Bet 3 – Spain vs Belgium – Friday 10^th July at 8pm

Spain and Belgium meet in Inglewood on Friday with a World Cup semi-final place at stake. Luis de la Fuente's side are yet to concede at the tournament, allowing only 19 shots across four matches, the fewest of any remaining team.

Belgium arrive with far greater attacking momentum, scoring 12 goals across their last three games. Youri Tielemans has played a central role in that improvement, dropping into a deeper midfield position following Amadou Onana's injury.

Tielemans to have one or more shots stands out at 1.33. He has recorded two, four, one, two and two attempts across Belgium's five World Cup matches, landing this selection in every game. Even his lowest total still produced the required shot.

Spain's defensive strength comes from limiting the quality of chances rather than stopping every attempt. More than half of the shots they have conceded have come from outside the penalty area, which suits Tielemans' role. He regularly receives possession in deeper central areas and has the range to test the goalkeeper when Belgium struggle to work the ball into the box.

Odds of 1.33 imply a 75.2% chance of Tielemans registering an attempt. His 100% tournament hit rate makes that price appealing, despite Spain's outstanding defensive numbers. Tielemans to have one or more shots is the strongest player angle.

Two clubs at opposite ends of the Allsvenskan table meet at in Gothenburg on Saturday afternoon as bottom side Orgryte hosts third-placed Hacken in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.

Hacken’s opening 11 clashes in the Swedish top flight this campaign have averaged an eye-catching 3.64 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score landing in a league-high nine (82%) of them, whilst all five (100%) of Orgryte’s home fixtures have produced goals at both ends.

Aalesund will look to continue their climb to safety as they welcome fifth-placed Molde to the Color Line Stadion on Saturday afternoon in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.

Aalesund’s opening 11 matches since promotion to the Norwegian top-flight have averaged 3.18 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score landing in nine (82%) of them – including in all six (100%) on home soil – whilst five of Molde’s last eight have seen both teams oblige.

Gnistan will look to continue their strong home form as they play host to rock-bottom Mariehamn in the Finnish capital.

Gnistan have picked up 13 points across their last five Veikkausliiga fixtures in front of their supporters (W4-D1-L0) – scoring 12 goals and conceding just three times in that run – and should have no issue picking up another maximum on home soil against a Mariehamn side that is still winless in the Finnish top flight this season (W0-D4-L10), losing their last seven on the bounce.

Both Teams to Score has been a winning selection in 13/17 (76%) of Qingdao West Coast’s Chinese Super League fixtures this season – including in each of their past 10 – whilst seven of Shenzhen Peng City’s last nine league outings across all venues and six of their past eight on home soil have seen both teams oblige.

As fans around the world count the hours until kick-off, we take a closer look at a special Bet Builder ahead of England's battle with Norway at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

While each quarter-final is worth watching, Norway vs England is arguably the most anticipated clash. The Vikings and the Three Lions produced some sensational matches during this World Cup, with Erling Haaland and Harry Kane proving again and again that they are two of the best in the world.

Norway played a perfect tactical match against Brazil, waiting for the right moment to strike. England played with 10 men for 40 minutes against Mexico, producing an absolute defensive masterclass.

England To Qualify

The task ahead for England is by no means easy, and Norway have already proven that they can hold their own against far more experienced teams packed with world-class football stars, such as Brazil.

We’re certainly expecting a tough match with plenty of twists and turns, and goals seem almost guaranteed. Norway are capable of surprising anyone, but there’s one factor that makes us believe in England’s success.

When Norway were forced to defend against France, they fell apart and completely collapsed. When England were forced to do the same against Mexico, we saw that they have the squad depth and the experience to completely change their style of play and formation to avoid defeat.

Even if something similar were to happen, we believe England will prove themselves once again and come away with the victory.

Erling Haaland To Score Anytime

Can you imagine this match ending without a goal from either Harry Kane or Erling Haaland? Or why not both? Only two players in this World Cup have kept pace with Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe, and they go head-to-head on Saturday.

