It is the Turin derby in Serie A as Torino welcome Juventus to the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino on Saturday. Both teams are showing some good form in recent weeks but Juventus will be looking to maintain their fine record in this fixture and should have the upper hand here.

Torino are attempting to make a late push for a European finish as they sit ninth on the table, six points off the top six. Ivan Juric’s men have shown some good form lately and are unbeaten in four of their last five matches.

Unfortunately for Torino, the one defeat in their recent good form came last time out as they were beaten 3-2 at Empoli. They twice fought back from behind thanks to Duvan Zapata’s brace but could not see out the draw and conceded an injury time winner.

Torino have done some good work at home lately as they are unbeaten in nine of their last 10 matches in front of their fans. However, they have been a bit erratic in recent times, with just two wins in the last five matches on home soil while also failing to score in three fixtures in that run.

Juventus head into Sunday’s clash off the back of a 1-0 victory over Fiorentina in their previous Premier League fixture. Dusan Vlahovic saw two efforts ruled out by VAR as Federico Gatti’s first half effort proved to be the difference.

After stumbling in recent weeks, Juventus appear to be returning to their best having picked up a 2-0 Coppa Italia victory over Lazio prior to the victory over Fiorentina. Massimiliano Allegri’s men continue to impress at the back and have kept clean sheets in three of their last four matches.

One thing that needs to improve for Juventus is their away form as they are winless in their last four matches on the road. They have suffered three defeats in that run and were beaten 1-0 at Lazio in their previous fixture away from home.

How the bookies view it

The bookies have installed Juventus as overwhelming favourites with a win priced at 5/4 by Unibet. Torino are considered outsiders at home at 11/4 with bet365 while a draw is set at odds of 9/5 by BetVictor.

Recent head to head

Juventus have not lost to Torino since 2015, claiming 15 wins and four draws from the last 19 matches. They triumphed 2-0 in the reverse fixture back in October.

Players to watch

Juventus have caught the eye with their defending lately, keeping three clean sheets in the last four matches. Bremer is often at the heart of the backline and can lead the Bianconeri to another clean sheet at 13/10 with BoyleSports.

At the other end of the pitch, Dusan Vlahovic will be the one to watch as he looks to make up for the ruled out goals against Fiorentina. The Serbian striker remains the leading scorer for Juventus with 15 Serie A goals and is priced at 15/8 with William Hill.

Anything else catch the eye?

Juventus have won to nil in two of their last three meetings with Torino and could be set for a similar outcome at 12/5 with BetVictor. Two of the last three meetings have also produced more goals after the break and a similar pattern is priced at 5/4 with Paddy Power.

Juventus have opened the scoring in five of the last six meetings with Torino and are priced at 20/23 by BoyleSports to grab the first goal.
