LEICESTER CITY have had a pretty dismal Europa League campaign, but have a chance to salvage something when Legia Warsaw come to the King Power Stadium.

With no obvious group winner, there's only three points that cover leaders Napoli and bottom placed Spartak Moscow, who play on the same day.

Leicester just can't seem to get going this season – whether that's to do with continual speculation surrounding their manager Brendan Rodgers and the Manchester United job or not, who knows?

But they should take solace that they are playing a Legia Warsaw side who are having an absolute car crash of a season trying to defend their Polish title.

Incredibly, Legia are sitting in 17th out of 18th place in the league after ten defeats from 13 games and are in serious danger of relegation.

They have lost eight out of their last nine games with the only exception coming in the Polish Cup against minnows Swit Skolwin. This from the side who won the title by five points last season.

So this has surely got to be a penalty kick for the Foxes.

How the bookie view it

It's a mismatch according to the layers with 2/11 with SBK the most generous price going. The Poles can be backed at 18/1 to repeat their win against Leicester in September. The draw is 13/2 with Paddy Power.

Recent head to heads

Despite Legia's atrocious season, they did somehow manage to beat Leicester at home in a stunning 1-0 victory. It's one of their very few wins all season. Here's that win below.

Anything else catch the eye?

Leicester have previous for taking their foot off the gas in Europe and Legia have reserved their best performances for the Europa League with a win at Spartak Moscow too, but it's hard to see anything other than a City rout here especially as they need to win.

Boylesports' 5/6 about a Leicester win to nil looks about the best value bet here and that should cruise in surely. Bet365's 7/5 on a home win and over 3.5 goals could easily come up with Legia conceding ten goals in their last three games.
