Roma will be looking for revenge when they travel to Bodo/Glimt for the first leg of their Europa Conference League quarter-final tie. Bodo shocked the visitors when both teams met in the group stage but the Italians have shown plenty of improvement since, and are unlikely to come away from Norway empty-handed.

Bodo/Glimt have been one of the surprise teams of the Europa Conference League. They have claimed major scalps like Celtic but the high point of their campaign was the 6-1 victory over Roma in the group stage.

That result underlines Bodo/Glimt’s free flowing style as they have been among the leading scorers in the competition. Kjetil Knutsen’s men are also unbeaten in the Europa Conference League and are unbeaten across all competitions since August.

Bodo/Glimt reached the quarter-finals of the Conference League thanks to a 4-3 aggregate victory over Dutch side AZ Alkmaar. They won 2-1 in the first leg at home before travelling to Netherlands for a 2-2 draw in the reverse fixture.

Roma’s only defeat so far in the Conference League was that 6-1 loss in Norway during the group stage. They got their act together in time to earn a 2-2 draw in the reverse fixture but manager Jose Mourinho is likely to want payback for that result.

The Italians have been in good form in recent weeks and are unbeaten in their last nine matches across all competitions. That run includes a 2-1 aggregate win over Vitesse in the previous round of the Conference League. They drew 1-1 in Rome after claiming a 1-0 victory in the Netherlands.

Roma have also impressed on their recent travels and are unbeaten in their last five away matches. They warmed up for the trip to Bodo/Glimt with a 1-0 victory at Sampdoria in Serie A last Sunday.
