Following a stalemate in Rome, Napoli will be targeting a quick return to winning ways when they host Bologna in an Italian Serie A fixture at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. The hosts have a perfect home record and should pick up the points.

Napoli 100% record was halted after they were held to a 0-0 draw at Roma last time out in Serie A. In a feisty encounter that saw both managers sent off, Roma saw more of the ball and had the better chances but could not find the breakthrough.

Luciano Spalletti’s men are still unbeaten in Serie A and are now second, three points behind new leaders AC Milan but have a game in hand. Napoli also remain perfect at home, winning all four of their matches at the Stadio Diego Maradona.

Despite being shutout against Roma, Napoli are still among the top scorers in Serie A, led by Victor Osimhen, who has scored five goals this season. They also have the best defence this term and have kept clean sheets in five of their last six league matches.

Bologna travel to Napoli off the back of a 4-2 home defeat to AC Milan in their previous Serie A fixture. They came back from two goals down to level matters with Musa Barrow once again on target but a late capitulation saw them concede twice more.

Things have not been particularly smooth for Bologna, who have claimed just three wins from nine matches this season. Sinisa Mihailovic’s men are just inside the top 10 but could find themselves in the bottom half of the table if results do not go their way this midweek.

Bologna are winless on their travels this season and have been on the receiving end of some heavy defeats on the road. They have lost 6-1 at champions Inter Milan and were also beaten 4-2 by Empoli in that run.

Napoli’s defence have also impressed this season with five clean sheets in their last six Serie A matches. Kalidou Koulibaly and Amir Rrahmani should continue their partnership at centre-back and will be targeting another shutout at 5/4 with Paddy Power.