Kane has scored in four of five matches to date, for a total of six goals. Haaland also scored in four but he didn't play against France, so it's been a 100% scoring rate for him. And he has seven goals already. No matter the opponent, he's found a way to score, which is why we'd back Haaland over Kane in this matchup, but both options can work.

Norway vs. England: Both Teams To Score

It would be a complete surprise if this match ended with few goals or even with goals scored by only one team. England have far too much firepower not to score, and this match will be nothing like the one against Ghana, when they failed to do so.

Norway, on the other hand, have an absolute goal-scoring machine in Erling Haaland, and they’ve also proven that no team can keep a clean sheet against them. All five of Norway’s matches so far have featured goals at both ends and over 2.5 goals.

Conor McGregor's return to the octagon is a major event for global sports, but a return against one of the all-time greats, Max Holloway, guarantees that UFC 329 will go down in history as one of the most viewed MMA events.

Two legendary champions that once defined an era in mixed martial arts collide 13 years after their first match. Back then, they were both featherweights, just starting their UFC careers. Today, they are former champions and guaranteed hall of famers.

Max Holloway has been a heavy favourite from the day the fight was announced, and this hasn't changed one bit. Bookmakers even expect “Blessed” to end the fight early via KO/TKO.

Conor McGregor keys to victory

It's completely unclear how McGregor will return after a five-year absence and a serious injury, especially on the eve of his 38th birthday. Conor and his camp must know that a five-round match is almost certainly not going to end in his favour, which is why they were pushing for a three-round main event until the day the contract was finally signed.

Perhaps we'll see the same old Conor at the start, but it's hard to imagine him keeping up with Holloway's pace over the long haul. After all, the American is one of the UFC's best boxers, imposing a high intensity and possessing exemplary endurance.

Conor will try to earn as many points as possible in the early rounds, but he could even resort to wrestling if Max starts landing too many shots.

And even statistically, everything suggests that McGregor has no chance on his feet, considering that Holloway has survived against all the all-timers in featherweight and lightweight. And he literally holds all striking records in the UFC.

Max Holloway keys to victory

This will be Max's debut at welterweight, and this could either be a positive or a negative. On paper, it should benefit McGregor, as the extra weight will impact Holloway's speed. But the absence of a weight cut could lead to a more functionally fresh Max Holloway.

We expect Max to be extremely calm, despite Conor's attempts to get inside his head. He understands that he has to survive the chaotic first couple of rounds, in which the Irishman will try to win desperately.

Once McGregor slows down, Max will take full control of the fight and potentially move it away from the center of the octagon. Unlike Conor, Max has remained active throughout his entire career, fighting only the best in the business, and this is a huge advantage.

McGregor vs. Holloway prediction: No less than 15 minutes for the fans

This is an extremely difficult fight to predict. There are too many questions surrounding Conor's return, and we know that he has always been the cash cow of the UFC.

Just imagine him beating Max Holloway at Welterweight. The UFC may already be thinking about a potential clash with Islam Makhachev, although that's a very long shot.

And Conor is already making plans to fight Nate Diaz after he “deals with Max.”

And there's always a potential plan for a trilogy between Max and Conor. And then there's the judging problem in the UFC, which has caused countless controversies in recent years. So if the fight goes to distance, we could easily see McGregor winning a close split decision because it is better for business.

Fortunately, Max Holloway is not the type to engage in behind-the-scenes agreements to promote someone else's career, even if that's Conor McGregor.

If we accept that there isn't a hidden agenda, we can only see this fight going one way, and it is not Conor's. Max Holloway should be in full control and dominate the fight, especially if they remain standing.

However, the extra weight will make knockouts harder for both fighters, so we believe the best option is to go for Over 2.5 rounds. We expect them to make a show for the fans and decide the fight in the final rounds, if not go the distance.

Norway have reached the quarter-finals of the World Cup for the very first time, as an Erling Haaland brace saw the Scandinavians defeat record champions Brazil 2-1 in the Round of 16.

Stale Solbakken’s men defeated the Ivory Coast also by a 2-1 scoreline in the round before, meaning they have won four of their five matches in the tournament – firing in an impressive 12 goals in the process – with their only loss coming in their final group match against France, in which the Lions heavily rotated their starting 11.

