip filled out, tenner in my hand, and ready to hand it over.
But, I was so convinced that this was a winner, that I stopped myself in my tracks, headed round to my bank, withdrew cash, went back to the bookies, and decided to put £100 on instead.
All three landed, and when I went back the next day to collect my two and a half grand, you would’ve thought I had robbed their houses.
The looks I was getting, the phone calls that were being made, I had to make three visits, and on the second one they told me to come back before they closed.
I finally got my cash, but from that day onwards I was restricted to £10 maximum bets.
I tried on the odd occasion to put more on, but either the manager or a member of staff would phone head office, and my bet would be knocked back.
Eventually I started using other bookies in Clydebank.
Although I said, ‘I remember it to this day’, I haven’t got a clue why I said Celtic were playing Dortmund, when they WERE playing Hamburg.

It’s unusual for a shop to restrict you to a tenner.
Mostly I find staff happy to pay out and I normally slip them £10 or £20 from decent winnings.
Only the managers or area managers sometimes seem unhappy and that’s maybe because they’ll bonuses depending on profit. So in a way you are robbing them.
Same mr f i have always had a good smile from the staff in a shop after a good win and i have always slipped the staff enough for a drink,onto Celtics game against Linfield i reckon celtic will batter them at home i want to get on early as there won’t be any value come kick off,what do you reckon mr f at least 5 goals especially as the players were abused by the home supporters,no let up me thinks.
You’d think Celtic will win by at least four or five but could take it easy since the tie is done.
As you say fans will be looking for them to run up a big score but doesn’t always happen and Carroll could play another blinder.

In those days Paul I wasn’t too sure of the rules.
Always had the option of other bookies in the area, if I wanted to place a bigger bet.
Only problem with the likes of Tote and others, was that the odds were crap.
Hills did the same with my brother-in-law as well.
He WAS/IS a big punter though.
I was with him the day that he put £700 on Ajax to win at Ibrox, and the next day when he went to collect his winnings.

Cluj have quality in squad if we compare to Botasani which has no budget for foreign transfers at all [very bad financial status] , and new season target is avoid relegation

Both teams play on artificial pitches and what with the bounce of the ball being a bit different, there’s that element that quite often racks up the goals count. I lumped on the home win based purely on the last 2 two times they faced eachother. 4-1 and 4-2 to Elfsborg.

In regards to bookies restricting and etc posted today I’ll spill a few beans about the bookie I work for… A single bet of £200 or more gets your bets monitored, it takes a very long time for head office to tell you to restrict a customer, in fact it’s never happened to me.
I know in the past people have been restricted in my shop… A way around it?? The SSBT’s, nothing can be monitored on the things, you can see a person directly using them who may be restricted but there is nowt you can actually do to stop them, and chances are, the SSBT’s are foreign and not actually the companies, and therefore do not link to the high street bookies systems hence not being able to restrict people’s bets… Ever wondered why prices differ from the SSBT’s and the high streets system? Because they aren’t theirs!
So a way around restrictions INSHOP are the self service betting terminals!

Another way round it is to get a pal to place a bet for you or split your bets between different shops.

I know you work in a betting shop but you are wrong, the bgt do restrict your activity.
I use them a lot as I dont bet online.
Hills version will let you bet £100 on a single.
Try to top up with another £100 and it refers to a trader and may or may not allow it.
Try a 3rd £100 and its usually refused.
Reason I split them is if you do a £200+ single its more likely to be refused than 2x £100 bets.
The versions in betfred corals and Ladbrokes are run by the same company and the odds are the same. But are more lenient as regards stake, even here in the stake box it has values up to £1000, which is pointless as they also refuse singles over £200, and odds are generally less than hills own version as the prices mirror hills online price.
Another reason I like hills bgt as it’s the only one that allows you to bet on a team to score on most games, the rest just have this option on international games or prem, seria a, la liga etc.
