Eintracht Frankfurt will be looking to secure top spot in Group D when they travel to Fenerbahce for a Europa League fixture. The Germans need only a point from Thursday's clash and with their hosts often inconsistent, they will fancy their chances of getting the desired result.

Fenerbahce have been far from their best in the Europa League this season, claiming just one win in their five matches. They are currently third in the Group with five points and have no chance of catching second place Olympiakos.

Vitor Pereira’s men prepared for the visit of Eintracht Frankfurt with a 4-0 victory over Rizespor in a Turkish Super Lig fixture. That was only the third win in 10 matches for the Turks, who have been erratic in recent weeks.

One positive for Fenerbahce is their form at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium which has been solid this season. They have suffered just one defeat in their last five home matches across all competitions, playing out two draws in that run.

It has been a topsy-turvy campaign for Eintracht Frankfurt, who are struggling in the Bundesliga while showing their quality in Europe. They have already locked up a spot in the top two in Group D of the Europa League and will be keen finish as winners.

Eintracht Frankfurt warmed up for the trip to Turkey with a 3-2 defeat at Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga last weekend. That result is typical of their domestic campaign as they are currently struggling in the bottom half of the table.

Manager Oliver Glasner will be keen to move on swiftly from that result and will take solace from their performances in the Europa League. They are unbeaten in the competition and earned a 2-2 draw with Antwerp in their previous fixture.
