To Score 2+ Goals Tips

Guys, two teams that I like the look of to score 2+ goals later on this week are the Netherlands and Italy.

I'm starting off with the Netherlands to score two or more goals against Algeria on Wednesday night. The Netherlands won six of their eight World Cup qualifiers, scoring 2+ goals in each of those victories. They will be up against an Algeria side that lost their last competitive match 2-0 against Nigeria at the beginning of the year.

Next up it’s Italy to score 2+ goals against Luxembourg. Italy didn't manage to qualify for the World Cup, but they still scored two goals or more in each of their seven victories during qualification. Luxembourg lost all six of their qualifiers, conceding 2+ goals in four of those defeats.

Going for the usual 3 points double that pays 7/4 with bet365.

Both Teams to Score Double

Other goals bets that I like the look of later this week include a 12/5 Both Teams to Score double of Albania vs Israel and Sweden vs. Greece.

• Both teams scored in Albania's World Cup playoff tie with Poland in March, Israel were BTTS in five of their eight matches during qualification.
• BTTS landed in each of Sweden's last four World Cup qualifiers, both teams scored in four of Greece's six games during qualification.

Over 2.5 Goals Tips

An over 2.5 goals treble of Poland, France and Spain, 1 point at 7/2.

• There have been over 2.5 goals in three of Poland's last four matches, and likewise three of Nigeria's last four games have seen over 2.5 land.
• Each of France's last seven matches have produced over 2.5 goals, Ivory Coast have gone over 2.5 in four of their last five games.

Spain vs Iraq, Thursday (20:00)

Spain fulfil the first of two pre-World Cup warm-up fixtures when they welcome Iraq to the Estadio Riazor on Thursday night.

The reigning European champions head into the summer showpiece as the bookmakers' favourites to claim global glory, available at best odds of 5/1 with bet365.

Iraq will also be present at the forthcoming World Cup, but they could hardly have asked for a more difficult draw, having been placed in Group I alongside France, Norway, and Senegal.

Spain Win to Nil

For the first leg of my Bet Builder Double, I'm backing Spain to win to nil. Luis de la Fuente's side were a well-oiled machine throughout World Cup qualification, particularly from a defensive standpoint, posting clean sheets in each of their five victories – among them home wins over Georgia and Bulgaria, and a 6-0 trouncing of Turkey away from home. The case is strengthened further by a 3-0 friendly win over Serbia back in March.

Iraq have exceeded expectations in reaching the World Cup, but they are sorely lacking in attacking quality. The Lions of Mesopotamia mustered just 10 goals from their last 12 group stage qualifying matches.

Spain Half Time/Full Time

I'll conclude the double by siding with Spain in the half-time/full-time market.

La Roja are expected to field a strong starting XI before making changes as this game progresses – which is reason enough to fancy them to lead at the interval and see the job out after the break. Even more encouraging is the fact that Spain were winning at both half-time and full-time in each of their five qualifying victories, a trend that also held true in their aforementioned friendly win over Serbia earlier in the year.

With all of that in mind, combining the star-studded Spanish to win to nil alongside them in the half-time/full-time market holds plenty of appeal at value odds of 4/5 with bet365.

Croatia vs Belgium (Tuesday, 17:00)

An entertaining friendly fixture could be on the cards when Croatia face Belgium on Tuesday evening.

Croatia impressed during qualifying by going unbeaten and winning seven of their eight matches.

Belgium enjoyed a similarly strong campaign, also avoiding defeat, though they did draw three of their five matches.

One notable aspect of Croatia’s qualifying run was the number of high-scoring contests they were involved in.

Indeed, each of the Chequered Ones' final two games saw them secure 3-1 and 3-2 wins respectively.

With both teams also finding the net in two of Belgium’s final three qualifiers, all the signs point towards a repeat at the Stadion Rujevica.

Wales vs Ghana (Tuesday, 19:45)

Wales and Ghana go up against each other in a friendly fixture at the Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday night.

The Welsh came up short in their quest to reach this summer’s showpiece, meaning their focus is already turning towards the forthcoming Nations League campaign.

As for Ghana, they are North America-bound, having been drawn in Group L alongside Croatia, Panama and England.

Wales are well renowned for playing on the front foot under manager Craig Bellamy, so there should be no shortage of goalmouth action in this friendly fixture.

Moreover, across the Dragons’ 10 World Cup qualifiers, including their play-off ties, there were goals at both ends in a sizeable seven of those contests.

BTTS has also landed in Ghana’s recent friendly fixtures against Austria and Germany, so a repeat looks the way to go in the Welsh capital.

