EVERTON and Crystal Palace lock horns again on Wednesday at Goodison Park in the FA Cup third round replay.

The hosts played out their second goalless draw in a row at the weekend following the stalemate at Selhurst Park in the first game in London last week.

They held high-flying Aston Villa to a draw at home and will be wanting to kick on against Palace and go through to the next round.

It must be slightly concerning for Sean Dyche that they have failed to win in their last six games now, although three of those have been draws after 90 minutes.

And the goals have not exactly been flowing either.

But it's hardly a bed of roses in Croydon either – the Eagles have managed just one win in their last ten games in all competitions.

However, they have picked up recently and have drawn at Manchester City and at home with Brighton, while narrowly losing at Chelsea and beating Brentford at home.

Despite Palace having a free week, veteran boss Roy Hodgson was made favourite by the bookies to be next manager to lose his job.

Yet they seem comfortable enough in 14th place in the league and will want a decent Cup run this season.

How the bookies view it

Everton are odds-on in several places although you can get evens with Betfred, Coral and 888sport to name a few.

Crystal Palace can be backed at 14/5 with Paddy Power and the draw is 5/2 with bet365.

Recent head to heads

The sides obviously met last week in a goalless draw in London and they have also played at Selhurst Park in the league where Everton won 3-2.

In fact, the Toffees are unbeaten in the last five meetings between the sides and Palace haven't won on their last eight visits to Goodison Park.

Players to watch

Dominic Calvert-Lewin was sent off in the first game but won his appeal and was free to play against Aston Villa. He may have a sense of injustice here and is 2/1 to score anytime with bet365.

With in-form striker Michael Olise missing with a hamstring problem, former Celtic hitman Odsonne Edouard will be expected to step up. The French striker is 3/1 to score anytime with UniBet.

Anything else catch the eye?

This looks like it could be another tense affair with very little to separate the sides. And it could easily head into extra time at least after another draw at 5/2.

Everton have struggled with goals and Palace aren't prolific either. You would perhaps have expected unders to be shorter than the 10/13 offered by UniBet so that can be backed for two goals or less.

It's 7/4 for the half time score to be 0-0 again with bet365 and that wouldn't be the biggest shock.
