ENGLAND continue their preparations for Euro 2024 when they welcome Belgium to Wembley for a friendly match on Tuesday night.

The Three Lions suffered their first defeat since the 2022 World Cup when losing 1-0 at home to Brazil on Saturday night.

Gareth Southgate and his players have since come in for some pretty fierce criticism following their lacklustre display against the Selecao last time out.

As such, England will be targeting an immediate response in their latest exhibition encounter with Belgium this midweek.

The Red Devils will also be seeking to put on a better show themselves on Tuesday night after playing out a forgetful 0-0 draw with the Republic of Ireland at the weekend.

Domenico Tedesco's team topped their qualifying group with six wins and two draws so they will be keen to keep the feel good factor flowing when they come up against Euro 2024 favourites England on Tuesday night.

Outright Betting

England are odds on 4/5 favourites with Bet 365 to make an instant return to winning ways at Wembley this midweek.

Despite coming out on top in three of the last four meetings between the two nations, Belgium are big outsiders at 3/1 (PaddyPower) while the stalemate can be backed at 13/5 (UniBet).

Betting Angles

Whilst these two sides were both involved in low-scoring affairs last time out, I'm prepared to go against the grain here and back Both Teams to Score at 10/11 on William Hill.

Gareth Southgate's star-studded team fired a rare blank against Brazil on Saturday night, yet the Three Lions had scored in each of their previous 13 outings across all competitions.

With a much-improved performance exapted from England this midweek, they should be able to rediscover their scoring touch against latest opponents Belgium.

During their Eur0 2024 qualification campaign the Red Devils' rearguard found clean sheets hard to come by when going up against some of the higher-ranked nations in Group F.

Domenico Tedesco's team shipped three goals across their two matches with Austria, not to mention they were held to a 1-1 draw in their penultimate qualifier at home to Sweden.

That being said, Belgium carry plenty of attacking threat of their own and they certainly have the tools to trouble what could well be an experimental England backline.

The Red Devils' aforementioned stalemate with Ireland was the first time they had failed to make the net bulge in 11 matches since exiting the 2022 World Cup, so they could well land a blow at Wembley on Tuesday night.

Therefore, given that both sides' respective strengths lie in forward areas, going for goals at both ends in the English capital looks worthy of interest at 10/11 on William Hill.

This match between England and Belgium will be played on Mar 26, 2024 and kick off at 19:45. Check below for our tipsters best England vs Belgium prediction. You may also visit our dedicated betting previews section for the most up to date previews.