Albania vs Israel (Wednesday, 19:00)

Two teams that won’t be participating in this summer’s World Cup meet in a friendly on Wednesday night as Albania host Israel.

Albania did reach the play-off round, but they came up short after a 2-1 defeat to Poland at the semi-final stage.

There is plenty of scope for that BTTS theme to continue in the Red and Blacks' latest assignment this midweek.

Israel also missed out on qualification, but were regularly involved in high-scoring encounters throughout the campaign.

The Skyblues and Whites lost 4-2 at home to Norway and 5-2 at home to Italy, among others.

The 2026 World Cup is just a few days away, the bookmakers are already ready with their wide range of markets, and we’re on the hunt for the best outright bets to take advantage of.

The options are endless, ranging from markets on which team will win the tournament or at least reach the final, to options on the exact round in which a given country will be eliminated, as well as markets for each group and individual players.

World Cup outright winner: Spain

One could make an argument in favour of each of the main favourites, and picking the outright winner definitely feels like a gamble this time. 

France and Spain are the top favourites among all bookmakers, followed by England, Brazil, and Argentina. Each of these teams is packed with stars, but they also have clear weaknesses that could hold them back.

The reigning European champions, Spain, however, look like the team that must be beaten for the others to have a chance. If we recall the tournament two years ago, La Roja defeated most of the current favourites on their way to the trophy, and since then, they have only seemed to get stronger.

World Cup top goalscorer: Harry Kane

Most of Europe’s top scorers will be playing in this World Cup, but playing for your national team isn’t the same as playing at the club level. That’s why we wouldn’t take a chance on big names like Erling Haaland, who aren’t lucky enough to have a strong national team and aren’t expected to go very far.

Kylian Mbappe was the top scorer at the last World Cup with eight goals in seven matches, followed by Lionel Messi with seven goals in seven matches.

Sure, both will score more goals, but we think this could be Harry Kane’s tournament. The Englishman scored 61 goals in 51 matches during the 2025/26 season.

With managers looking to avoid injuries before the World Cup, the FAs of both these nations might be pondering the wisdom of pitting two Scandinavian rivals together just over a week before the finals.

Each manager will be looking to boost confidence ahead of jetting out to North America and this should be a decent contest.

Norway vs Sweden top betting tips

Norway didn't put a foot wrong in qualifying and won all eight games as they helped to make sure fallen giants Italy missed out on another World Cup.

Sweden, in stark contrast, finished bottom of their Group B and only secured a place in the play-offs thanks to their Nations League exploits.

New boss Graham Potter then managed to steer them past Ukraine and Poland but Norway still look in much better shape.

The Norwegians are odds-on favourites at 4/5 with Bet365 but adding on over 1.5 goals boosts their price to 5/4 .

Celtic's Benjamin Nygren usually has a few cracks at goal and the Swede is 5/6 with the same firm to get an effort on target tonight.

Turkey vs North Macedonia

Turkey's talented squad could make a splash at the World Cup this summer and they warm-up for the finals with a friendly against North Macedonia this evening.

The Turks are unbeaten in their last six games, winning five, and saw off Kosovo in the play-offs to stamp their ticket for the greatest show on earth.

North Macedonia have little at stake tonight after missing out on the finals and their players will probably already be dreaming of their summer holidays.

So this should be a routine victory for the Turks and backing them for a win to nil pays 5/6 at Bet365.

Real Madrid's Arda Guler is the star of this Turkey side and he's 13/2 to score from outside the box, which might be worth a long-odds punt.

Austria vs Tunisia

Austria and Tunisia are both gearing up for the World Cup and step up their preparations with a Vienna friendly tonight.

The Austrians face Algeria at the finals this summer so it makes sense for them to take on North African opposition in this friendly.

Tunisian also take on two European nations in the Dutch and Sweden, making this match just as valuable to them.

Austria thrashed Ghana 5-1 in Vienna back in March and it's not a big surprise to see them as 1/2 hot favourites with Bet365. Backing them to be winning at half-time and full-time boosts the odds to 13/10

But they've only kept a clean sheet in one of their last three games so BTTS could be worth a punt at evens.

Julian Nagelsmann's side got World Cup qualifying off to a bad start by losing in Slovakia but won all of their remaining games to top their group.

The Germans have since beaten Switzerland and Ghana in warm-up games and it would be a surprise if they slipped up against the Finns in Mainz.

Germany vs Finland top betting tips

Finland failed to qualify for the World Cup and could only draw against Cape Verde in their last friendly so it's no surprise to see them as big as 18/1 with StarSports for a win today.

The best price for the Germans is just 2/13 at Ladbrokes but a win to nil offers more value at evens with SkyBet.