As expected, England topped their group above Croatia, but found things tougher in the Round of 32, as Thomas Tuchel’s side required a late Harry Kane brace to overcome DR Congo.

Things didn’t get much easier in the next round, as the Three Lions took on Co-hosts Mexico at the Azteca, but despite going down to 10 men 10 minutes into the second half, they managed to edge a five-goal thriller with El Tri.

The winner of this tie will face either Switzerland or reigning champions Argentina in the semi-finals in Atlanta next Wednesday night.

After the big build-up yesterday, we were treated to one of the best women's Wimbledon matches of all time on Centre Court as Karolina Muchova overcame Coco Gauff in a 10-point tiebreak in the final set.

Although the second semi-final between Marta Kostyuk and Linda Noskova was a less thrilling affair, it has set us up with an all-Czech women's final to look forward to on Saturday.

Attention today turns to the men's semi-finals, and we have two intriguing matches to look forward to. First up is Arthur Fery vs Alexander Zverev, with the British wildcard looking to down the French Open champion, before Jannik Sinner faces Novak Djokovic.

Alexander Zverev 3-0 Arthur Fery (10/11)

The Fery fairytale has been remarkable, and for him to have reached this stage is far beyond what anyone predicted at the start of the tournament. However, I feel it is going to come to an abrupt end today.

Zverev is in the form of his life and looks like he has shifted a gear since winning the French Open last month. He was brilliant in his quarter-final win over Taylor Fritz, beating the American for the first time in nine attempts, and doing so without being broken once.

There has to be question marks around the fitness of Fery at this point, too. While he came through his quarter-final in straight sets, he has played five more sets than Zverev this tournament, which is the equivalent of an extra four to five hour match.

Jannik Sinner vs Novak Djokovic over 38.5 games (5/6)

Sinner vs Djokovic on Centre Court is one of the most eagerly anticipated tennis matches of the year. For many, this could be Djokovic's final chance at winning his 25th Grand Slam, as he will fancy the job against either Zverev or Fery in the final.

The Serbian has exerted more energy than he would have liked so far, but given that Sinner has form for cramping up in long Grand Slam matches, he will know that he has to hang in there with the Italian and take the match as deep as possible. It sounds incredible to say, but in this case, you would fancy a 39-year-old to beat a 24-year-old over five sets.

Both of these players have dropped sets throughout the tournament, so it feels unlikely that either will win in straight sets. As long as the match goes four sets, 39 games or more should be played, provided there isn't a lopsided set. For what it's worth, three tie breaks also covers this bet.

To Score 2+ Goals Tips

Guys, two teams that I like the look of to score 2+ goals this weekend are Spain and England.

For the first half of a World Cup double, it is Spain to score two or more goals against Belgium on Friday night. Spain have won each of their last four matches at the World Cup, scoring 2+ goals in two of those victories. They will be up against a Belgium side that has failed to keep a clean sheet in five World Cup matches, conceding two against Senegal in the round of 32.

Next up it's England to score 2+ goals against Norway on Saturday night. England have won four of their five matches at the 2026 World Cup, scoring at least two goals in each of those victories. They are taking on a Norway team that has yet to keep a clean sheet in five matches in the tournament.

Norway vs England, Saturday (22:00)

The penultimate World Cup quarter-final tie sees Norway and England go head-to-head at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on Saturday night.

The Norwegians booked their place in the last eight for the first time in their history with a 2-1 victory over Brazil, while England showed plenty of resilience to edge past Mexico in a thrilling 3-2 encounter.

I have already covered this quarter-final clash in a separate match preview, so this piece will focus on the Bet Builder market.

England Double Chance

England are worthy favourites on Saturday night, and they should at the very least avoid defeat against Norway inside 90 minutes.

The Three Lions have won four of their five matches at the World Cup so far, with the only blot on their copybook being a goalless draw with Ghana during the group stage. It should also be noted that Thomas Tuchel guided his side to this summer's showpiece with eight wins from eight in qualifying, keeping a clean sheet in each of those victories.

