LEICESTER will be looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they head to Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon to take on Crystal Palace.

After finishing fifth and lifting the FA Cup last season, the Foxes are struggling to rediscover the zip that has served them so well in recent campaigns.

The only two Premier League wins that Brendan Rodgers' side have managed so far have been workmanlike efforts against both Wolves and Norwich respectively.

Last weekend, Jamie Vardy rescued Leicester from a third consecutive league defeat with a late leveller against Burnley and the Foxes followed that up with a limp 1-0 loss at Legia Warsaw on Thursday night.

Crystal Palace, meanwhile, suffered late heartbreak as Brighton bagged a last-gasp equaliser in Monday's M23 derby, on a night where both of my recommended bets banked.

It was a cruel blow for the Eagles, who performed so well for much of the game, but Patrick Viera and Co will have to pick themselves and go again when Leicester pitch up in south London on Sunday.

Outright Betting

Crystal Palace are unbeaten at Selhurst Park this season but the hosts head into this clash as 9/4 (SBK) outsiders while the draw has been chalked up at 5/2 (SBK) with the same firm.

Leicester have won three of the last four meetings and the Foxes head south as 11/8 favourites at SBK.

Betting Angles

It's difficult to have much faith in either team here but backing both teams to score at 5/6 (SportNation) could be the way to go at Selhurst Park on Sunday.

Despite Brendan Rodgers having an abundance of attacking options at his disposal, the Foxes defensive frailties are keeping expectations in check

The King Power club haven't kept a clean sheet in the Premier League since opening their campaign with a 1-0 win over Wolves, with Rodgers' charges shipping 2+ strikes in three of their last five top-flight fixtures.

In fact, BTTS backers would have been rewarded in four of Leicester's last six league outings, not to mention the same bet banked in Crystal Palace's 1-1 draw with Brighton on Monday night.

Palace's defence has been far from convincing but the Eagles do look a more threatening attacking unit this season, with Viera's side notching six goals across their last four league fixtures.

Given that neither rearguard is particularly watertight and each side looks capable in attack, backing both teams oblige at 5/6 (SportNation) makes plenty of appeal at Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon.

I’ll also be waiting to see who starts at right-back or right wing-back for Leicester but if it's Timothy Castagne, then I'll happily snap up 7/1 (UniBet) for the Belgian to go into the book.

The Foxes utility man could have his hands full with Wilfred Zaha who has drawn the most fouls in the division this season, and with that in mind, the 7/1 (UniBet) on offer about a Castagne card looks too big to ignore.