Nagelsmann will probably make plenty of changes in this game and I suspect a lot of players will only get 45 minutes to impress.

Florian Wirtz seems more comfortable playing for the Germans than he does for Liverpool and the playmaker is 15/13 at Unibet to get on the scoresheet.

USA vs Senegal

It will be interesting to see how the Americans fare under Mauricio Pochettino at the World Cup and they step up their preparations with a clash against Senegal tonight.

The co-hosts aren't blessed with a star-studded squad and have what looks like a tricky group, with games against Turkey, Paraguay and Australia.

A 5-1 friendly win over Uruguay hinted at the USA's potential but they've since lost heavily to Belgium and slumped to a 2-0 loss against Portugal.

Senegal are one of the best teams in Africa so plenty of punters will fancy a nibble on them at 9/5 with BetMGM. I'm playing it safer and backing Senegal to win either half at 20/21 with BOYLESports.

We should see goals at both ends in this one and combining BTTS with over 2.5 goals pays a decent 6/4 with Ladbrokes.

Japan vs Iceland

Japan are another team who could go deep into the World Cup this summer and they will be out to build more confidence with a friendly win over Iceland today.

The Blue Samurai headed to the UK during the last international break and chalked up impressive 1-0 friendly wins over Scotland and England.

That made it five victories in a row for the Japanese, a sequence that started with a thrilling 3-2 win over Brazil in the Kirin Cup.

So they look worthy 2/9 hot favourites for a Tokyo win over an Iceland side who have little at stake after missing out on the World Cup.

With Japan keeping clean sheets at Hampden and Wembley, a home win to nil today looks like the best shout at evens with William Hill.

Daizen Maeda's run of nine goals in seven games fired Celtic to the Double and if he starts today then the 9/5 on offer at William Hill for the striker to score looks decent value.

Japan to Score 2+ (Sunday, 11:25)

Japan will ramp up their preparations for this summer’s World Cup when they face Iceland in a friendly fixture on Sunday.

The Samurai Blue picked up a couple of impressive warm-up wins back in March, defeating both England and Scotland.

Those results have seen Japan tipped by many punters as potential dark horses in North America this summer.

As for Iceland, they will not be competing at the World Cup and have conceded two or more goals in three of their last four matches, including a 4-0 hammering at the hands of Mexico in a recent friendly.

Switzerland to Score 2+ (Sunday, 14:00)

Switzerland are another side who look well placed to win with room to spare in their friendly against Jordan.

The Swiss went through World Cup qualification unbeaten, recording four wins and two draws.

Notably, Murat Yakin’s men scored multiple goals in each of those four victories and will be confident of repeating the trick here.

Jordan have conceded two or more goals in each of their last three outings, a trend that could continue against superior opposition in St Gallen on Sunday.

Poland vs Ukraine – Both Teams to Score (Sunday, 16:30)

An entertaining contest could be on the cards when Poland host Ukraine at the Wroclaw Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Somewhat surprisingly, neither side will be appearing at this summer’s World Cup.

That should encourage a more relaxed approach to this friendly, which makes both teams to score an appealing option.

There were goals at both ends in seven of Poland’s eight World Cup qualifiers, as well as in each of their two play-off ties.

Brazil to Score 2+ (Sunday, 22:30)

Brazil will fulfil the first of their two pre-World Cup warm-up matches against Panama on Sunday night.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side will then come up against Egypt next week before getting their Group C campaign underway against Morocco.

As for Panama, a clash with Brazil should serve as ideal preparation ahead of a difficult set of matches in Group L.

The Brazilians swept aside Croatia 3-1 in their last outing and they should claim another comfortable victory at the Maracana.

Two clubs at opposite ends of the Chinese Super League table meet at the TEDA Soccer Stadium on Sunday lunchtime as bottom side Tianjin Jinmen Tiger entertain third-placed Dalian Yingbo in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.

Yu Genwei’s hosts have scored 18 goals across their opening 14 Super League matches this season, with eight (44%) of them coming in front of their supporters.

After failing to score in each of their opening three matches of the campaign, the Tigers have made the net bulge in each of their next 11, and will look to continue that run against a Dalian defence that has kept just one clean sheet on their travels this season, shipping 17 goals.

Li Guoxo’s visitors have scored 21 goals across their opening 14 clashes in the Chinese top flight this term, with nine (43%) of them coming on their travels.

The Young Boys have blanked just once in the league this season – scoring on multiple occasions in six (43%) of them – and will be confident of breaching a Tigers defence that has kept a solitary shutout since the opening day of the season, conceding 21 goals.