While Norway have shown they cannot be taken lightly after defeating Brazil, this will represent a step up in class. Moreover, Stale Solbakken's side have failed to keep a clean sheet across their five World Cup matches so far, which does not bode well given the wealth of attacking talent that England possess.

Erling Haaland or Harry Kane To Score

With two of the best strikers on the planet spearheading their respective nations' attacks on Saturday night, it makes sense to include either Erling Haaland or Harry Kane to hit the back of the net.

Haaland was the hero against Brazil, scoring both goals to send Norway into the last eight of the competition. In fact, the Norwegian goal machine has notched in all four of his World Cup appearances so far, with his overall tally sitting at seven. Haaland will certainly fancy his chances of making his mark against an England side that has failed to keep the back door shut against both DR Congo and Mexico.

As for Harry Kane, the England captain has helped himself to six goals at the 2026 World Cup, with three of those coming across the Three Lions' two knockout fixtures.

Both players are also their respective teams' penalty takers, which adds further appeal to including this selection in the Bet Builder.

Jude Bellingham 1+ Shot

The final selection in the Bet Builder is Jude Bellingham to register at least one shot.

The Real Madrid man has arguably been England's standout performer during their run to the quarter-finals, most notably scoring twice against Mexico last time out. Orgryte’s clash with Hacken in the Swedish Allsvenskan on Saturday afternoon has all the makings of an entertaining affair.

While Orgryte are currently propping up the table in the Swedish top flight, there's been no shortage of goalmouth action in their matches.

That is underlined by the fact that both teams have hit the back of the net in each of the Gothenburg-based club's five home games this season.

Now set to come up against third-placed Hacken, there's plenty of scope for that trend to continue.

The visitors have been the BTTS kings in the Swedish Allsvenskan this season, with this bet landing in nine of their 11 matches thus far.

A closer look shows that this selection would have been the correct call in three of the Wasps’ last four away games, so go for goals at both ends at Gamla Ullevi.

Norway vs England (Saturday, 22:00)

An end-to-end encounter could be in store when Norway and England do battle at the quarter-final stage of the World Cup on Saturday night.

Both teams arrive in the last eight having played their part in a number of goal-heavy encounters throughout the tournament.

Indeed, each team has obliged in all five of Norway's matches at the World Cup so far.

It is therefore difficult to envisage Stale Solbakken's side shutting England out in Miami.

Argentina and Switzerland's World Cup quarter-final clash in the early hours of Sunday morning could prove to be much closer than the bookmakers' odds suggest.

Argentina have already been made to work hard in the knockout rounds. Lionel Scaloni's side were taken to extra time by Cape Verde before coming agonisingly close to requiring an additional 30 minutes against Egypt. Enzo Fernandez's late winner ultimately spared them from extra time and potentially penalties in the previous round, but they now face what could prove to be an even sterner examination against a Switzerland side renowned for being a tough nut to crack.

Murat Yakin's men have already drawn two of their five matches at this summer's World Cup, with their latest stalemate against Colombia going the distance, and another all square affair could be on the cards in Kansas.

Brommapojkarna vs Sirius (Sunday, 15:30)

The draw looks the value play when Brommapojkarna host Sirius in the Swedish Allsvenskan on Sunday afternoon.

Belgium impressed in their 4-1 rout of the USA and they were no doubt fired up by the storm over Folarin Balogun's overturned suspension.

But they were lucky to see off Senegal in the last 32 and the Africans should have been out of sight before Rudi Garcia's side claimed a 3-2 comeback win.

Dundalk vs Drogheda United

The other clash in Ireland tonight sees fourth-placed Dundalk host a Drogheda side who are fighting for their lives at the other end of the table.

Drogheda currently sit third bottom but they're just two points ahead of both Waterford and Sligo Rovers in a relegation dogfight.

Dundalk will be looking to break into the top three to claim a European place and they have two games in hand on Bohemians, who are eight points ahead.

So they will be desperate for three points as well and Bet365 make the home side 3/5 favourites, which seems fair given Drogheda have gone eight games without a win.

