After being held at Genk on match-day one, Fiorentina are seeking their first win in Group F of the Europa Conference League as they host Ferencvaros. The Hungarians have the quality to make things difficult but La Viola often do their best work at home and should have the edge here.

Fiorentina played out a thrilling 2-2 draw at Genk in their opening fixture in Group F of the Europa Conference League. They led for long periods of the contest after an early brace from Luca Ranieri but conceded the equaliser five minutes from time.

While manager Vincenzo Italiano will be disappointed not to have held out for the win, he will be pleased with Fiorentina's overall form in recent weeks. La Viola head into Thursday’s clash with three wins and two draws in their last five matches across all competitions.

One of the more impressive aspects of Fiorentina’s campaign is their home form as they are yet to taste defeat at the Stadio Artemio Franchi across all competitions this season. They warmed up for the visitors of Ferencvaros with a 3-0 victory over Cagliari in a Serie A fixture last weekend.

Ferencvaros are sitting at the top of Group F after claiming a 3-1 victory over Cukaricki in their opening fixture. They fought back from a goal down with efforts from Barnabas Vargas, Owusu Kwabena Aleksandar Pesic getting the goals.

Since crashing out of the Champions League in June, Ferencvaros have looked almost unstoppable, winning 14 of their last 15 matches across all competitions. Dejan Stankovic’s men travel to Italy off the back of a 6-1 victory at MTK in a domestic fixture last weekend.

That result also extends a solid record on the road for Ferencvaros, who have won their last seven away matches across all competitions. While things have undoubtedly been good, the one criticism is that they are yet to face a top quality side having mostly played against Hungarian teams and lower ranked European clubs.