After seeing just one goal scored across their opening two matches this season, Tianjin Jinmen Tiger’s next 12 in the Chinese top flight have averaged 3.17 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score landing in each of their last eight and in 10 of their previous 11.

Dalian Yingbo’s opening 14 clashes in the Chinese Super League this term have averaged 3.21 goals per game, with Both Teams to Score paying out in eight (57%) of them – including in 5/7 (71%) of their away matches – and I’m backing that trend to continue in Tianjin on Sunday.

PSG vs Arsenal (Saturday, 17:00)

Continental supremacy is on the line as Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal lock horns for the Champions League trophy in Budapest on Saturday evening.

Both heavyweights arrive at this end of season showpiece having already wrapped up their respective domestic titles, and each will now be determined to cap it off by claiming European glory.

I've already covered the Bet Builder market, but this time I'm turning my attention towards a player-based selection at the Puskas Arena.

The player catching my eye is Bukayo Saka, who looks worth backing to commit two or more fouls at even-money (1/1) with Paddy Power.

At first glance, Saka may seem an unlikely candidate given his attacking qualities, but there is a growing body of evidence to suggest he is no stranger to attracting the referee's attention.

Indeed, that aspect of his game was particularly noticeable when Arsenal and PSG met in last season's Champions League.

The two clubs faced off during the league phase before renewing acquaintances in the semi-finals, with Saka committing multiple fouls in all three of those encounters.

It's also worth highlighting that the Arsenal ace collected a yellow card in both legs of the semi-final tie.

That willingness to overstep the mark has been evident domestically too, with Saka averaging 1.34 fouls per game in the Premier League this season.

Digging a little deeper, that number was trending upwards towards the end of the campaign, with Saka penalised more than once in five of his final nine top-flight appearances.

Operating predominantly from the right flank of Arsenal's attack, there is every chance that trend continues against a PSG side packed with elite talent.

Saka is expected to spend plenty of time in the vicinity of Nuno Mendes and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, two players who have drawn averages of 1.64 and 1.92 fouls per game respectively across Ligue 1 and the Champions League this season.

PSG are looking to lift the trophy for a second year in a row while the Gunners are bidding to make history by ruling Europe for the first time.

Mikel Arteta's side are outsiders with the bookies but can play with the pressure off a little after winning their first Premier League title for 22 years.

Paris St-Germain vs Arsenal top betting tips

Luis Enrique's men have shown over the last couple of years that they're the best team in Europe and that's probably why they are odds-on favourites to lift the trophy at 8/11 with Virgin Bet.

But when it comes to this season's Champions League, nobody has better form than the Gunners. They won all eight of their games in the league phase and have yet to lose a single leg in the knockout stages. That suggests they might offer some value at 6/5 with Unibet to come out on top.

It's probably safer steering clear of that market and going for a stats bet instead. Finals are usually pretty fiercely contested so foul bets stand a decent chance of landing.

I'm going to combine fouls for Declan Rice, RIccardo Calafiori and Joao Neves, which pays a decent 167/100 at Coral.

Scotland vs Curacao

Scotland will get a big Hampden send-off today in their friendly with Curacao before jetting off to their first World Cup since 1998.

Steve Clarke has led the Scots to three of the last four major tournaments and this week signed a new deal until 2030.

He will be looking to celebrate with a win today but Scotland have a wretched recent record in friendlies, with 1-0 defeats to Japan and Ivory Coast in their last two warm-up games.

Curacao aren't at the same level but should be respected after qualifying for their first World Cup. By all accounts Dick Advocaat has them well drilled at the back so I fancy a Scotland win with under 3.5 goals at evens with StarSport.

With John McGinn, Scott McTominay and Lewis Ferguson set to sit this one out, Ryan Christie could get a chance to play in his favoured central midfield role.

The Bournemouth man likes a crack at goal and looks good at 27/20 with BetMGM for a shot on target this afternoon.

AIK Solna vs IK Sirius

IK Sirius are the surprise pace setters in Sweden's top flight and will be looking to continue their storming start away to AIK Solna today.

Nobody had Sirius down as title contenders before a ball was kicked but they've won eight of their first nine games and drawn the other.

That has given them a seven-point cushion over Elfsborg at the top and the leaders are just 11/10 with 888Sport to rack up another three points.

AIK sit in mid-table, 13 points adrift, but claimed an impressive 2-1 win away to third-placed Hammarby in their last outing.

I've a feeling this might be the day when Sirius take a tumble and AIK look decent value at 21/20 with BOYLESports to win either half.

To Score 2+ Goals Tips

Guys, two teams that I like the look of to score 2+ goals on Saturday are Scotland and PSG.