The last three meetings have ended in draws, though, and that suggests this should be a tight game.

A stalemate tonight pays 29/10 but I'm playing it safer and going for the half-time draw at 6/4.

Guys, two teams that I like the look of to score 2+ goals on Saturday are Dundee and Falkirk.

First up is Dundee to score two or more goals against Airdrie. Dundee won each of their final three Scottish Premiership home matches last season, scoring three goals against both Livingston and Aberdeen. They will be up against an Airdrie team that lost 2-1 to Falkirk in a friendly fixture on Tuesday night.

Next up it's Falkirk to score two or more goals against Edinburgh City. Spain vs Belgium, Friday (20:00)

Fighting it out for a place in the World Cup semi-finals, Spain and Belgium will lock horns at SoFi Stadium on Friday night.

After being held to a goalless draw by Cape Verde in their opening group fixture, Spain have bounced back in impressive fashion, winning four games on the spin to reach the last eight, with their most recent victory seeing them edge past Iberian rivals Portugal 1-0.

As for Belgium, they come into this quarter-final showdown off the back of their standout performance of the tournament, putting co-hosts USA to the sword with a 4-1 victory last time out.

Spain To Qualify

Spain look like they are beginning to motor in their quest for a second World Cup crown and they should have enough in their locker to get the better of Belgium. Following their shock stalemate with Cape Verde, Luis de la Fuente's side have since gone on to overcome Saudi Arabia, Uruguay, Austria, and Portugal to book their place in the last eight. Moreover, La Roja have not suffered defeat inside 90 minutes since losing to Scotland in a Euro 2024 qualifier way back in March 2023.

Spain's superior class should see them edge past Belgium inside 90 minutes, but the safer play is to back them to qualify.

Under 5 Goals

A rock-solid defence has been the foundation of Spain's run to the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup. The reigning European champions have been imperious at the back, keeping five clean sheets across their five matches and restricting their opponents to a combined total of just five shots on target throughout the tournament. That defensive solidity can be attributed to the fact that all five of Spain's fixtures have featured four or fewer match goals.

While Belgium have been involved in a handful of goal-heavy encounters, the magnitude of this quarter-final clash makes it difficult to envisage this developing into a high-scoring shoot-out. Another controlled, if unspectacular, Spanish success looks to be on the cards, so for the second leg of the Bet Builder, back under five match goals.

Nicolas Raskin To Commit 1+ Foul

I'm going to conclude the Bet Builder with a player-based selection by backing Nicolas Raskin to commit at least one foul. The Belgian midfielder goes about his business in the middle of the park with plenty of tenacity, which regularly sees him end up on the wrong side of referees. That was evident against the USA last time out, when Raskin committed three fouls, while the same was also true during his substitute appearance against Senegal in the previous round. The Red Devils midfielder should be kept busy in his direct battle with Dani Olmo, who has drawn a combined total of four fouls across his last three outings for La Roja.

For the first time at the 2026 Wimbledon Championships, no men's singles matches will take place, with all the attention firmly on the women's semi-finals.

We have two extremely close matches to look forward to on Centre Court this afternoon, with Karolina Muchova set to face Coco Gauff before Marta Kostyuk takes on Linda Noskova.

As things stand, Muchova is considered the narrow favourite to win the Championships, but there isn't an awful lot to split the four women.

Karolina Muchova to beat Coco Gauff (8/11)

Karolina Muchova's price of 8/11 is a little long by our reckoning, with the bookies perhaps spooked by Coco Gauff's stunning turnaround against Jessica Pegula last time out.

Forgetting Gauff's performance against Pegula for a moment, Muchova should be a stronger favourite for this one. She has been more impressive than Gauff in each round, dropping just one set at the tournament so far to Gauff's four.

She also has more pedigree than her American opponent on grass courts. Muchova won BAD Homburg directly before Wimbledon, meaning she has now won nine matches in a row on this surface. Gauff, on the other hand, was dumped out in Berlin in the first round and generally finds life difficult on the grass.

