It is a relegation six-pointer in the Championship as strugglers QPR and Huddersfield Town square off at Loftus Road. Neither team has been at their best in recent weeks and separated by just three points, could be set to cancel each other out on Sunday.

QPR head into Sunday’s clash off the back of a 2-0 victory over Millwall in their previous Championship fixture. They were comfortable for much of the encounter with goals in each half from Ilias Chair and Stuart Armstrong earning them the win.

That was a vital victory for QPR as it ended a run of eight matches across all competitions without a win. Marti Cifuentes’ men are still in the relegation zone but are now just three points from safety.

The win over Millwall was also the first for QPR in the last six matches at Loftus Road. With home form vital in a relegation battle, they will be keen to use that result as a springboard for their survival quest.

Huddersfield Town are coming off a draw as they were held 1-1 by Blackburn Rovers last time out in the Championship. They went into the break level after Michal Helik cancelled out Blackburn’s opener and neither team could find the winner in the second half.

That was the second consecutive 1-1 draw for Huddersfield Town, who were held by Plymouth Argyle in their previous fixture. They have now picked up just one win from their last 11 matches across all competitions and are three points above the relegation zone.

Huddersfield Town have also found things difficult on their travels with just one win from their last 11 away matches in the Championship. There have been a number of draws in recent weeks having been held three times in their last five away matches.