I'm starting off with Scotland to score two or more goals against Curacao in their friendly match at Hampden on Saturday. Scotland scored at least two goals in all three of their home matches during World Cup qualifying. They are taking on a Curacao side that lost 2-0 to China and 5-1 to Australia in friendly fixtures in March.

Next up it’s PSG to score 2+ goals against Arsenal in Saturday's Champions League final. PSG have scored at least two goals in seven of their last eight Champions League matches. PSG defeated Arsenal home and away in the semi-finals of last season's Champions League, scoring two goals in their home win over the Gunners.

Going for the usual 3 points double that pays 2/1 with bet365.

Other goals bets that I like the look of on Saturday include an 8/5 Both Teams to Score double of Falkenbergs vs Oddevold and Bahia vs Botafogo.

PSG vs Arsenal, Saturday (17:00)

The curtain comes down on the 2026 Champions League on Saturday evening as Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal face off in the final at the Puskas Arena.

PSG, after finally conquering the continent last year, are bidding to make it back-to-back titles in Budapest and are 13/10 favourites with most bookmakers to get the job done inside 90 minutes.

As for Arsenal, they will be looking to cap off what has already been a memorable campaign by securing a first-ever European crown to go alongside the Premier League title they lifted just last week.

Over 0.5 PSG Goals

For the first leg of what will be a Bet Builder double, I am backing PSG to score at least once. No team has scored more goals in this season’s Champions League than the star-studded Parisians, who have racked up 44 strikes en route to the final. A closer look at the numbers shows that Luis Enrique’s side have made the net bulge in all but one of their 16 continental assignments this term, notably scoring at least once in each of their eight fixtures following the league phase.

While Arsenal’s run to this season’s Champions League final has been built on defensive solidity, they did fail to keep a clean sheet away at Atletico Madrid in the first leg of their semi-final tie, and the same is also true of trips to both Inter Milan and Bayer Leverkusen earlier in the competition. It should also be noted that Mikel Arteta’s men did not manage to shut out their opponents in five of their final seven Premier League away matches of the season.

Declan Rice to Commit 1+ Foul

I’m going to conclude the Bet Builder by backing Declan Rice to commit at least one foul. While the Arsenal midfielder is not someone you would typically associate with regular infringements, he has still found himself on the referee’s radar quite often in this season’s Champions League. In fact, Rice has been penalised in eight of his 11 appearances in continental competition this term, committing at least one foul in both legs of Arsenal’s semi-final tie with Atletico Madrid. On top of that, Rice was guilty of exactly two fouls in four of his last six Premier League outings of the season.

Rice could be deployed on the right side of Arsenal's midfield, which should see him drift into similar territory to Nuno Mendes and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia – two players particularly adept at winning fouls from the opposition.

Combined, these two selections offer an even-money shot on bet365 that looks good value.

Arguably the standout fixture in the Swedish Superettan on Saturday sees Falkenbergs take on Oddevold.

The two sides head into the weekend occupying places in the top four, with the hosts sitting second and the visitors just two points further back in fourth spot.

There has been no shortage of entertainment when either of these teams have been involved during the opening stretch of the campaign, and there is little to suggest that trend will not continue at the Falcon Alkoholfri Arena.

In fact, both teams have found the net in three of Falkenbergs’ last four league matches.

As for Oddevold, all but one of their nine Swedish Superettan fixtures this season have seen goals at both ends.

What’s more, each of the visitors' four road matches have also produced BTTS, so a repeat looks like a strong play on Saturday afternoon.

Sundsvall vs Sandvikens (Saturday, 14:00)

Another game in the Swedish Superettan on Saturday afternoon that looks a strong runner for both teams to score is Sundsvall vs Sandvikens.

The two sides currently occupy the bottom two places in the division, but they have proven reliable for BTTS backers this term.

With neither team watertight at the back and both likely to go all out for victory here in a bid to boost their relegation survival hopes, that theme could well continue.

Moreover, all five of Sundsvall’s five league games at home this season have seen both teams find the net.

It should also be noted that each of those five fixtures has also produced over 2.5 goals.

It could well be more of the same given that three of Sandviken’s four Superettan road matches this season have delivered a winning BTTS selection.

FC Lahti vs Ilves (Saturday, 15:00)

Goals could well be on the menu when FC Lahti and Ilves lock horns in the Veikkausliiga on Saturday afternoon.

Both sides have made mixed starts to the season and currently find themselves housed in mid-table on eight and nine points respectively.

However, where they really stand out is in the BTTS market in the Finnish top-flight this term.

