NONE of my top tips came in on Wednesday with Napoli's failure to give Sassuolo a spanking and Swansea's tame exit from the Capital One Cup the lowlights.
The highlights included Aberdeen's 5-0 rout of Falkirk, Motherwell's win at Livingston and Stoke's success at Tranmere.
It's a quieter night on Thursday but there are plenty of big games to look at including Inter Milan v Fiorentina, Villarreal v Espanyol and Montpellier v Rennes.
At first glance Inter Milan v Fiorentina promises to be a cracker. Both sides have won three of their last four and Inter battered Serie A rookies Sassuolo – who somehow held Napoli away last night – 7-0 at the weekend.
Both sides have picked up 10 points from 12 after decent starts but it's worth noting Inter have beaten the Florence at home in their last seven meetings but the visitors have won their last six away in Serie A.
For a match between two closely-matched rivals Fiorentina look big at 14-5 with William Hill and my Super Single in today's Daily Record is Fiorentina draw no bet and I'm sticking with that for the site.
I'm starting the Top Treble with both teams to score at the San Siro. Fiorentina have netted in 21 of their last 22 away games while Inter have hit the target in 18 out of 19 at home. This pays 3-5 at Titanbet.
Next I'm adding over 2.5 goals at Heerenveen v Twente in the Dutch Cup and this has already been flagged up by The Dane. Heerenveen's last five matches have averaged over five goals a game with both scoring while Twente have his 16 in their last six.
The last three between the two sides at Heerenveens have gone over 2.5 including a 1-5 and a 6-2. Both to score is tipped by The Dane but I'm taking over 2.5 goals at 9-20 with Titanbet.
Finally, back Mjallby at home to Atvidaberg in the Swedish league. Most of Mjallby's good results come at home and they've lost just twice there this season.
Atvidaberg, on the other hand, have netted just seven times in 12 away trips, winning one of their last nine. Mjallby are 1-1 at Titanbet.
Next on my list would have been Villarreal while I was also tempted by Montpellier at Rennes. Gareth Bale made his Real Madrid debut at Villarreal but his side were lucky to escape with a 2-2 draw.
Villarreal are back in the big time and have made an unbeaten start. Visitors Espanyol are also yet to taste defeat so this should be a tight affair with the home side edging it.
Montpellier have started well with their only defeat coming to Monaco. Their last six games have total 18 goals so a home clash with Rennes suggests an over 2.5 goals bet would be the way to go.
Rennes have lost three of their last four at Montpellier by at least two goals and I'm on the home at 5-4 with Titanbet.

Gerrard you first work out what % of his total stake he is spending on each bet and then you work out what is 1% of your intended total stake and multiply by the same amount.
I just did this for me, but for your intended 150 it looks like this:

Dannyboy, its not as simple as that. I’ve never done it, so the Dane will no doubt be back and explain it better. However, he won’t be staking his entire bankroll on a days selection of bets so it’s not as simple as 1% is 6.26 and then adjust it to make 100%. I’d say that he’d only be staking around 20-25% of his bankroll each day so the bets should be roughly…

What do people think of Inter v Fiorentina?
I can see an Inter win tbh. Last time fiorentina won at the san siro against inter was in 2000! Also will be without Gomez and Pizzaro due to injury and suspension. Both have had a great start except Inters only goal conceded was against Juventus. Whereas Fiorentina got there first clean sheet last week. Also Fiorentina have had the distraction of Europa league to contend with so they have played 3 games more than inter this season so could be a little more fatigued plus Inter have Milito back and he bagged 2 at the weekend.
At 1/1 I think it could be worth a flutter?

Well Parksylad Inter v Fiorentina is poised to go over 2.5 if you ask me, but when that kind of money is at stake its worth covering just incase! at b365 under2.5 is evens, so could either put 50 on so £100 back then if it goes under at least you get your stake from the acca back! or you could put 100-200 on, so either way you get profit. one way you’ll be 786-686 up the other you’ll be £50-£100 up! it all depends on how much your willing to lose off your profit if it does come in1

There has been no less than 5 cards in the last 6 games between Villarreal and Espanyol. The last 3 games have been 7, 8 and 12 cards respectively!!! Also there has been red cards in 4 of the last 6 games. In a game I think will be very tight perhaps the overs card market or red card in the game maybe a good shout.

