BRENTFORD will be aiming to record back-to-back wins in the Premier League for the second time this season when they welcome West Ham United to the Brentford Community Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Thomas Frank's team have triumphed in three of their last four league fixtures to all but seal their place in the top-flight for next season.

Last time out, a brilliant second-half performance saw the Bees come from behind to floor Chelsea 4-1 at Stamford Bridge.

As such, Frank's charges will be brimming with confidence and in buoyant mood for the visit of West Ham this weekend.

The Hammers haven't given up on their fight for the top four in the Premier League, with last weekend's 2-1 over Everton – in a game which saw both of my London Stadium selections land – keeping the capital club in the continental conservation.

However, following a 1-1 draw with Lyon on Thursday night, David Moyes may well feel that prioritising next Thursday's return match in France is the best way to approach Sunday's trip across the city.

Outright Betting

Brentford, who toppled West Ham in October's reverse fixture, head into this fixture as narrow 18/11 (SBK) favourites while the stalemate has been chalked up at 11/5 (SBK).

West Ham United are winless in their last seven away matches and the bookies' odds suggest those away day blues could be set to continue. with a Hammers road success trading at 31/18 (SBK).

Betting Angles

There isn't a huge amount of appeal in the 1×2 market here but backing both teams to score looks like a nice alternative at 6/7 with SBK.

Brentford have looked a more threatening attacking unit following Christian Eriksen’s swift and sparkling return to top form, with the Bees making the net bulge in each of the last four Premier League games that the Danish playmaker has started.

What's more, Brentford have scored two, three and four goals in all but one of those fixtures so the in-form hosts could have the attacking tools to exploit any chinks in the Irons' armour.

That being said, Thomas Frank's team is not exactly renowned for being watertight, with the hosts posting just six clean sheets across their 31 leagues games thus far, not to mention BTTS has banked in three of their last four outings.

West Ham have also been flying the flag for both teams to score backers this season, with each side obliging in a league-high 20 of the Hammers' 31 top-flight tussles to date.

Therefore, with all things considered, backing both sides to get on the scoresheet in West London on Sunday seems like a sensible approach at 6/7 (SBK).

I'll also dip into the anytime goalscorer market and have nibble on the aforementioned Christian Eriksen to grab a goal at 9/2 with Bet 365.

The Dane scored and was arguably the Bees’ standout performer at Stamford Bridge last weekend and he looks worthy some interest to make the net bulge again here at a hefty price.