Martya Kostyuk to beat Linda Noskova (8/11)

Marta Kostyuk was not messing around against Jasmine Paolini in her quarter-finals, swatting the Italian away in straight sets. The Ukrainian went through the entire match without being broken, which is rare in women's tennis.

Her serve is a huge weapon on grass, but so is Linda Noskova's, which makes it easier to understand why this match has been priced so closely.

One interesting point about Kostyuk is that she chose to avoid all grass tournaments in the build-up to Wimbledon, which is perhaps going to benefit her now. She is fresher than Koskova and has also spent less time on court at the Championship so far.

Another point in Kostyuk's favour is that she won the one and only previous meeting between the two players.

Both matches to go to three sets (7/2)

The second match of the day between Kostyuk and Noskova is so close to call that I can't see how it doesn't go the distance. Both women have the ability to beat the other, and there isn't much to separate them on grass.

While I am more confident in the Muchova prediction, I can certainly see Gauff taking her to three sets. The streaky nature of Gauff's game can make her unplayable for half an hour. Additionally, all but one of her matches at the Championships so far have gone the distance.

Across his last 36 matches spanning Ligue 1, Champions League and this World Cup, Hakimi has registered at least one shot in 26 of them, a hit rate of roughly 72%. At this World Cup specifically, he leads Morocco outright in shots per 90 at 2.4, ahead of every other player in the squad, while playing what amounts to a wing back role. He also sits second on the team in assists with 2, behind only Brahim Díaz's 4, underlining how heavily involved he is in Morocco's attack.

Notably, his shot conversion rate sits at just 7.7%, well below Rahimi (33.3%) and Saibari (30.0%), meaning his value here is volume, not finishing. That's exactly the profile a shots market rewards.

The concern is France's defensive record, conceding just 6.6 shots and 1.8 shots on target per game, the tightest mark left in the competition. Hakimi's only blank of the tournament came against Canada, Morocco's lowest shot volume team performance, and France's defence is built to produce exactly that kind of low volume game.

Given his consistency elsewhere and central role in Morocco's only outlet down that flank, 1+ shots remains a reasonable angle, though France's defensive record is the clearest threat to it

Les Bleus have played the best football in North America this summer but the Moroccans should offer stiff resistance in what could be a classic encounter.

The Morocco team that blazed a trail to the last four at Qatar 2022 made a habit of grinding out wins but the class of 2026 play with a bit more freedom and should ask a few questions of the French.

France vs Morocco top betting tips

France's march to the quarter-finals has been a team effort and all of their superstar forwards have pitched in with important contributions.

But there's no denying that Kylian Mbappe has been the inspiration and the penalty he scored to see off Paraguay in the last 16 took his tally for the tournament to seven goals.

The Real Madrid star is in the groove and he's odds-on for another strike tonight on the World Cup betting apps. But if you add on over 1.5 shots on target in a bet builder it boosts that price to a decent 11/10 with Bet365.

Morocco's main man has been Ismael Saibari but he's a doubt for tonight's game after going off in the first half with an injury against Canada.

Azzedine Ounahi stepped up in that game by netting a double so he looks worth a punt at 13/8 just to have an effort on target tonight.

CSKA Sofia vs Derry City

There's a few Europa League qualifiers tonight and Derry City have a tough game in Bulgaria against CSKA Sofia.

This CSKA side is nowhere near as strong as the one that often reached quarter-finals and semis in Europe during the Communist era.

But they reached the group stage in their last crack at the Europa League six years ago and have only lost once in six games against teams from the League of Ireland.

That's why Bet365 make the Bulgarians 1/4 hot favourites tonight but they could be a bit rusty as this is their first competitive game of the season.

Derry City, in contrast, have played 25 matches already in their domestic league so that could be a factor tonight.

I'm going to back most goals to come after the break in this one at 21/20 with Bet365 as the Bulgarians get themselves up the speed.

Vojvodina vs Ferencvaros

Ferencvaros blazed a trail to the last 16 of the Europa League last term and start their latest campaign with a trip to Serbia to take on Vojvodina.

The Hungarians beat the likes of Rangers, Genk and Red Bull Salzburg in last season's memorable European adventure so it's no surprise to see them as favourites tonight.