Ilves have been the BTTS kings of the Veikkausliiga so far this season, with this selection landing in seven of their opening nine league matches.

Even more notable is the fact the visitors have seen each team oblige in all five of their away games, highlighting just how open their matches tend to be on their travels.

It has been a similar story as far as FC Lahti are concerned, with five of their eight league fixtures this season also seeing both sides find the net, including three of their four home matches.

While many punters naturally gravitate towards backing a winner, betting on a draw can be a smart and rewarding alternative.

This is because bookmakers typically assign bigger odds to stalemates, which occur less often than victories for either team.

With that in mind, let’s examine this weekend’s fixtures and identify the games where draw outcomes present the best value.

KuPS vs FC Inter (Saturday, 15:00)

There is a huge game at the top of the Veikkausliiga on Saturday afternoon as KuPS play host to FC Inter.

The two sides sit first and second respectively in the Finnish top-flight, with the hosts currently trailing their visitors by four points heading into the weekend.

While it is still early in the season, this has the potential to be a tight and cagey contest, which makes the draw an attractive angle of attack. Moreover, four of KuPS’ opening 10 league games of the campaign have ended all square, including two of their last four at home.

As for Inter, they would probably take a draw if offered to them before kick-off, as it would keep their four-point advantage at the summit intact. With all that in mind, the stalemate looks like a strong contender at the Kuopio Football Stadium.

Osters vs Norrby IF (Saturday, 16:00)

There could be fine margins when Osters take on Norrby in the Swedish Superettan on Saturday afternoon.

The two sides are both languishing in the bottom half of the table and have posted a combined total of just four wins across their 18 league matches this season. A large part of that can be attributed to the fact the visitors have emerged as the draw specialists in the Swedish second tier this term.

In fact, seven of Norrby’s opening nine league games of the campaign have ended honours even, including all five of their away days.

Osters have drawn just two of their nine league matches this season, but a third stalemate could well be on the cards at the Spiris Arena against a Norrby side who are no strangers to sharing the spoils.

PSG vs Arsenal (Saturday, 17:00)

The Puskas Arena sets the stage for this season’s Champions League final on Saturday evening as Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal collide in Budapest with European football’s biggest prize on the line.

The two teams have enjoyed contrasting routes to this year’s showpiece, with PSG sweeping aside their opponents on their way to Budapest, while Arsenal have been more measured and efficient in plotting their path to the final.

The Gunners are particularly adept at keeping things tight and staying in games, and that is something they could look to do once again against star-studded PSG. That was certainly the case in their knockout away ties against Bayer Leverkusen and Atletico Madrid, both of which ended level after 90 minutes.

What's more, PSG’s last Champions League outing ended 1-1 at Bayern Munich, which only strengthens the case for backing another stalemate in Budapest.

Paris Saint-Germain vs Arsenal, Saturday (17:00)

Puskas Arena sets the stage for an intriguing Champions League final on Saturday evening as holders Paris Saint-Germain lock horns with Arsenal.

Les Parisiens are looking to become only the second team to retain the coveted European crown since the competition’s rebranding in 1992-93 following their emphatic victory over Inter Milan in last year’s showpiece.

The Gunners, on the other hand, are aiming to be second time lucky, having lost their only previous final to Barcelona in 2006.

Arsenal over 3.5 corners

One of Arsenal’s biggest weapons has been their set-piece threat, and it is only natural to expect the Gunners to lean on that edge against a PSG side that are likely to dominate possession.

Mikel Arteta’s men are among the most dangerous sides in Europe from dead-ball situations, and the data supports how often they convert that into pressure, highlighted by the fact they have registered at least four corners in four of their last five Champions League matches.

PSG, meanwhile, have shown vulnerability in this area in recent times, conceding four or more corners in two of their last three UCL outings, so Arsenal over 3.5 corners at 4/9 (1.44) appeals.

Gabriel Magalhaes 1+ shot

The second selection in the BetBuilder ties neatly into the first, with Gabriel Magalhaes often Arsenal’s key aerial outlet in attacking set-piece situations.

The Brazilian averages 0.8 shots per game in this season’s Champions League, just under one attempt per match, but given Arsenal’s likely reliance on dead balls, he should get at least one effort away even if it does not trouble the net.

The centre-back also features in our first goalscorer shortlist and anytime goalscorer market, further strengthening the case for Gabriel Magalhaes 1+ shot at 4/9 (1.44).

Under 3.5 goals

This final brings together one of the competition’s most dangerous attacks against one of its most organised defences, but the high-stakes nature of the occasion suggests caution rather than chaos.

Each of the last seven Champions League finals has seen no more than one team score, with six of those finishing under three total goals, the only outlier being PSG’s 5-0 win over Inter last year.

