THE London derbies keep coming thick and fast for Chelsea as they bid to stay on course for a top-four finish.

After putting the shock defeat to West Ham behind them with a convincing home win over Watford on Saturday, the Blues look to compound Crystal Palace's form slump.

The Hammers horror – which prompted Frank Lampard to read the riot act to his players – can be put down as a blip for Chelsea, who are second only to Man United in points gained over the last six games.

Considering fifth-place United are snapping at their heels in the race for Champions League spots, though, Lampard's side can't afford to rest on their laurels.

While the goals have been flowing freely for the Blues – they've scored 2+ in nine of their last 10 games across all competitions – stuttering Palace are the complete opposite.

The Eagles have failed to net in three straight defeats, most recently crumbling 3-0 at Leicester, and seem to be listlessly coasting towards the end of the season having safely passed the 40-point barrier to guarantee another season of top-flight football.

How do the bookies view it?

Having won the last four meetings, and four of their last five trips to Selhurst Park, Chelsea are 1-2 at Bolyesports to extend the hosts' losing streak.

Despite being on their own patch Palace are 15-2 outsiders with BetVictor, while the stalemate is a 7-2 chance at Sportingbet.

Betting angles

It's difficult to ignore Palace's dismal scoring record. They have the second lowest goals tally in the league with just 28 from 33 games and none of their league matches this season have gone over four goals.

Therefore, a bet builder featuring Chelsea to win, under five goals and over seven corners should bring home the bacon at just over evens.

Goals-wise, Willian has been Chelsea's go to guy in recent matches. The Brazilian has six in seven in league and cup – and has netted a penalty in his last three league appearances.

Willian – out of contract at the end of the season – represents decent value at 9-4 with Betfair to continue his scoring streak, while a penalty to be awarded is 5-2 at Unibet and Chelsea to score from the spot is 9-2 at bet365.