But Bet365 still price Ferencvaros at a decent 5/4 because taking on a Serbian side away from home is no walk in the park.

Vojvodina's recent record in Europe hasn't been great though, losing their last four qualifiers to LASK, APOEL Nicosia, Ajax and Maribor.

That makes me think Ferencvaros could be worth a punt for a win at that price, even though it's their first competitive game this season.

France's performance up to this point turned them into a heavy favourite for winning the whole World Cup, with a repeat final against Argentina looking more and more possible.

To get there, Les Bleus will have to deal with significantly fiercer opposition than La Albiceleste, starting with Morocco, who haven't lost in 34 matches in a row.

Either Player To Score: Kylian Mbappe or Ousmane Dembele

Kylian Mbappe has once again been extraordinary for France in this World Cup, after finishing the previous one in Qatar as the top goalscorer.

With seven goals and two assists, there is a sense of certainty that his name will appear in the scoresheet no matter the opponent. Mbappe scored in four out of five matches to date, only failing to do so against Norway.

That particular match saw Ousmane Dembele score a hat-trick. The two together have scored 11 of France's 14 goals in the tournament.

Over 1.5 Goals

France's only “Under“ since the start of the World Cup was the previous match against Paraguay and we all know how that happened. It was not through high-level defending or because it was an evenly-matched clash.

Every other match has featured a minimum of three goals from France, and we don't expect Les Bleus to be the only team scoring on Thursday.

Morocco have proven to be extremely effective on the counter, and in the final third as a whole, and have scored in every match since the start. Over 2.5 is a strong shout for a single bet, but for this bet builder, we're going down the safe path.

France Over 0.5 Offsides

The match against Paraguay was mostly played in the South American's part of the pitch, and their low block made all offside bets impossible.

But Morocco are not Paraguay, and they will not be defending for 90 minutes. This matchup promises action on both ends, and generally, offsides for Morocco are equally possible.

If we go back to their previous clash in Qatar four years ago, France had four offsides, and Morocco had three. And while this was a while ago and usually old stats don't matter that much, the teams' styles have not changed that much in the time between the two World Cups.

At some point, you just have to back the fairy tale, particularly when there is now some logic behind it. Fery should never have made it past Zizuo Bergs or Grigor Dimitrov, but he came back from sets and breaks down to down both men.

Whatever he is doing, it is working, as he is making players who are technically superior to him wilt under pressure. Now, not to disrespect Cobolli, but he does have a recent form of allowing big situations to get on top of him, not least in the Roland Garros final against Zverev.

What's more, Fery defeated Cobolli earlier this year in the first round of the Australian Open, proving he has the tools to down the Italian in a five-set match.

Taylor Fritz to beat Alexander Zverev (8/11)

Taylor Fritz has gone under the radar this week, but he is quietly having an excellent fortnight in South London. Fritz, a grass court specialist with a huge serve, was phenomenal against Alexander Bublik in the fourth round, swatting him away in under two hours.

The American will believe that back-to-back Wimbledon semi-finals are now firmly achievable, particularly as Alexander Zverev looked a little out of sorts against Jiri Lehecka in his previous outing.

There is also a case for Zverev being tired. He was forced to play Lehecka over two days due to the Wimbledon curfew, and is perhaps fatigued after going all the way in Paris just a few weeks before Wimbledon began.

Jasmine Paolini to beat Marta Kostyuk (2/1)

Nothing about Jamsine Paolini makes sense on grass, but with momentum behind her at Wimbledon, she is difficult to stop. In six full appearances at SW19, the Italian has only made it past the second round twice. However, on both of those occasions, she has enjoyed deep runs.

The first was in 2024, when she made it to the final, and the second is this year, when she has defied the odds in most of her matches to come out on top and reach the quarter-finals.

Paolini is considered the underdog by quite a margin on Wednesday, but she has won both of her two most recent matches against Kostyuk, who is in uncharted waters, having never previously made it past the third round here.

Two clubs separated only by two points in the Irish First Division table meet at Carlisle Grounds on Friday night as third-placed Bray Wanderers entertain second-placed UCD in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.

