I’m stepping in for Thommo with the daily racing tips over the next few days while he enjoys a well-earned break. Big shoes to fill but hopefully I can get us a few winners.
For Tuesday I have three bets that I like with one running at Goodwood and two at Leicester.
2.00pm Goodwood
It may be an obvious selection but I think the favourite ZOFFANY BAY will win easily here. He was pipped last time by Maroc with the front pair well clear of the rest and the soft ground probably wasn’t what Zoffany Bay wanted. In his previous race he won by 7 lengths. There isn’t much depth to this race and he can get the day off to a winning start for us.
4.55pm Leicester
This might be a low-grade contest but it is a nice competitive handicap with a few who have strong chances on paper and the value bet for me is undoubtedly MADAME JO JO. I accept that she has yet to win a race but she has gone close several times this season and has now dropped to an all time low handicap mark. She also drops into a Class 6 race again but the crucial factor for me is the return to good to firm ground where her best performances have come. I expect her to outrun the current price of 16-1 and go very close.
5.55pm Leicester
This is another good race and again there are a few with chances. The size of the field allows us to get an each way price about BIOTIC which is useful because although I think he has the best chance of winning he is a hold up horse so he will be produced late and will need a bit of luck. He has Jamie Spencer booked in the saddle which is perfect because nobody rides a hold up horse as well as him. Get your bets on and get ready to hide behind the couch as they turn for home and Spencer looks for the gaps.

- 4.55 Leicester – Madame Jo Jo – 1pt e/w (16-1, Betfair, Paddy Power)
- 5.55 Leicester – Biotic – 2pt e/w (7-1, Betbright, Betfair)

I have 1 left for my big treble, LUNA MAGIC 625L, the prucr hasnt really moved, 2nd to what seems like a backed Stevie Donohue also up agaibst a couplr potential likelys in Illustrissime and Mullarkey. Any opinions on this race as I added the borse purely on instincts.
Also GOODWOOD SHOWMAN can complete my other treble at 715K, just got in to see uts 2/1, took kast night at 7/2, Sds on, perhaps worth a look.

Funny u say that. Cashed out 105 and stuck it all on her as RdS often pipes up eith an outsider.. needless to say sye got smashed in the market but i got on a 10s, was an easy cash out since the race stunk of foul play aftet the fav was taken out and thr market was so crazy.. lucky mine had a jockey change too.. shame u werent on too ;)
