It is a top of the table clash in the Eredivisie as leaders Feyenoord host third placed PSV Eindhoven on Sunday. Separated by just four points, both teams appear evenly matched at the moment and could be set to cancel each other out.

Feyenoord are having a solid campaign this season and are the surprise leaders of the Eredivisie. They are sitting above the likes of Ajax and PSV Eindhoven and have lost just once in the league so far.

Arne Slot’s men head into Sunday’s clash unbeaten in their last five Eredivisie matches, although three of those fixtures have ended in draws. One of those draws was a 1-1 scoreline at Twente last time out with Santiago Gimenez's first half effort cancelled out by the hosts.

Feyenoord’s record at De Kuip will give them confidence ahead of Sunday’s clash as they are yet to taste defeat in front of their fans this season. They have won three of their last four Eredivisie home matches but were recently held to a 1-1 draw at Ajax.

PSV Eindhoven will head to De Kuip with plenty of confidence having handed Feyenoord their only defeat this season. They can climb to second place and within one point of their hosts if results go their way this weekend.

Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s men picked up a 2-0 victory over Go Ahead Eagles in their previous Eredivisie fixture with Johannes Veerman and Anwar El Ghazi getting the goals. However, that was only their second win in the last six matches having looked slightly off colour lately.

PSV Eindhoven have been decent on their travels lately and have suffered just one defeat in their last five away matches across all competitions. However, they remain suspect defensively with no clean sheets in their last seven matches on the road.