Paul Heffernan’s hosts are the second-highest scorers in the Irish First Division this season, firing in 40 goals across their opening 22 matches, with 27 (68%) of them coming in front of their supporters.

The Seagulls have blanked just once in the league this season when excluding meetings with runaway leaders Cork City – notching on multiple occasions in eight of their past 10 on home soil – and will be confident of continuing their scintillating form in front of goal against a UCD defence that has kept just one clean sheet across their last five road trips, shipping eight goals.

Willie O’Connor’s visitors have scored 36 goals across their opening 22 matches in the Irish second tier this term, with a league-high 18 (50%) of them coming on their travels.

The Students have gotten on the scoresheet in each of their previous nine road trips, and in 10/11 overall – scoring on multiple occasions in four of their past eight – and will be confident of continuing their goal-scoring form away from home against a Bray backline that has recorded just two shutouts across their previous 20 league outings.

Bray Wanderers’ opening 22 matches in the Irish second tier this season have averaged a league-high 3.18 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score landing in 16 (73%) of them, whilst 14 of their last 19 have gone Over 2.5 goals.

Those numbers rise even further when playing at home, with their opening 11 clashes in front of their supporters averaging an eye-catching 3.55 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score banking in nine (82%) of them, whilst eight of the past 10 have gone Over 2.5 Goals.

UCD’s opening 11 away matches this season have averaged a joint league-best 2.82 goals per game, with Over 2.5 Goals landing in eight (73%) of them – including in each of their past six – whilst four of their previous five and seven (64%) overall have seen goals at both ends.

What’s more, both previous meetings between these two sides this season have produced 10 goals – with Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals paying out on each occasion – and I’m backing that trend to continue at Carlisle Grounds on Friday night.

We've reached the semi-final stage in the Under-19 European Championships and Spain are heavy favourites to swat aside Croatia this afternoon.

The Spaniards won every game in the group stage, scoring 14 goals and conceding none, so it's hard the Croats springing a shock in Wales.

Croatia booked their place in the last four in style, crushing bitter rivals Serbia 3-0 in their final Group B fixture.

But their form was patchy before that, losing to Ukraine and drawing 0-0 with Italy, so it's easy to see why Bet365 make them outsiders today, although 7/1 does seem a bit too big.

Spain are just 1/4 but you can boost the odds to 13/10 by adding on over 2.5 goals and also backing them to win the first half.

With the red-hot favourites yet to concede so far across three games, a Spanish win to nil also stands a chance at 11/10 with the same firm.

Ukraine Under-19s vs Germany Under-19s

Ukraine have been the surprise package of the Under-19s European Championships, although they do have a bit of pedigree at this level, having won the tournament in 2009.

With the ongoing conflict in their homeland, their performances have been particularly impressive, with wins over Croatia, Serbia and Italy seeing them top Group A.

Germany represent a major hurdle in the last four, however, and Bet365 make the Ukrainians 13/5 outsiders.

The Germans were battered 4-0 by Spain in their final group game but manager Christian Worns rang the changes for that match with a semi-final spot already assured.

They had scored four times in each of their first two group games so should get the job done with their big guns restored to the starting line up.

Bet365 price a Germany win at just 3/4 by adding on over 1.5 goals takes those odds up to 6/5.

Kairat vs Sutjeska

There's more Champions League qualifiers tonight and Kairat will be looking to repeat last season's charge towards the lucrative league phase.

The Kazakh side shocked Celtic in the play-offs a year ago and will be confident of going all the way again.

First up is a clash with Sutjeska of Montenegro and Kairat should be too strong for them on home soil in the first leg.

Sutjeska lost 7-3 on aggregate to Beitar Jerusalem in last season's Conference League qualifiers so it's easy to see why they're 7/1 outsiders tonight.

Kairat are already 18 games into their domestic season so rustiness shouldn't be a factor and a home win with over 2.5 goals pays a decent 21/20 at Bet365.

They've been scoring freely domestically, netting three or more in their last four league games, so over 2.5 Kairat strikes on its own also appeals at 6/4.
