WOLVES entertain Leicester City on Sunday and are making rapid progress on their hunt for a European spot and maybe even a top four finish.

Leicester City were many people's tips to break into the top four this season, but their disappointing campaign has been well documented and they currently sit in 11th place.

However, they did give under-pressure manager Brendan Rodgers a much-needed boost in midweek when they cruised past Danish underdogs Randers 4-1 in a bloodless first leg victory in the Europa Conference League.

Wolves were desperately unlucky to lose to Arsenal at home, but immediately bounced back with a terrific 2-0 victory at Spurs last week. They've now won five of their last seven league games and are on the up.

Under Bruno Lage, Wolves have been making steady and eye-catching progress and they will want to continue their rise up the table at home on Sunday.

However, Leicester City will claim they are in a false position with injuries hampering their squad this season and the Foxes are again likely to be without up to six players for their relatively short trip across the Midlands.

How the bookies view it?

Wolves' higher league position and home advantage means they are clear favourites at 13/10 with SBK.

Leicester City can be backed at 5/2, also with SBK. The draw is 12/5 with Novibet.

Recent head to heads

Leicester City beat Wolves 1-0 in August at the King Power as can be seen below. But the clubs have gone in opposite directions since then.

Wolves have actually got a dreadful record against Leicester. They haven't won or even scored in the last five meetings between the sides, although three of those games were draws.

Players to watch

Raul Jimenez netted in Wolves' win at Spurs and the Mexican international striker has scored three goals in his last five games. He's 2/1 with 10Bet to score anytime in the Black Country on Sunday.

Zambian hitman Patson Daka has ten goals for the season, although four came in a remarkable match in Russia where he scored all four against Spartak Moscow. He scored against Randers in midweek and he's 5/2 with bet365 to score here.

Anything else catch the eye?

Wolves are very rarely involved in thrillers. In their last 13 league games, 12 of them have finished with under 2.5 goals. In that run, 11 of those have seen only one team score.

Therefore the 11/10 with bet365 for under 2.5 goals and both teams to score: No, makes a lot of sense.

This could easily be decided by just one goal and a chance is taken with a 1-0 home win at 36/5 with SBK.
