PARIS SAINT-GERMIAN face a nail-biting finish in Champions League Group F when they travel to Germany to take on Borussia Dortmund at the Westfalenstadion on Wednesday night.

Luis Enrique’s side go into their final group game occupying second spot in the section following their controversial 1-1 draw with Newcastle a fortnight ago.

While the Parisians' remain masters of their own destiny going into matchday six, a finely poised pool means they have no room for error if they are to avoid a shock early exit.

The French superpower warmed for this crunch clash with a rather laboured 2-1 win over Nantes in Ligue 1 on Saturday night.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund are already pretty much home and hosed in Group F after earning maximum points from each of their last three fixtures.

However,  Edin Terzić's team have been unable to replicate that form in the Bundesliga this season, as they currently sit fifth in the table after a 3-2 defeat at home to RB Leipzig on Saturday.

Outright Betting

Borussia Dortmund go into their final Group F fixture as 3/1 (Bet 365) outsiders while a share of the Signal Iduna Park pays 14/5 (William Hill).

Despite losing each of their previous two Champions League away games this season, PSG head into this make-or-break clash as odds-on 17/20 favourites at Bet 365

Betting Angles

PSG are difficult to trust at odds-on prices so I'm going to highlight an alternative offering and instead opt for Under Three Asian Goals at 20/23 with Bet 365.

Taking this selection means that we will make profit if there are 0, 1 or 2 goals scored in the match, with stakes refunded if there are exactly three strikes and that holds appeal given the current state of play in the section.

Borussia Dortmund's Champions League matches this season have more often than not been tightly-contested affairs, with four of their five Group F fixtures featuring two goals or fewer.

While BVB  have already sealed their spot in knockout stages, they will still be determined to pick up the minimum one point they require to go through as group winners and ensure seeding for the last-16 draw.

As for PSG, we are unlikely to see anything too gung-ho from them here despite them clearly being in greater need of the points, as they will be wary of Dortmund's impressive form in Europe of late.

What's more, Luis Enrique's sides have long had a reputation for taking a patient approach and the visitors may have no choice but to bide their time to create chances against Dortmund defence that have given very little away in this season's Champions League.

With all of that in mind, coupled with the fact that this bet would have yielded profit from six of the pair's combined nine Group F fixtures so far,  siding with the aforementioned 20/23 (Bet 365) selection on Wednesday night seems like a sensible solution in a section loaded with final night jeopardy.

Team news permitting, I'll also take Borussia Dortmund's Niklas Süle to pick up card at 15/2 with UniBet.

The German international, who traditionally plays as a centre back, regularly fills in at right-back for the hosts but his limitations could be exposed here given that his likely direct opponent will be Kylian Mbappe, whose electric pace is notorious for causing defenders all sorts of problems.