I had a profit of 792 pounds last year (September to July), so I decided to risk half on those 3 teams. I checked carefully all details, teams news, etc… but as we know, everything can happen in football.

Tomsk v Volga has been a pretty poor game so far. 0-0 at HT but all is not lost yet. Still another half to go AND a red card for Volga on the stroke of HT means Tomsk should go and win the game, hopefully an early goal will mean Volga have to go for it.

Reading the aftermath of the Celtic v Morton match has me remembering visiting Greenock many times years and years ago as a die hard Jambo. The one thing that always sticks in my mind about the Morton of old was the sheer genius of one Andy Ritchie. If I remember correctly the guy was one of the greatest free kick takers I’ve ever seen and had so much skill he stood out time after time but I think consistency was not his strong point.

The Last two sides who have chosen clubcall have fell at this hurdle in the past two seasons. However I think Warrington will win. They have beat them both times in the league this season and they mauled them in the cup. Warrington have only lost 3 times on home soil this season. I am not getting carried away with the Giants 76-18 win over Hull they wasn’t tested and that may prove more of a disadvantage, I am never sure how much a team learn from such an easy game like that. I have also mentioned in the past few week Huddersfield tendency to freeze in the big games, so I think that Huddersfield’s fairy tale season comes to a end tonight. Warrington win and cover the handicap for me.

That margin of victory for the 49ers would not surprise me in the least – just be cautious when the tip is coming from a bookie – those pesky camel coats are only after your cash, remember!
You’d need a decent stake but San Francisco on the Money Line at around 1.6 is good enough for me – no need to get greedy.
The one thing to bear in mind is that the Rams got a record 8 sackings against the 49ers last time out and their defensive line will be out for blood after a couple of batterings recently. For that reason I’m staying away from the spread on this one.

I thought Mjallby looked a dodgy bet on paper, but I needed one more team to fill my Heinz and everyone was picking them.
Serves me right 1-0 down after less than a minute and don’t even look like coming back. Think I will start just sticking to my own picks, ironically I usually make more money than when I get help picking.
BasketCase, firstly if you can’t find another team then don’t the Heinz and secondly always go with your gut feeling if you think a side is dodgy. On paper Mjallby looked fine to me.

William, I took Mjallby after seeing them tipped a few times. The Dane put up solid reasoning and I liked the stats. I now see they were a headling tip in the Racing Post. Nothing wrong with the tip, just never happened.

Re NFL 49ers have been hammered in last 2 weeks, and their leading sacker won’t play as he is in rehab. Patrick Willis their best Defender is also Questionable as is Te Vernon Davis and if u saw them play without him on Sunday you will see how poor their pass offence is. My advice keep checking team news.

Internacional sit 14th in the form league with a home form record of P3 D1 L2 while Atletico are P3 W1 D1 L1 in last 3 away. There’s not too much to choose from the whole season records with Internacional P11 W4 D4 L3 at home and Atletico P12 W5 D3 L4 away.
What catches the eye is who Inter have played in last 3 with such a poor record as last time out they lost to Portuguesa at home which is Portuguesa’s only away win of the season. They also lost at home to Santos and drew with Vitoria who have significantly poorer away records than Atletico.
The home teams have been dominant so far in the Copa Brasil but I’m backing Atletico to upset the norm at odds I think are far too high

I looked at them Rick but I find it hard to give any meaningful tips on these games as the home teams are very short but I’m not convinced this is deserved.
South American games tend to default to low scoring home wins or draws but I don’t know enough to tip games between clubs from different countries though the away odds seem pretty tempting.

I have gone quite big on atletico double chance as you provided a rather nice write up. And I have done small takes doubles and treble with all 3 away teams double chance lol