While Les Parisiens boast elite attacking quality, they meet an Arsenal side that has conceded three or more goals in a competitive match just once in over two years.

The Gunners themselves are also a controlled, pragmatic outfit rather than an open one, so under 3.5 goals at 3/10 (1.30) looks a strong angle for the BetBuilder.

Nuno Mendes to be fouled over 0.5 times

Completing the BetBuilder is Nuno Mendes to be fouled at least once, with the Portuguese full-back’s playing style strongly supporting this selection.

Mendes is effective at both ends of the pitch, with his pace, strength and aggressive overlaps making him a constant outlet down the left flank.

The full-back’s attacking bursts often draw pressure, and he could regularly force Arsenal into recovery fouls, especially in transition moments.

The 23-year-old averages 1.3 fouls drawn per game in this season’s Champions League, so Nuno Mendes to be fouled over 0.5 times at 9/50 (1.18) completes the BetBuilder.

It's clear who the biggest World Cup favourites are and most of them will probably be in the tournament until the very end, but are there any teams that can break the established order?

Morocco have been the Cinderella of the last World Cup in Qatar, becoming the first African team to reach the semi-final. They have since won the AFCON 2025, albeit controversially, and are generally seen as the team that could go far this summer.

Croatia have reached the final in 2018 and semi-finals in 2022, despite never being among the favourites for the trophy. Once again, the small Balkan country is not seen as one of the main favourites, with the bookies giving a better chance of winning to the likes of USA, Mexico, and Japan, with a combined one semi-final appearance (USA in 1930). Meanwhile, Croatia have reached the semis three times, even though they only exist as a FIFA member since 1992, as they were part of Yugoslavia before that.

AFCON 2025 finalists Senegal are also a team that could surprise many, as well as Ecuador, who finished South American qualifiers in second place, ahead of Brazil and Uruguay and only behind world champions Argentina.

However, most pundits agree that Norway are the biggest dark horse of the tournament, and for a good reason. The Scandinavians have never gone beyond the round of 16 at the tournament, but this time things are different since they are led by Erling Haaland, arguably the best forward in the world. Norway finished their qualifiers with a perfect record, winning all eight of their games in a group with Italy, Israel, Estonia, and Moldova. They have scored 37 goals and conceded only five, while Haaland himself scored 16 goals, tying the all-time record for the World Cup qualifiers.

Who are England's biggest threats?

England are one of the main favourites to go all the way, but can the Three Lions actually win their second World Cup title?

Their road largely depends on the way they perform in the group stages, since finishing first in Group L with Croatia, Ghana, and Panama gives them a chance for an easier path. Of course, with so many variables, it's hard to predict exactly how this may go, but in theory, finishing first could give England a path to the finals of Jordan, Curacao, Ivory Coast, and Portugal.

That is the best-case scenario and quite an unrealistic one, but even a realistic scenario would likely pit England against Morocco or Germany in quarter-finals and then in the semis they would likely get either Argentina or Portugal, still avoiding until the final the only two bigger favourites for the title, France and Spain.

On the other hand, if England were to finish second in the group, which isn't out of the question with Croatia as their main rivals, the Three Lions could theoretically go on to face Portugal, Spain, Belgium, France, and then Argentina in the final.

The Parisians are arguably the most dangerous team going forward in the UCL over the last two seasons, netting 44 times in this campaign, more than any other side, thanks to their free-flowing positional interchange in attack.

Mikel Arteta’s side, on the other hand, have different methods of scoring and netted more than any side during the league phase (23), though they relied more on defensive solidity in the knockout phase, netting six times in six games and conceding just twice.

Despite the Gunners’ defensive resilience, we believe that this clash will not end goalless after 90 minutes, as we expect one or both teams to find the net.

In the three meetings between them last season – one in the league phase and two in the semi-final – a host of scoring opportunities were generated by both sides, and we believe it will be the same again this time.

The quality available in both attacking departments is frightening, with world-class forwards capable of producing moments of magic even in the tightest contests. Arsenal’s threat from set-pieces and PSG’s dangerous movement in transition could also play a major role in determining how the final unfolds in Budapest.

With that in mind, MrFixitsTips takes a look at the players that are more likely to score in the Champions League final in Budapest on Saturday.

Ousmane Dembele – 17/10 (2.70)

Dembele is the obvious place to start given his importance to PSG’s attack over the last two seasons. The Frenchman has scored seven goals in 12 Champions League appearances this term and has averaged over two shots per game in the competition.

