LIVERPOOL will be desperate to prove last week's draw with Leicester was merely a blip as they look to move five points clear of Manchester City at the top again.

And the stats suggest they couldn't have picked a better opponent than West Ham to get their confidence back.

Jurgen Klopp's men have destroyed the Hammers in the last four Premier League meetings, scoring four times in each match and conceding just twice across all four games.

It was 4-0 on the opening day of the season as the Reds set the tone for their campaign against a West Ham side with so many new signings.

Manuel Pellegrini's men picked up form after their poor start when all the new faces settled in and got used to the Chilean's tactics.

But they have hit another poor patch in recent weeks, losing to Bournemouth, Wimbledon and Wolves.

The Hammers were lucky to escape with a 3-0 defeat at Molineux and that suggests Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane will get plenty of joy here.

I can't see it being another four-goal thrashing but the Reds should have enough to win at the London Stadium and stay on track for the title.

They were disappointing in midweek against Leicester but Klopp rightly pointed to the snowy pitch disrupting Liverpool's free-flowing style.

There should be a few goals here, especially with Liverpool still having injuries problems at the back. Trent Alexander Arnold and Joe Gomez are still crocked but James Milner returns from suspension and will probably fill in at right-back.

A win for Klopp's side with both teams to score is 2/1 with Bet365 and that looks quite appealing. Klopp's side to be winning at both half-time and full-time could also come off at evens with Ladbrokes.

Liverpool flew out the traps against Leicester and netted in the first 10 minutes. Having tipped the deadlock to be broken between 10 and 20 minutes, I was left disappointed they couldn't have waited just a little longer. Expect another quick start here and I like the look of Salah to score inside 15 minutes which is 3/1 with Ladbrokes.

Virgil van Dijk is due a goal from a set-piece and the Anfield defender is a tempting 17/2 with William Hill in the anytime scorer market.

It could pay to wait until West Ham announce their team before going for a Hammers scorer. Marko Arnautovic went off with a suspected broken foot against Wolves but the injury isn't as bad as first feared and he has an outside chance of playing here.

Aaron Cresswell and keeper Lukas Fabianski are also doubts while Samir Nasri is ruled out. If you're backing a West Ham player in the anytime scorer market, the best bet could be Felipe Anderson. The Brazilian has been off the boil in the last few games but has the talent to grab a goal out of nothing. He's 4/1 with most firms to net at any time.
