Burnley continue their quest for survival as they welcome Fulham to Turf Moor for a Premier League fixture on Saturday. Both teams have struggled to find their best form lately and could be set to cancel each other out.

It has been a difficult return to the topflight for Burnley, who continue topflight for the lives in the Premier League. They have picked up just three Premier League wins this season and are currently second from bottom on the standings.

Burnley head into Saturday’s clash off the back of a 3-1 defeat at Manchester City in their previous Premier League fixture. They fell three goals down before Ameen Al-Dakhil struck a consolation in the third minute of added time.

The Clarets have also struggled at Turf Moor having claimed just one home win all season. Vincent Kompany’s men played out a 1-1 draw with fellow strugglers Luton Town in their previous fixture in front of their fans.

Fulham have also found things difficult lately as their season appears to be unravelling at the moment. They have been on a steady decline down the table and are just seven points above the relegation zone.

The Cottagers are winless in their last five matches across all competitions and travel to Turf Moor off the back of a 0-0 draw with Everton last time out. That was their second draw in three matches having played out a 1-1 with Liverpool in the League Cup semi-final second leg.

While Fulham have been far from their best lately, things have been worse on their travels as they are winless in their last seven away matches across all competitions. However, in the middle of all of that is a 1-1 League Cup draw with Everton which could give them some confidence on Saturday.

How the bookies view it

Fulham have the upper hand among the bookies and are priced at 7/5 by Paddy Power to claim the win. A victory for Burnley is valued at 2/1 by bet365 while a draw is set at odds of 5/2 by William Hill.

Head to head

Burnley have a 26-12 advantage with six draws from 44 previous matches against Fulham. The Clarets claimed a 2-0 victory in the reverse fixture back in December with Wilson Odobert and Sander Berge getting the goals.

Players to watch

Wilson Odobert has carried much of Burnley’s attacking threat lately and will be looking to add to his eight Premier League goals this season. The forward was on target in the reverse fixture and is priced at 7/2 by bet365 to get on the score sheet on Saturday.

Raul Jimenez is often the furthest player forward for Fulham and will be the one to watch on Wednesday. The Mexican striker is also their leading scorer with five Premier League goals and is priced at 23/10 by Paddy Power to find the net.