Beyond the numbers, Dembele has developed a reputation for stepping up in decisive moments, delivering crucial knockout-stage goals during PSG’s route to the final. His unpredictability in one versus one situations and ability to attack space in front of the defensive lines make him one of the most dangerous forwards in Europe heading into Saturday’s clash.

Bukayo Saka – 10/3 (4.33)

Saka remains Arsenal’s biggest attacking weapon despite injuries interrupting parts of his campaign. The England international has registered three Champions League goals and two assists in just 10 appearances this season, while his direct running and ability to isolate defenders continue to make him a constant threat.

The winger also tends to rise to the occasion in major fixtures, with his composure and end product often carrying Arsenal through tense moments. PSG’s aggressive full-back system could leave spaces for Saka to exploit on transitions, particularly if Arsenal can release him quickly into open grass.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia – 5/2 (3.50)

Kvaratskhelia has arguably been PSG’s most consistent attacker throughout this Champions League campaign. The Georgian has scored 10 goals and added six assists in the competition, showing just how influential he has become in Luis Enrique’s fluid attacking system.

His ability to drift inside, combine in tight areas and create moments out of nothing makes him a nightmare matchup for defenders. Arsenal’s compact structure may limit PSG centrally, but Kvaratskhelia’s individual brilliance gives the French side a solution against even the strongest defensive setups. 

Many supporters and analysts have also highlighted him as arguably the best performer in the competition this season.

Kai Havertz – 3/1 (4.00)

Havertz has a proven history of delivering in football’s biggest occasions, most notably scoring the winning goal in a previous Champions League final for Chelsea. That experience alone makes him a dangerous option in a match of this magnitude.

The German’s movement between defenders and ability to arrive in dangerous positions could be crucial against PSG’s aggressive pressing structure. He also gives Arsenal an aerial presence in the penalty area, something Arteta’s side regularly utilise through crosses and set-piece routines in tight contests.

The German missed last season’s semi-final clash between both sides, but was present when they met earlier in the league phase, causing the PSG defence all sorts of problems while also scoring the first goal in that game.

Gabriel Magalhaes – 10/1 (11.00)

Gabriel may seem like an outside pick, but Arsenal’s centre-back remains one of the biggest set-piece threats in European football. The Brazilian has chipped in with important goals throughout the campaign and is often the primary target from corners and wide free-kicks.

PSG have occasionally looked vulnerable defending aerial deliveries, and Arsenal’s efficiency from dead-ball situations means Gabriel could easily find himself with one or two big scoring chances over 90 minutes.

Desire Doue – 27/10 (3.70)

Doue has emerged as one of PSG’s reliable attackers over the last two seasons – registering 56 goal involvements in 101 matches. His pace, technical quality and confidence in attacking areas have given the French side another unpredictable dimension in the final third. 

The youngster thrives in open games and transitional situations, and Arsenal’s full-backs pushing forward could create exactly the type of spaces he enjoys attacking. His fearless approach also suits the occasion of a Champions League final.

Leandro Trossard – 4/1 (5.00)

Trossard often flies under the radar, but the Belgian has consistently produced important contributions for Arsenal in both domestic and European competitions. He has recorded four assists and scored one goal in the Champions League this season and remains one of Arsenal’s most efficient attackers in tight spaces.

His intelligence around the box and ability to score from half-chances make him an ideal candidate in a tense final where opportunities may be limited. Trossard also has the versatility to impact the game whether starting or coming off the bench, something that could prove decisive late on.

The Belgian has also proven to be a “clutch-player” for the Gunners, with a record of scoring several important goals, just like he did against West Ham a couple of weeks back in the Premier League.

Aalesund will look to continue their climb to safety as they welcome sixth-placed HamKam to the Color Line Stadion on Friday evening in a fixture that appeals to me for goals.

Kjetil Rekdal’s hosts have scored 13 goals across their opening 10 matches since promotion to the Norwegian top flight, with eight (63%) of them coming in front of their supporters.

The Tango Shirts have failed to score just twice in the league this season, finding the back of the net in all five on home soil – scoring 2+ goals in three of their past four – and will look to continue their goal-scoring record against a HamKam defence that is without a clean sheet and conceded seven goals across their opening three road trips.

Ex-Rangers and Everton goalkeeper, Thomas Mhyre, has seen his side score 15 goals across their opening nine matches in the Eliteserien this season, with three (20%) of them coming on their travels.

Kamma Have made the net bulge in each of their opening nine league outings this term – scoring on multiple occasions in four (44%) of them – and will be confident of maintaining their 100% goal-scoring record against an Aalesund defence that has yet to keep a clean sheet since their return to the Norwegian top flight, shipping 18 goals.
